I'm Lesley, Mom to 12, Gran of 23 beautiful children, Sewist, Artist, and passionate Creative. I am here to invite you to The Sewing Circle. For those of you who may not know, a sewing circle is a group of people (you and I) who meet regularly for the purpose of sewing, chatting, community, connection, and advice. In my former life as a Mennonite, our sewing circle was a place to come work on sewing projects. As we spent the day together, we exchanged advice on household management, pregnancy and childbirth, marriage, and recipes as well as stories from years gone by. Our lunch was potluck style. We enjoyed ourselves, and as our children played together, we gathered around in love and community. Here, I strive to create the same atmosphere. So grab your coffee, snack, and sewing project... I made Simplicity 9776 for our cruise in May (already seems so long ago). I think your green fabric would work well for it. It's very fast to make up and I had no issues. I made the short version and I do wish I had added a bit of length to it when I cut it out but if there's anywhere you can get away with something shorter than your comfort level it's on a cruise! I also used a lightweight polyester so it took up very little room in my luggage which is always a bonus. Have fun sewing for your cruise. I'll have to look back at your previous videos to find out where you're going.

Are you aware of any AO houses who print for you? FINALLY, why dont we rally US vendors (maybe someone in US could coordinate as a separate chapter) to participate next time so US sewers can get prizes…
Hello ❤️, great questions. I personally just use our home printer paper for PDF patterns. I have had PDFs printed on large paper at Staples. I just don't get there often enough to justify it. Depending on the pattern size, it can take me 20 min to an hour to tape and cut out a pattern. I enjoy the process. I am not in charge of the Pogonip Party. It would be a fun idea to include U.S. vendors for us U.S. players. I'm excited to be included in the party!! Will you be making one too?

Great finds at Falling Prices. I had never heard of that store. I did an internet search and found they are in Northern California at the moment. I'm in Southern California. Bummer. All your options sound like good ones but I'd probably use the darker shade of fabric on bottom half of jacket. Only because it's the part of a jacket that usually gets dirty first.
