I like to play guitar -- especially metal.
I also like to play pool, and I have spent a lot of time playing both.
This is why I make videos:
1) because I can, and they're fun to make,
2) so I don't have to do a live demonstration in order for friends and family to see/hear me play,
3) to be entertaining, informative and/or inspiring to anyone who may find them so,
4) to practice performing well under pressure (by treating the camera as a critical audience),
5) to critique myself, and
6) because they might be fun to watch in the future.

Dude.. your tone is right on! I can tell you’re playing an ESP LTD but I can’t tell which model it is.. I have a mahogany body MH-301 and it feels so heavy and well put together.. but I hated the EMG HZs and switched them to Seymour Duncans with a screamin demon at the bridge

Same here! Dave’s solos are awesome, but Adrian’s are so smooth and fun to play. I’m also better at playing Adrian’s style.
@@Guitarded4life1 yea, he has a really good sense of melody and very conscious of chord progressions and that’s what I like the most about him. He always chooses the right notes!
Nicely done. Of course the scale at 0:18 is the hardest part. Phil collin doesnt even play it like the album any more, Hasnt for a while. He plays a dumbed down riff instead.

Nice job man. This is one of those solos that isn't technically impossible to learn or long but just has that, "hold my beer" melodic fit.

Thank you. Yea, it’s an old ESP Ltd H-200. I bought it about 20 years ago. It’s seen better days, but I still play it.

Stupid question: the last note on the first measure,(8 second mark), is that string still being bent? I am probably way overthinking it but I have been stumped.for years.
After bending the 1st string 15th fret, I play 3rd string 14th fret twice without bending. Then I bend 2nd string 18th fret a whole step, then up another 1/2 step before returning to no bend, but with vibrato. The vibrato is effectively bending about a 1/2 step up and back a few times. Does that answer your question?

My sweep picking on this one is down and my left hand is catching up. Scary thing is the tab book one is the right riff and I'm almost positive it's a pinch harmonic.
