So, this video is missing one big thing. The property that he is talking about is just a few mile outside of Hood River county. Hood River is a big windsurfing and kite boarding Paradise. The average rent for a one bedroom is about 1,500 per month. So the property is not in nowhere. Is outside of a very big tourist trap. I live in Hood River county so I know. People are lucky if pay 1,000 per bedroom with almost no places available to rent. In the winter we have skiing. Mt Hood meadows is up the road for winter fun. This person need more boots on the ground info, or he would not say the place is in nowhere. And buy the way if you look on Zillow most House 2-3 bedrooms in Hood River starting at about 600K. My Girlfriend sold one last year and got 670k. The market is softer now but equity is gust a number not realized untill the property is sold.

The elders in my family have been investing like this for decades. Our family rule: no less than 25 miles outside from a progressive growing urban area…. It works

Your numbers are misleading. He didn’t build 303k in equity. He put 225k of renovations into it. He only added the 78k in equity.

  • @KaiAndrew

About 80% of this video is overkill, most of this isn’t an issue at all. And with tech, you don’t even have to get tests or hire professionals to find out soil, well locations, or anything else. Location does not matter in terms of material, everything you supposedly “invest” in is stuff that can and usually is shipped as a kit home. Shipping is not terrible either, if you’re paying $40k for shipping you’re just lazy and letting yourself get ripped off. Nearly everyone knows that deeded restrictions can exist without an HOA. It is not true that you have to get neighbor’s permission unless you are in city limits. Outside city limits, you don’t need anyone’s permission just permits. Arkansas is the only state I know of that is truly 100% unrestricted where they don’t require any sort of permitting for any builds whatsoever. People can legally do whatever they want

It’s confusing why you choose to watch this channel. You seem like you have all the answers. Although incorrect a lot of the times - you seem very confident in your answers, yet you watch and criticize….interesting choice on how to spend your time.

I want to buy a significant amount of land on a mountain to build land in South East Asia to build *multiple* cabins (tentatively 8+), but am unsure where. I've been traveling all over Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines (after having checked other countries and learning the legal stuff). I want it 10 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of any given location. How would you go about finding locations online? It's time consuming and costly to always look for it physically

@@KaiAndrew nobody said prices aren’t rising, pleb I said people aren’t moving from cities anymore. Land prices are going up because developers and billionaires like bill gates are buying up farm land across the country You can look and data from March 2024 that shows people are still moving around, a ton. But they’re moving from one major city to another across state lines Way to go off topic, guru
