Been on doffy every set since op01, always love to see more people on him. I've played alot of 07 on the sim and our lists were very similar, however, as much as I love 1c law blocker, I swapped both for 2 extra red roc. I think red roc is far too important. Removing things like stussy and gecko to slow down their tempo before you drop 10c kaido. I also think rush usopp is fun, but the new perfume event feels like it fills a very similar role of helping you end games, but much cheaper and EXTREMELY strong into B/Y luffy. Obviously it's all personal preference in the end. But If you haven't, at least give a try to 3 grav blade 3 red roc, I think it feels very solid

@wimmiebear I'm running 3 kaido 2 boa, I think boa is really good, but kinda situational. Also helps removing searchers in lucci so they can't use stussy effect for free basically. But I think vanilla statline that also stops an attack can't be fully passed up. Also makes a great target for the event that makes warlords unblockable, since she's the biggest warlord in the deck in terms of power!

I like Boa because she helps your gameplan of staying healthy for your 10 drop Kaido with that freeze of hers. Since it's on play, they can't do anything about it even if they get her off the board next turn. Should they not, swinging 8k with no DON commitment is nice. You like to play on the even curve, if I re-call from one of your past videos to drop Kaido sooner. She fits into that curve and curves well into the 8 DON turn with Gravity Blade as well. I don't know. I just like the card, lol While I do understand preferring to use leader ability + 3 cost Doflamingo on turn 6, this is a nice alternative play as well depending on the board state. Plus, with RP Law and Lucci around, your blocker is probably going to get blown up anyways before you can get value out of it's block. For other match ups however, I do see him being more important than dropping a Boa early game. She also drops 9c Zoro from annihilating you since we can't get rid of it with Gravity blade and if he swings the following turn it's going to be devastating. Very nice to freeze 8c Moria, 8c Kid, 10c Doflamingo, 8c Issho and Kaido in the mirror! So I believe she has her applications. I'm glad you're at least open to trying her out more to see if you like her. Great video!

Can you speak normally instead of doing this weird fake voice molesting my ears "Pile shuffling makes it so the cards are randomized" sorry but that's not true. It doesn't randomize at all, real shuffling shouldn't be able to be reversed. Also, you can't force your opponent to shuffle a certain way, especially not pile shuffle. They are only obligated to sufficiently randomize the deck. Mash and riffle shuffling is best.

I have a question regarding the use of a die in order to keep track of your top deck altering effects. Isn’t this considered as marking your cards/cheating due to providing an advantage in your favor? I am not really familiar with these types of rullings in this card game (for example in yugioh this is something you CANNOT do and you could even get dq’ed).

Hmm good question. In the official rules it says dice can be used to mark public information, so if you let your opponent know you’re marking your next 5 draws after playing your searcher then it’s technically public information. But I can be wrong! I’ve never thought about this as going against rules :p

What is and isn't public info is listed in the tournament rules manual, and even though it's "public" that you looked at the top five, per the game rules it isn't and you can't track it in any way. So no dice and no offset cards. But that just applies to tournaments, and I think it's a great way for new doffy players to practice when playing with friends casually

I usually go first, even with kaidos. But I don’t always get to choose. This is an awesome strat for second. Also I have red roc instead of the blade. I find this great against big mom, but I might swap out to blade for the op07 meta. Thanks for showing your thought process too. Always great to see how a top player thinks 👍
