Want to become a Self-Serve Car Wash owner and build an empire to financial freedom?
Get the step-by-step course and learn how!

Built from the ground up, this is the Car Wash Chronicles, your go-to channel to learn everything on self-serve car washes.

All the way from Australia, I was looking to escape the 9-5 rat race. Fast forward to today, I now own five of my own car washes, and continue to buy, invest, and will be uploading videos on how I did it along the way.

Ive always been into building many streams of passive income having learned from mentors like Rich Dad Poor Dad's Robert Kiyosaki. I read many finance books since the age of 15 and after chasing my other dreams from a career in the WWE and became one of Hollywoods top bodyguards to A-list celebrities I then decided to go back to what I had learnt when I was a young boy..Build many streams of income starting with the self serve car wash business.

    With the insane inflation from the terrible leadership in America, it is now $7 for 8 minutes at Crew Car wash now. Insane price for such little time.

    I am a carwash distributer in your area for both Belanger and Pdq, There is a lot of assumption even in the replies on this page about which is better and will this clean or will this scratch. The easiest answer is that it comes down to the owner/ operator. I can get a touchless car wash to clean but the operator needs to keep it that way. Most of the complaints about a touchless not cleaning are due to operators not understanding the chemistry or not wanting to pay what it costs to get there. The easiest place for operators to help their bottom line is in the chemical cost as electricity, water and sewer are somewhat fixed. Many operators will thin out the chemical to the point where it doesn't work and then their car counts start to drop as well. You end up choosing a point that is good enough as a trade off for one car in the bay for twice as long or twice the cost of chemical or is a 90% clean acceptable. In cloth washes most of the In Bay Automatics use soft neoprene almost like a wet suit and the issue with scratching is two things, one what was on the vehicle before you that is now on the cloth or how long since it was cleaned and are they using the correct soap, again cutting corners on the soap causes problems. I believe that in one of your other videos you showed your entry unit and it may have been a wash select 2 or a portal, the wash select 2 is toward the end of its life cycle and the portal has replaced it as Unitec's stand alone entry unit. The c-start you were looking at at both of the locations in this video are a stripped down model similar to the portal for gas stations or anywhere that doesn't want or require the extra features of a portal, Both are made by Unitec so it is very similar to what you have. In the world or in bay automatics traditionally the big three have been ryko, mark 7 and Pdq. feel free to message me if you have any questions.

    This is the first video I have seen of you and it's 2 years old. Why are you listening to a blow hard KING . If he is a King Bajillionair then why is he f****g around with you tube? He's a prancing rooster. And yea just put all that equipment on the curb. What a great business plan. Never heard you ask the question WHY is that location dead? I think the vending machines are empty for a reason. Also you raised NO concern that the owners riveted steel plates to the change machine. I'll take it ...SOLD to the Aussie.

    I love to see all the soap. I would've washed out the wash brush with the high pressure soap before using them to wash the car and to get the tires washed.

    I have 15 years experience working at that type of car wash. Honestly you would probably have to put everything brand new or semi-used and charge $8 a car wash because if you charge any more than that you're not going to make any customers but you will make your money back. It will take you about a year so $8 a car wash for a regular $10 for the middle and if they want the ultimate 15 bucks which includes armor All on the dash and tires

    CCTV machine should be rack mounted and secured up on the wall along with the screen. Clean up and re do the shower and toilet facilities , make a kitchen (small) Staff will take pride in their work when their environment is clean and of high standard. My OCD , I would last 5 mins of working there before I started doing the improvement my self. it's kinda fun to be honest seeing the end result.

    Here is what you need to understand about a touchless wash. You need three things to properly wash any car, water (for obvious reasons), friction (to loosen/remove the dirt) and chemicals ( to dissolve and dislodge the grim/dirt). If you have any one of the above three missing, you will need more of the other two. So in a touchless wash you have no Friction therefore you need harsher chemicals to dislodge and remove the grim/dirt. This is terrible on the paints finish and will erode clear coat finishes over time in addition to dulling the paint. You car will also not be as clean as despite the use of harsher chemicals (very harsh), without the agitation of the soft cloths to dislodge the grim, it tends to remain on the car. Hope this helps.

    I do not understand why you operators cant not understand why making videos showing how much money you have onsite is a good thing. Having been in the carwash repair industry for over 30 years I can tell you all you really have done is put an idea in criminals heads, and these people will do 20k worth of damage for 2 dollars.

    The Quarter for 40 seconds isn't that bad of an idea.... Maybe you just want to spray off your floor mat from a spilled drink. Or spray out the bed of a truck or uHaul rental trailer. When you aren't looking to do a true "wash"... Just rinse & go. Versus needing to spend $5 just to get the system started (here in my city that's the average).

    I’m looking at a 6 bay that appears to have suddenly closed locally but have not contacted owner yet. What is the average revenue per bay and vacuum on a carwash that has all your upgrades?

  • @BayouBrit
    @BayouBrit18 күн бұрын

    I've been told the national average is around $1200/bay/month. But if you're the best in town, you have good chemicals, and your equipment works consistently, you could be looking at $4000-$4500/bay/month. Based on conversations with distributors so take that with a pinch of salt
