I honestly just did what another person did in their video and dropped the white ink as is. They made that technique work but it failed for me. I didn’t know the white was supposed to be mixed separately with resin first-then added!!
To achieve this technique, and the similar flower method, you do want to add the white (alcohol ink or paste) to resin before adding it for sure. If you want the petri effect, that's when you drop the white alcohol ink onto your piece after dropping colored alcohol ink. I'm glad you found this video useful! 🧡😊 Thanks for watching!
Sto cercando di ordinare la lampada uv avance i coloranti per resina e il kit stampi per gioielli e il kit iniziale,ma non trovo come posso fare mi potete aiutare anche perché devo vedere i prezzi, grazie
I don't know what country you're in, but if you do a search for Let's Resin you can find out if they deliver to your country. You can also find them on Amazon. Prices may vary. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!

Thanks! The mold, and other products are listed in the video description. You can find most products I use on Amazon. Check out my Amazon shop! Thanks for watching! www.amazon.com/shop/jotzdesigns
tutte ste parole per tirare fuori queste cose? :'@
I'm sorry, with the translation I do not understand your question. Could you rephrase it? Thanks for watching!
Hi my entire piece hardened except the bottom I was think maybe it didn’t get enough air but I don’t know what to do now
Hi! Can you give a little more detail please so I know I'm understanding what happened correctly. In the bottom, do you mean where the piece(s) you were creating a mold of was?
These are beautiful! Thank you for the sharing your technique! Is the small nail brush just from leftover gel clear coat? That seems so much easier than using a toothpick!
Thank you! Happy to share! The brush is from an empty bottle I got from Amazon that I added the UV resin to. I have links listed in the video description for the products I used. You could use any old gel bottle, so long as it's black and throughly cleaned with isopropyl alcohol. I wouldn't recommend adding the UV resin to other types of UV resin in the bottle, including gel polish. ☺️🧡 Thanks for watching!
They were very beautiful I am going to try working with resin to day. thank you
Thanks! I hope your project goes as you hope! 🧡☺️ Thanks for watching!
What do you do with these?
Give them to friends and also sell them. ☺️ Thanks for watching!
Nothing. They are for lazy jewelry designers who are too lazy to actually make them into a proper pendant. So sad.
@pepethepatriot7524 Not everything needs to be jewelry. Creating things with resin isn't limited to one purpose; people can make whatever they want. It's unfair to label them as lazy just because their work doesn't align with your expectations.
Beautiful 😍
Thanks! 🧡😊 Thank you for watching!
Eu fiz o meu jesmonite caseiro!
That’s a good question! It would be great if they were waterproof! 🤷🏻♀️🧡😊 Thank you for watching!
Beautiful job
Thanks 😊🧡 Thank you for watching!

My god. How messy are you You wouldn't have to cut the bits off if you were more tidy pouring
Honestly, I am rather tidy compared to many others. I don’t mind cutting if needed, not everything is perfect, but if you feel the need to be perfect be my guest! Besides, if you are tidy with this technique you will most likely get very large blobs in the pieces, so it is better to be messy! 😁Thanks for watching!
@shirleylouisemahoney3498 What a rude comment! Wow. Not everyone is as anal as you apparently are! 😂😂😂🤦♀️🤪
It is supercute❣️

The hot glue doesn't stick to the back of the heart when someone peels it off?
The glue peels off the heart as well. Because of the heat, if you haven’t let the resin cure for 30 days you might get an indent/mark, but that can be removed with a heat gun. If you don’t want to use hot glue you can use removable adhesive dots like these (linked below), but they’re not very strong and the hearts can easily fall off the card. @@JOTZdesigns okay Thank you!! 😀
Hi, these are lovely. Can i ask what mould you used please? X
I CRINGE when I hear women endorse Hobby Lobby!!! The family owned, "christian" organization was the FIRST ones to initiate a lawsuit (and won) AGAINST women's right to affordable access BIRTH CONTROL PILLS ! They didn't want their health insurance to have to cover that for their female employees!! OMG!! I REFUSE to give them one dime of my money in support of all women of childbearing age...and neither should YOU, nor the men who love them.
Lovely but the video was a bit fast for me. I missed why you had to paint them again with resin after they partially cured.
I’m not sure exactly what you mean. Do you mean the UV resin I used to seal the backs? That’s the only time I added additional resin, but the pieces were cured when I did that. I mention I’m using the UV resin to seal the backs at 5:20. If videos are too fast for you, you can slow the speed down by click on the gear icon when you tap the video and change playback settings. You can also turn on the CC (closed captions) if what is said is too fast or an hard to understand. Hope that helps! 😊🧡 Thanks for watching!
❤.

