I still haven't bought C:S2. I wanted to do it shortly after launch when the game becomes playable on Linux 🐧(via Proton). But then the negative reviews came in and never stopped so I stick to C:S1. It's still a great game and compared to C:S2 is actually supports Linux natively instead via compatibility layer.

Ok. Um....I'm more than a little confused. I grew up in a series of unfortunate neighborhoods. Doing drugs? No. Stealing or hurting ppl? No. 🤔 nah, just making cool maps!?!???? Imo, you might want to find a different doctor. They look very cool to me. Good luck with urban planning! 😊

Man you have one hell of a talent for drawing real detailed maps. Doesn't matter if you were autistic or not, having a talent such as this is a special gift that few have.

Imo, it is weird in the way that it's quite intriguing for a person to be able to cram that much depth of detail of environment, recall it and draw it quite neatly on paper. Can't really see what's wrong with that at all, perhaps others sees it as a sort of unhealthy obsession of mundane details (perhaps if someone does that with average memory), when I would think that you are doing it because your brain are just, automatically able to. Some profession would die to be able to get your ability. Example : Taxi driver, urban planner, property lawyer, postman. Thats my honest first impression for this video. If theres an apocalypse I would get this person to show me way out of any city tbh.

These are so beautiful. My 8 year old is autistic, and I would be thrilled if he did something this beautiful and this complex. (We've had a week of him being super keen on sewing, and we're riding the wave. Maybe I'll be a lifelong thing, maybe it'll be a fortnight - we're still having fun and learning things together!)

Someone with a burning desire to do something such as this shouldn't be seen as weird or possessed. That's just freaking unkind and heartless. To those people who had the balls to perceive you as abnormal for doing what you love: 🖕

If you were my kid I'd be totally proud of your skills. People usually think that being normal is a good thing. Normality means safety for the masses but art like this is very far from a normal skill and this my friend, this is you an true real artist. I am afrsid saying that be the brief background you provided us viewers means that your parents even though proud inside they wanted for once a normalcy feeling. Keep up whatever you maybe doing good on this field. 🎉

These maps are so cool. I have an art book of worlds I created for stories I was writing when I was younger (in middle school, high school) and I still create maps for settings now, though not as often. Each new story had a new map. It was so much fun creating the settings for the stories. I created everything from lakes, rivers, mountain ranges, continents and islands, and the dots marking the locations of cities, though not the individual roads. It was such a relaxing and fun thing to do. Your road maps look amazing! I am sorry you did not grow up in a household that really supported your creativity and talent. Keep making these maps! Don’t let anyone convince you that making these maps is strange, because it isn’t strange at all. If it helps you relax and gives you joy, do it.

@cityplannermismanages those maps are gorgeous, i hope you have a long and fruitful career as a cartographer if nothing else, as for your loved ones worrying about you having autism, as someone with it myself, it's not so much having it that's worrying, as it is how others will react to you having it, people are intolerant shits that LOVE to judge people for any reason, even if you aren't "different" per-se, people are cruel and will look for any opportunity to tear a pure soul down per rule 43 of the internet: the more beautiful and pure a thing is, the more satisfying it is to corrupt it. stay safe and be well, and keep making those gorgeous maps :D

I’m glad you are taking courses that incorporate what you love to do!!!! May I add an observation about city’s and towns? So frequently the topography is blatantly ignored, people build in low areas and are confused why they flood. I often think of a future where we incorporate natural lows in how we manage water run off while keeping as much green wild spaces in tact.
