Dethsupport (solo) - Dethklok cover - with tabs
Музыка
This is a cover of Dethklok's "Dethsupport" solo.
Below are the tabs as I played it.
Tuning is C standard, but strings are labeled as in E standard.
Fast alternate picking part:
E-8-7-5--------------------------------------3-5-7---
B---------8-7-5--------------------3-5-7--------------
G-----------------7-5-4---2-4-5----------------------
E-8-7-5---------10-8-7------------10^(w)------------
B---------8-7-5-----------10-8-7----------------------
Bendy part:
Note: 14^(h)-(14) means bend fret 14 a half step, then unbend back to 14.
^(w) = bend a whole step.
E-14^(h)-(14)-12------------15^(w)-(15)-14---
B-----------------------15-12-------------------------
E-17^(w)-(17)-15---------19^(h)-(19)-17----------20^(w)-20^(w)~~~
B--------------------- 17-15---------------------20-17---
Arpeggio part:
E-19-15----------15-17-15------------15-19-15----17-15----
B---------17---17-------------17---17---------------17--------17
G------------16--------------------16---------------------------------
Alternative Arpeggio part:
(probably how Brendon Small plays it)
Note: 19T means tap the 19th fret.
E-19T-15-12----12-15-17T-15-12---12-15-19T-15-12-17T-15-12
B----------------12-----------------------12--------
E-15^(w)-(15)~~~~~~~~~
B-15^(w)-(15)~~~~~~~~~

Finally, a 100% correct Dethsupport solo! Good shit
Alright, dude, it's all tabbed out in the description box. Enjoy.
Haha, yea I understand. I didn't really nail it in the video either. First, if you're not already good at string bending, let me just say that this is the fastest most complex string bending sequence I've ever played. The trick is to use 2 or 3 fingers to get a solid grip on the string and bend it forcefully and quickly, but just enough to reach the desired note. Use your 1st finger to mute the adjacent string(s). Practice each section slowly and carefully, but bend quickly to your target notes.
Dude u are the shit thank u so much, expect a full cover from me shortly
Thanks
nice
@MistaStrong Finally a comment! Thanks man.
lol, that's a good question. I don't remember, but it took a lot of trial and error to find a pattern that I could actually play. And that's also the beauty of it. It's like a puzzle. There's a trick to it. It seems impossible, but if you find the right patterns, suddenly the impossible become possible. Let me know if I can help clarify any of it.Dethklok rules! \m/
Awesome job! Also, may I say that is a pretty cool guitar. ESP?

Thank you. Yea, it’s an old ESP Ltd H-200. I bought it about 20 years ago. It’s seen better days, but I still play it.
@MistaStrong Ear. I can usually learn it by ear faster than I can read tabs, plus I generally don't trust tabs. I'm curious what the tabs look like though. After I learned it this way, I compared the repeated arpeggio at the end to mine and it sounds like he might be doing it by barring the 1st and 2nd strings at the 12 fret and hammering on the 15 and tapping the 19 and 17 frets. But I didn't feel like unlearning and relearning. Either way the notes are the same.
The tabs are a bit different, but honestly if the notes and timing match, who cares lol. I have the Dethalbum II book and I'm learning the arpeggios a different way because I think the positions made no sense.
@MistaStrong Yea, whatever works.
Do u know where i can find tabs so i don't have to watch this a googleplex times to figure it out
Did you learn this from the Dethalbum II book or by ear?
I got the arpeggio, but that first part is rediculous... If you could just give me the numbers, I'll figure out the strings
If you have a Paypal account I'll give ya 5 to do it lmao
Ok for the most part, i got this figured out, and all i can say, is this solo, is fucking ridiculous. You ams a God, how long did you have to practice this stupidity?
Dude... The bends are dumb... How do u do it without muting a couple? I've can do it, very inconsistently though... Any tips besides fucking "practice til u hate the instrument, then practice more." That's what my music instructor always said...
