man just your story telling is great
What area are you talking about? More real information would be helpful.
Thats a lot of fucking money
How does 1 cabin make $1,100 and the others make 50k each?? Wouldn’t they all make about the same amount?
Why doesn’t off grid build equity?
None of that builds any equity, you're throwing money away
1368$ a day?
Bro why the clickbait title?
6:40 and play it at half speed. you can see the prices AND anjoy a drunk host.
That is so cool
Hello, very nice video and helpful! Im trying to down load that spreadsheet, i fill the form 5-6 times but i can find it. Can you help me ?
So, this video is missing one big thing. The property that he is talking about is just a few mile outside of Hood River county. Hood River is a big windsurfing and kite boarding Paradise. The average rent for a one bedroom is about 1,500 per month. So the property is not in nowhere. Is outside of a very big tourist trap. I live in Hood River county so I know. People are lucky if pay 1,000 per bedroom with almost no places available to rent. In the winter we have skiing. Mt Hood meadows is up the road for winter fun. This person need more boots on the ground info, or he would not say the place is in nowhere. And buy the way if you look on Zillow most House 2-3 bedrooms in Hood River starting at about 600K. My Girlfriend sold one last year and got 670k. The market is softer now but equity is gust a number not realized untill the property is sold.
The elders in my family have been investing like this for decades. Our family rule: no less than 25 miles outside from a progressive growing urban area…. It works
460 sq ft home for $360K. You have got to be kidding? That is stupid expensive.
Amazing
Your numbers are misleading. He didn’t build 303k in equity. He put 225k of renovations into it. He only added the 78k in equity.
Correct: $303k increased value, $78k equity gained.
Your channel has become a part of my routine.
Happy to hear that!
Title is clickbait. They bought land for 500k as their first step. Don’t see how that’s 100k.
$100k down payment....
This information is PRICELESS. THANK YOU 😊
Glad you found it helpful!
About 80% of this video is overkill, most of this isn’t an issue at all. And with tech, you don’t even have to get tests or hire professionals to find out soil, well locations, or anything else. Location does not matter in terms of material, everything you supposedly “invest” in is stuff that can and usually is shipped as a kit home. Shipping is not terrible either, if you’re paying $40k for shipping you’re just lazy and letting yourself get ripped off. Nearly everyone knows that deeded restrictions can exist without an HOA. It is not true that you have to get neighbor’s permission unless you are in city limits. Outside city limits, you don’t need anyone’s permission just permits. Arkansas is the only state I know of that is truly 100% unrestricted where they don’t require any sort of permitting for any builds whatsoever. People can legally do whatever they want
It’s confusing why you choose to watch this channel. You seem like you have all the answers. Although incorrect a lot of the times - you seem very confident in your answers, yet you watch and criticize….interesting choice on how to spend your time.
Curious what tech you refer to for soil info. Websoilsurvey is in the ballpark but can be 100s of feet off
I love that Kai always brings value to every video. These are the cold hard facts that I need to inspire me to start my own dream property.
Glad you're liking the channel, Joey! You got this!
So this wouldn’t work for a single person and not in Real estate??
I want to buy a significant amount of land on a mountain to build land in South East Asia to build *multiple* cabins (tentatively 8+), but am unsure where. I've been traveling all over Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines (after having checked other countries and learning the legal stuff). I want it 10 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of any given location. How would you go about finding locations online? It's time consuming and costly to always look for it physically
Ez sub
Hi Kai, where can i find the excel sheet of 07:37?
This is from 2017 because he said last year 2016.
Andrew, how does a host find cleaners to clean properties out in the areas like Edder's and your properties? I've always wanted to do this type of short term rental tiny homes but never think I can get a renter out there.
Good telling video Kai! I enjoyed your sense of humor 😊
Please add 1 second between sentences. It's like a hyperactive 3 year old telling a longgggggg story without a break between.
how do you “get around” paying so much in taxes after you sell your properties??
How is that the bank couldn't figure that out?
How do i find out how much the land is worth?
People aren’t moving from cities. This isn’t 2021 People are still moving to urban areas Your video has misinfo scattered and is based on theory rather than real cases. Please stop pretending you’re an intelligent land investor & developer. You’re just a guru
Ahhh you got me. Dang it. Land and home prices outside of the city definitely have not increased much since 2020. How did you see through my thin veil???
@@KaiAndrew nobody said prices aren’t rising, pleb I said people aren’t moving from cities anymore. Land prices are going up because developers and billionaires like bill gates are buying up farm land across the country You can look and data from March 2024 that shows people are still moving around, a ton. But they’re moving from one major city to another across state lines Way to go off topic, guru
Haha whatever. This guy has been crushing it since Covid
@@BrandonBarberTx no, no he hasn’t. You shouldn’t believe these YT gurus This dude is in the hole, not profits
Dude, you so got me. I didn’t think someone would catch on that I’ve been making it up and I’ve secretly been failing this whole time. All the videos, the properties, the people, the numbers…all fake. Everyone should definitely avoid land and areas outside of cities. ;)
If someone wanted to make a japense style home in america is it possible to do this with 300,000?
Sure. Depends where, size, quality and who is doing the work.
High quality content Thanks!
Glad you liked it!
Impressive story! Good video production Kai!
2024 Framing our 2000sq ft home cost us $170k stick framing with a few steel beams… nothing horribly complex. The drywall was $62k.. foundation was about $37k. Plumbing 23k and electrical was 19k.
Thanks for sharing
170k just for framing????? What on earth?!?
have you heard the other theory about boomers causing a real estate crash as they pass away and their homes flood the market supply? would be curious to hear your thoughts on that one too
Hey Kai, I just watched your video and I must say that it was really informative and well-made. I was wondering if I could help you edit your videos and repurpose your long videos into highly engaging shorts? I can also make high CTR thumbnails for your channel
but how do they build a house? do they use a construction loan or what?
Isn't LVP toxic? Which is its biggest downside, instead of something like tile.
Super informative. The estimated cost breakdown is pretty on point for most areas.
Another quality video Kai! We can tell you put the time and effort into the production.
I’m a realtor out in sc and bro this helped , currently trying to find land for a concrete manufacturing and I’ve been struggling; Im very new to this 😭
Typical Asian. Steal someone else’s intellectual property and hard work
lol what and please look at how many Asian are top scientist in the US lol
That lamp on the top left moves as if there's a constant earthquake... or maybe lots on deflection on that floor? 🤔
lol. Lamp is attached to the desk and I keep bumping the desk
Love it. Great synergy with the businesses. I’m working on something simple .
Subs!
I’ve always liked Kai’s quality videos and I found them quite helpful.