Love them all especially the pink ones for earrings and pendant
Thank you! 🧡😊 Thanks for watching!
Love it. Thanks for sharing
Thank you! 🧡🙂 Thanks for watching!
Useless this one I got mine yesterday and it wont even pour out of the bottle Would not recomend this one
I’ve heard that has happened with several types of UV resin, but I’ve never experienced it. It typically is an issue with the bottle, how it was shipped/stored, bad batch, etc. I’d recommend contacting JDiction directly (website, FB, IG) and let them know. Thanks for watching!
Amazing video!!! I'm just curious about something and I hope you can answer this question to me. Is it possible to cure this kind of resin if it is CLOSED inside a clear container? Tks !
Yes, UV resin can be curd inside a closed clear container, but keep in mind that due to shrinkage of the resin while curing it may affect the container/project overall, depending on the container itself. Thanks for watching! 🧡🙂
Really very nice ❤
Thank you! 🧡😊 Thanks for watching!
How much
Could you please clarify? How much of what?
I like the backs of them better. :)
I am often torn between which I like better, but that’s why I like putting clear in the back instead of a solid color so that both are still visible! 😊🧡 Thanks for watching!
How do you like the double sided lamp? Does it cure both side at the same time? Does it stiil work good?
I love it! It does cure from both sides, for things like open bezels on clear tape or translucent molds, and it’s nice to have the option of just using one side if needed, or doubling up on things when adding a second power cord and using both sides individually. Very portable, too! The only thing I’m not fond of, and every light has this problem, is that it’s not fully enclosed so usable light escapes. That’s easily solved by placing aluminum foil over the openings, though (and underneath the piece(s) if using only one side of the light). It still works great! Don’t forget to use the discount codes in the description if you decide to get one! Codes for both their website and Amazon are available! 😊🧡 Thanks for watching!
I have a nail UV light can I use that?
Most nail lamps can be used, but depending on the wattage it could take longer to cure. Something you’ll have to test with the lamp you have. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching! 🧡🙂
Hi, is this food grade?
or whats the max temperature it can withstand?
Hi! I do not see anything on their website that indicates an answer to your questions, and I am awaiting a reply from Let’s Resin. I will let you know what I find out.
@hjapheth Let’s resin does not recommend the silicone rubber for food use. Heat max is 428°F/220°C. Hope that helps!
Lovely.
Thank you! 🧡😊 Thanks for watching!
Absolutely beautiful
Thank you! 🧡😊 Thanks for watching!
Thanks i was wondering if i could just use my white alcohol inks as the sinking 😊
Thanks for watching! 🧡😊 Keep in mind that not all white alcohol inks are created equal and will work. If you have something besides Pinata Blanco Blanco I’d recommend doing a test run before any important projects.
Very cool indeed, i learned half a dozen things just from this one video! Thanks from a beginner, liked and subbed :)
I’m glad it was so useful for you! 🧡☺️ Thanks for watching and subbing!
Thanks for taking the time to do all this and show us, great demo. I've noticed that when some artists are showing cells using silicone oil that the cells expand rapidly, so there must be different reactions depeding on the pigment type that's used. Liked and subbed :)
Happy to share! From my experience, the only thing that makes the cells expand more rapidly would be low viscosity (thinner) resins, or the video being sped up. How it is applied can make a little bit of difference, but that’s more the effect rather than speed. Thanks for watching and subbing! 🧡☺️
@@JOTZdesignsAh that makes sense, thanks.
WONDERFUL!!❤
Thanks! 🧡☺️ Thank you for watching!
I just love them! So much fun to do. My hearts always stick to the silicone even when i dont use a heat gun! Ugh
Thanks! Are you using any other source of heat, or warming your resin in any way? Could just be the mold is past its prime. Thanks for watching! 🧡☺️

Its so much informative 😁 Thanks for sharing the vedio , i have one question if we don't have this silicone oil then is there any substitute for this? Would you please assist me 😊
Thanks! Silicone oil is certainly unique and I haven’t come across anything that gives the same results. It’s very easy to find, though. Any hardware store/department will carry it, and it’s generally cheap. 🧡🙂 Thanks for watching!
@@JOTZdesigns Thank you so much for your response ☺️☺️ I will search here in hardware shop 👍 one more question if I want to give waves cell effect so can I mix few drops with white opaque pigment and resin it will work?
@tanujain7133 you’re welcome! For waves, silicone oil is not the way to go. You’ll want to use a white resin paste and blow it out with a hair dryer or heat gun. I’d recommend a hair dryer, though. Heat guns apply a lot of heat and you run the chance of the resin becoming too liquidy and you lose the cells. For the pastes, I love using the whites from Le Rez (purchased through Laura’s Art Corner) and Dryer Days. You can find links and discount codes in the description. In the video I linked below, I use System Three from Amazon and there’s a link for that under the Colors section of the description of that video. Check out what I do at both 2:00 and 9:54 (separate layer) in this video and you’ll see what I mean about using a hair dryer. kzread.info/dash/bejne/eWxqs9KtlbrRerg.htmlsi=KO9K8FbYRDGefynP

Thank you this is a great idea. I been having this problem for a long time and used wood sheathing to support the cavas. I like the idea so you can color the resin for an added fun. Thank you

Is this food safe when finished? Also what is the purpose of adding paint ? can you just swipe the colors?
“Food safe” resin is only incidental contact, not something you can eat from. I tell anyone that purchases my boards to use the resin part only for things like crackers or decoration only. That’s the reason I NEVER cover an entire board, otherwise it’s a waste of a good cutting board. You never want to cut food in resin. The oil in the paint helps create cells. You do not achieve the same results without it. Thanks for watching! Check out my Swipes playlist for more! kzread.info/head/PLx7Pf5A8e8pyNAq1YJxN2HapHTyT9Bi77&si=CodQqXFShEdtucLH
