I do 3D visualization, branding & motion design and are my main field of work. I have a broad knowledge of animation, graphic design, web, music, sound effects, illustration and different forms of visual communication.
Anyone know how to do this with gimp or krita? I've tried with both. In gimp, when recomposing back to RGB, the image is wrong colour. With Krita, converting back to RGB, the image keeps the high pass state.

@jhalanddesign6 ай бұрын
Depends on many factors. If it's a swinging rope, I would create a rope guide with dynamics, and use sweep nubs to transfer the messy part onto the rope guide. and then render it like I did in the video. But I wouldn't start a dynamic sim on so many tangling parts, so guides is king at this stage.

Hi, you need to play around with compositing tag/or arnold tag (in my case). There's possible to turn off seen by camera, but it's still seen by transparency. So it's not seen when the camera is on the object, but if there's something like glass without refraction in front, it can still be seen. Good luck!

The magic in the sauce is in the highpass filter, so try to see if you can adjust that so it equalize those parts. Could be also possible to invert the highpass and test that. It's a long times since I've needed to use this technique so not totally sure what's the best way.
