Thank you Dnarbys for uploading this! I wonder what Jessie Tobias was like with RHCP. Even though Slovak was in this show and he was awesome, this song was from the Jack Sherman era so wonder what he would have been like live with RHCP. Arik Marshal was fantastic with them and theres very poor footage of them with Dwayne Blackbyrd Mcknight playing Give It Away, but I'm sure he would have been awesome.

Was a children's limerick based on the theme song of a 60's TV show western called "Branded." Sure hope Chili Pepper acknowledged that.

I was just telling someone about this. My brother used to sing it to the theme of that show Branded. All these years I thought he made it up lol.

Hillel was the true genius and entire reason we have what we know as the red hot chili peppers today. We would not have this style of music if it was for him and flea creating it

Preach. He literally created them and people only care about John it's so sad because the fact is hillel was so much more creative raw and technically more advanced but hey under the bridge amirite

@@ezekialalvarado2444 ya and after all that's exactly where John got his style. He says many times he joined the band and tried to adapt to hillels sound so he could fit the band. John's always been a copy of Hillel but only the ppl that truly know the peppers know this

Absolute performance artists. I wonder if they ever dreamt of where they would go from here. I remember listening to this and In Casino Out on the school bus in the morning. Such a huge influence throughout their entire careers.
