I am going to shed the light on this interview. They are interviewing the old generation, the young people are against the war. This is a generational divide. Within one family you will have a grandad or a father supporting Putin and the children (30-55) and grandchildren against the war. Sometimes the members of the same family avoid talking about the war, it is like a Big White Elephant in the room. Propaganda is working really well. They are also re-writing history books, literarily. They published new history textbooks for schools that approve war in Ukraine.

You are making a mistake. It's not only propaganda. It's they way Russia is!!! They are a warring nation and always have been. Western Europe doesn't fully understand Russia because you think of them using your western standards of thinking and your western mentality. Russian State since it's INCEPTION has been invading and conquering others. That is the main reason why Russia is the biggest country in the world. Why Russia never managed to invade the West? Because Russians were always stopped in history by POLAND. That is why they have so much hatred towards us...Poles.

Siberia would be at least about survival, now they just send them all as canon meat, an answer for your question about "Poland being greedy", I heard that Poland is selling a lot to Russia since war has started, but reason for this must be justified somehow, in my opinion, the only "fact" that is actually true, young generation know whats going on, they know the ways to gain an access to "www" but they cant say a word, for known reason. Poles has a saying, "dumb nation is easier to rule"

In Poland when you talk about gun, you have to pass some exams, psychological tests, police check you out and according to law, you must have legitimate need. Like sport license, gun collection club, etc. It's very simple to make it done, when you have no criminal record, your mental health is good and after few weeks you have your gun license. Weapons that you buy you have to store in gun cabinet with atests, carry only concealed and you can buy almost everything with single fire mode. In my opinion it is more simple than drivers license. I bought Canik, 1911 and AR15. Without any problems.

The source of Russians being this way is their history falsification. In so many ways. What is white is black to them and vice versa. And that imperialism that is past history in more developed societies, still lives and is propagandised there.

Yes, in Poland, we have a lot of firearms, if you have the appropriate permits (e.g., for sports). You can own up to 20 firearms, including assault rifles, sniper rifles, pistols, etc. Fully automatic weapons are not allowed. Poles are a sensible nation, and owning firearms is not a reason to shoot each other in the streets. This is not the third world.

1420 was a superb channel. People in the west never would have though just how brainwashed russians were and how much they have been brainwashed to think that russia is super peaceful... Sorry for writing so much, as this topic is absolutly important for me. You mentioned: "How can they talk about others being Nazis and talk like that?" Thats why I call that country russian fascististan since 2011. Also they complain about Nazis in Ukraine. Asov is mostly Russian speaking Ukrainians. But as they are Ukrainians it has to be Nazis. Russian Wagner is called Wagner because Wagner was Hitlers beloved composer. The founder of Wagner Utkin had SS runes on his shoulders and a svastika on his breast. But as he is a russian - he cannot be a Nazi, although he said openly he is one. And imagine such people go to Ukraine to search for people with tattos that look suspicious. Sects in Ukraine? There is a Jewish minority - sects. Catholics in the west - sects. Ukrainian orthodox - SATANISTS. Russian orthodox - now it gets complicated. My son was baptized russian orthodox in western Ukraine that doesnt follow KGB Kyril anymore. There are baptists too especially in the west (european/austrian influence). Of course you also have some muslims there. But all are sects. Only believing in saint vladimir putin and KGB Kyril is good. Mert: The older generation is not using internet. Few new English at all to search for news in other languages. They WANT to believe it. They want to believe they are saints and the others are evil. Imagine the uncle of my wife is living near St. Petersburg. His mother and sister in western Ukraine. He was visiting them each year. But now he is telling them about Nazis and that although he is Ukrainian too and should know his country. Damn he even wouldnt care if his mother and sister got murdered. The people you see in that video are not the less educated. It is just a completely different world they live in due to history lectures and propaganda. And in russia they prepare the youth even more for war now. The big war will come. If we support Ukraine or not wont matter much. If we support Ukraine we have a chance to stop them now. If we dont, they will use Ukrainians to fight us later and use the knowledge they gained now. Oh and dont forget what they say in "Solovev live": 2, 3 nuclear bombs and the British Island will drown under the sea. Why does Ukraine dont love Russians? It suddenly started, wait about 100 years ago, Holodomor? Ah no, Holodomor didnt exist... Forgot...

Mert, I am talking to russians and Ukrainians for 20years. I have been there once or twice each year. What you see here is how well russian propaganda works. And what if I tell you that Scotland almost separated from GB with the help of russia and GB left EU with help of russia. The size of that russian propaganda network and how much it already influenced elections worldwide is something you would hardly believe. Btw the most memorable trip was 2011 to Moscow after the plane with the Polish elite crashed. My question why Polish president wanted to go there - unanswered. In WW2 soviets helped Poland (by invading them from the east and killing their elites). They can absolutely not understand why the countries around them dont like them. Must be US influence (who cares for Prague, Berlin, Budapest). But what my gf there said shocked me: -"Nobody likes us." - Later: "We dont want to be loved, we want to be FEARED". -"Wouldnt it be cool if everybody spoke the same language - Russian". -"The EU is about to split up sooner or later" (indeed someday it will, but I could hear the "we try our best it will be sooner"). -"In soviet union times we have been so strong that even USA feared us. We want that again." -"Stalin was worse than Hitler, because Stalin killed his own too." I wonder why Ukrainian Bandera is even worse then. It is like Bandera > Stalin > Hitler - thats ridiculous. -"We never attacked anybody. That land in the east was unsettled" (I guess China will tell you something else and the minorities living there too) -"Russia never lost a war and never will" -She was a student that became a teacher and told me about plans to change education plans in russia and was upset that it was planed to be like Hitler wanted education for russians, so only the very basics, because only workers are needed - and not people who knew and think too much. I already back then thought: "Oh, somebody needs dumb soldiers who believe all that crap and wont ask stupid questions." And from russian social media: "NATO is not a threat, we will crush them" - So thats why Ukraine is attacked, because of NATO? I never saw or heard that people in Ukraine wanted to join NATO in big numbers in my 15 years that I visit that country. Stalin is getting praised again (Kaliningrad some days a year back to Stalingrad, we see first memorials back too) Russian family I visited in Kerch (where the crimean bridge starts/ends now) 2007: "Stalin was good." - Me: "But he killed millions of your people" They: "But it was for the economy!" If you are interested what is going on in russia, I recommend "InsideRussia" with Konstantin though he is now outside russia.

Comparing Poland with the USA it is a completely different league. If we have someone attacking others with a gun we have it as the main news on national TV. One occurrence every 2-3 years - that's the usual frequency. In Poland, you need a license to own a gun. And most people don't have it, don't feel a need to have it. We don't know how to shoot. Now because of the war at the border military forces are organizing training and shooting lessons were added to the school program. In case of mobilization, we don't know how to use a gun. The homeless problem is in the past now. Yes, we still have it in big cities, but you need to rather look to find a homeless person. Try in winter it will be easier. Crime after drugs - a national TV topic, higher in the news than a president or prime minister. We have bigger communication accidents in the national news.

Owning a gun in PL is little bit tricky, because you can easily buy a weapon for "collectors" and you need a permit for it. Aswell as for sports, hunting etc. But the closest one to the US standards is the "for personal safety" permit which is extremely hard to get. So no.1 thing about guns is gun control laws, no. 2 is we don't really have a "gun owning" culture. No 3. really important fact is our society is really homogenic. Right now it feels weird to hear ukrainian language so often because it was not a standard. So I think the structure of society is really important in the safety dispute. The less homogenic the society is the more dangerous the feeling of the country could be.
