  IVE NEVER SEEN A VERSION WHERE ELSA GRABS ANNA! Nearing the end Elsa touches Anna but Anna didn't freeze. Omg its like they cracked the code to the cold thing but didn't know. Usually for this song elsa doesn't touch Anna one bit but omg I got the shock of my life when Anna didn't freeze

  I got the chance to see Mia perform as Matilda in 2015 when our school traveled to New York my sophomore all the way from Texas. It was an amazing experience to meet some of the other cast members and learn when I grow up.

  This is doubtlessly an unpopular opinion but I actually enjoy this scaled-down version more. I was so hesitant when I initially saw the promotional photos but this makes it feel so much more real. The mirrors add an eery quality to the masquerade and really do create an endless sea of unfamiliar faces and the smaller staging makes it feel a bit claustrophobic. It really does feel like Christine and Raoul have to hide their engagement instead of on some giant stage surrounded by grand staircases, plus when the Phantom does appear (creepily from behind a mirror instead of just down a staircase) you truly feel like nobody has anywhere that they can run or hide, he practically has them trapped in a gilded birdcage. The original staging has a lot of grandeur but this doesn't give you a reprieve from the fact that they are all trapped and slowly being tortured by the Phantom. It really leans into the psychological elements they played with in the rest of this staging too (nearly having Christine jump off the roof right before All I Ask of You, the changed lyrics in Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again, etc.). I know it got horrible reviews but I walked out of the theatre wishing that the show had always been staged like this.

  I wish they still had the cast enter through the auditorium with the cat-eye glasses. I first saw Cats when I was 14 & that moment is still etched in my memory. That was the moment I fell in love with the show

  This kid comes across as a very strong Annie. Very determined. They dud focus more on finding the character than the voice. She can definitely sing but I've heard better voices. The thing is every Annie is a different inturpretation. For example...Andrea Mc ardell belted clear as a bell and the Shelly Bruce had a completely different voice with a bit of a rustyness to it that made her such a special Annie that came off so well you just fell in love with her. Each Annie us suppost to grab the audience with more than just the voice I'm afraid

  we did this for my high school and I will never forget the feeling of being on stage during this song. it was intoxicating and we had an amazing audience every show.
