    Love the car but the price? In Canada where it is Communist Now unfortunately! They the so called gov. kill you on taxes this would get an additional luxury tax believe it or not so by the time you’re done with all the taxing and incentives because it’s over the limit limit is ridiculously low now you’re at six figures pretty much😢😢

    As a previous owner of a 530 XD 2007 the only thing I miss is the sound of the engine. Crappy car, moved on to a 2016 A4 2.0 D quattro and now a mazda 6 2.2 diesel awd. I do not trust the quality of german cars anymore. I will definitely try this 3.3 Mazda next.

    If you aren't speeding in a Telsa, it is a dull, sterile driving experience. I'd take this over the Model 3 in a heartbeat.

  • @EdenMotorGroup
    @EdenMotorGroup8 күн бұрын

    The issue for me (Dave, the guy in the video) is the Model 3p just does not feel as fun to drive in the corners and is less practical. Also (in the UK) the moment you add an opinion it becomes the same price. Or if you add all 3 options much more expensive. Although the Tesla is biblically fast in a straight line. Probably need a new neck if I drove either of these cars daily 🤣

    Only changes I would have liked are a slightly higher ground clearance, and a slightly more forgiving ride...being from South Africa that is. Other than that, you cannot go wrong with a Mazda (Japanese). CX60 diesel is a fabulous car. PS: unsure about the lack of a touch screen...

    I have been driving my Porsche 991.1 Turbo as a daily for several years. A couple of weeks ago I went and test drove the 5N on a whim and immediately purchased it. And over the past 2 weeks I’ve driven my 911 just 7 miles and I’ve put just over 1000 miles on the 5N. It’s a blast. When driving it I can’t stop laughing. It is truly a weapon!!

    I had similar thoughts. In the end couldn't see myself as a Porsche driver. And - as soon as you need to have something repaired/serviced, the Porsche is going to be a lot more expensive. Also, Hyundai gave me 8 years warranty. And - the I5N just is more fun! Hell, it will even suggest N mode (sport plus) if you encounter twisty roads 😁

    Ive watched enough YT reviews to know that this is a very special EV. Elements of which have not been done on any other EV to this level. Got to hand it to Hyundai. Theyve shown the rest of the world how to do a fast EV. The soon to arrive Model 3 P replacement already resembles a pair of worn out trainers in the face of the 5N. #sodull. It maybe quicker off the line but thats it only trick V the very much alive and full of tricks 5N, all of which serve to enthuse the driver. Nice one. 👏🚘

  • @MilodeVries
    @MilodeVries21 күн бұрын

    Official specs it's 0,3s quicker of the line, but afaik tesla usually over promises and underdelivers. But I have the feeling the I5N is geared towards acceleration above 100kmh, where it counts. So quarter mile would be interesting

    Juniper Tesla model Y will be a hard car to beat.

  • @simonsancartier7417
    @simonsancartier741729 күн бұрын

    That sounded exciting for a sec so I looked it up and these are my results: a bunch of AI channels I’m not clicking on, a bunch of speculating fanboys and essentially just news saying it’s a more cheaply made (great if you have stock in Tesla, I guess) refresh of the Model Y. It’s not a special performance edition from what I’m looking at, just a refresh. This, on the other hand, actually exists and works as advertised. Pray tell, in what way is the Juniper going to be better than this (for people looking for a performance EV) ?

    Given that they finally made a proper M3 performance, it could be that they do the same for the MYP. That could be a decent competitor in some metrics. But in pure unadulterated fun it doesn't stand a chance

    I want one so bad. Been an I.C.E. Petrol head for a very long time. Will always have a petrol car (I have carbureted, distributor ignition and C.O.P. Cars) but unbelievably Hyundai makes an offering that would be an amazing daily and fun in the twistes. Most people are not doing 200 miles a day, for me my commute is 30 minutes, the car charges at night and is ready to rip in the morning. I’m genuinely interested in this car! Wish they had a coupe offering but this thing is a monster

    I drove the basic version here in Ireland, 1.0L not sure if it was 100 or 120 Hp but it had decent enough poke, I liked the sound of the 3 Cylinder. I thought the gearbox was kind of sloppy, notchy or was it the fact I'm not used to manual ? Ride was pretty good on Irish back roads which are absolute shite. I love the simple cockpit and love the instrument cluster, I think this has been replaced now in the new model for the Digital instrument cluster. what a shame, I hate them, same in the Astra. The version I drove had manual climate which I love, just so simple. I currently drive a VW Electric car and everything is done via touch screen and it's so dangerous while driving, driving a simple car like the crossland was very refreshing and much safer, I drove the Kia stonic recently and liked this a lot too, it is smaller but big enough for me, don't like all these big SUV on Irish roads they're too big. The crossland is being replaced with the Frontera and I heard that it will have the minimalist design that's all the rage now with minimal buttons and knobs and big screen for infotainment and instrument cluster which would be a crying shame because the Crossland is simple and effective too much information with digital screens which is distracting and often shit to use. I recently drove the Kia Stonic, while smaller it was really nice inside, nice to drive too with what felt like a better gearbox. I can't wait to get rid of this hideous and frustrating Volkswagen electric car, range, recharge times are a pain and depreciation is absolutely shocking and it's the main reason I'm still driving it is because no dealer wants it, even VW gave me shocking trade in on a new car, non ev. Some dealers told me they don't take any electric cars as trade ins so be a long time again before I go electric if ever, as soon as someone offers me a decent price it's gone ! I'll never again buy a car with so much controlled by the touch screen or that has digital instrument cluster, they just look terrible in a car. Now the only thing to worry about is the Stellantis petrol engines in this car that use wet cam belts, it's absolutely vital that the correct oil is used and it's best to get it serviced at the main dealer so if something happens you'll have no issue with warranty. Many people have been rejected warranty on these engines due to indi garages using non recommended oil. This has been an issue on ford also and all Stellantis wet belt engines found in Opel, Peugeot and Citroen and now FIat. I believe Stellantis have changed to chain cam but not sure when and on what brand and model ?
