Grew up in the 60s, 70s and had two older brothers who let me listen to all their great music, but for some reason, the 80s is MY music. I don't know... maybe it was because I was out of college and on my own and free to do whatever i wanted that went along with all the great music. I know a lot of 80s music was synth pop, but the second British invasion was fantastic! The Cure, Depeche Mode, Dire Straits, Dexy's, Dolby, Duran, Eurythmics, A FVCKING FLOCK OF SEAGULLS!!!!!, THE FIXX, Heaven 17, Human League, Idol, Howard Jones, Modern English, Naked Eyes, New Order, Pet Shop Boys, Simple Minds, Talk Talk, Tears for Fears, Thompson Twins. Awesome 80s!
