Your video inspired me to try again with my Viltrox 13/1.4 Z. Drag and drop worked as you described, but the DeviceInformation.txt file on the les still reports "SoftwareVersion = v1.03", and NOT the version 1.0.5 that I downloaded and dragged and dropped into the lens. VILTROX FAIL?

Great tutorial! I like the fact that Fuji’s HDR function doesn’t mess with shadows because I can pull out any shadow detail in post. I love Fuji’s JPEGs (and HEIF). I never shoot Raw. Until now I’ve not used FR or HDR settings - I’ve always set the highlights settings a bit lower. If I play around with highlight AND shadow settings I get messy results. So I might use HDR having seen your excellent tutorial.
Chris, please help me… I’ve had the Fuji X-T5 for a few months now and still can’t seem to save my custom settings. Is there a solution??? 😩 The ‘save the changes’ & ‘reset the changes’ options are greyed out.
Can u show how to clean the body?
I have an Instax Mini 40 which off course is not my main camera, so when I use it I carry it with the other camera, a Fuji X-S20 by the way, so this size is a no for me. I don't have a camera bag so big to carry it 😅
Sorry for the offtopic, but I think this is the right place where I can get answers:) I have recently purchased X-S10 and wonder how to access exposure compensation settings in it. Other models have a dedicated dial for it, but X-S10 doesn't. And I guess X-S20 as well. I have tried searching for the answer on KZread, but no luck. Maybe I checked wrong videos:) Would really appreciate your tips!
Im having problems using BBF with my 56mm lens at the minute. It can be really slow to find focus compared to when I use the shutter. There are no problems with my 23 and 18mm lenses. Do you have any idea what the problem might be?
Why to buy this big and ugly camera, when you may have just smaller instax printer connected to your Fujifilm camera or mobile phone? And question - can this camera also work as instax printer? I mean to connect to that with phone having an app installed and print or with another Fujifilm camera. if it works lika this, then I would understand to buy this as instant printer with ability to take pictures too.
fucking crazy how this is the best f-log beginner intro ive ever seen
Thanks man you are right on point every single time. Proud.🎉 xs20 owner now
lol. you are branching into comedy! 😆
Do i need to use the usbc to usb or the hdmi to usb
EDIT: I found the problem, I was using a Sony USB-C Cable with a splitter for a headphone jack to charge via USB-c and have headphone output thought 1 USB-C and this cut out the powerdelivery while running the camera even coming from the wall charger. Original question was : Why can´t it be simple.. I have an XS10 and I want to continuesly shoot 4K connected to a powersource (should be EASY but no). You mention at 11:35 that it only works connected to a computer if USB charging settings are enabled.. why not with a wall adapter? I have the right cable, the right wall adapter and my battery is draining out while shooting...:/
Was hoping it'd have more manual options such as the mini 99. Or even better if it had the features of Lomography and Mint Instax Wide cameras
The flash is a bump, I guess a 3d printing genius will offer us a flash cap.
Does it support cfexpress type B card?

Great video
It’s weird how much better the previous model (Wide 300) is than this newer model. More controls, and customization. That’s doesn’t make much sense to me. Also, 4 AA batteries, and you can’t use rechargeables!
I just bought an X-T5, and your videos helped me a lot. Thanks!
Hey Pal you're dropping the ball man. Where's our X-T50 review?
Can’t they make it a little more complicated? This seems so logical and intuitive.
Am i the only one couldn’t fix it ?….😢
Sounds painful and exhausting that pure raw thing
Thanks for the review. The camera design is terrible and the material looks cheap. It's hard to believe that Fuji will produce this camera. It would be better if they stopped producing while they still had the chance.
Awesome video like always. What do you think about the fuji autofucs problems that seems became.a huge topic lately?
Is it the liplay2 then? because there was a LiPlay before the Evo came out
The descendants of Edwin H. Land are now thinking, "why didn't we think of this?"
has fuji lost their ways? firmware that completely destroys the autofocus?
Awesome! 👏👏
Vu ce qu'il bouffe...pas trop confiance quand même ! / Given what he eats...not too trusting anyway !
I can't believe it, it is amazing. I need this camera right away.
Interesting...but how about Fuji0 gets some more X100VIs in the hands of those that want one?
Just discovered this channel and I absolutely love your videos! They are both educational, informative and engaging at the same time! I will be recommending your channel to my friends who are new to photography
I think you missed one key design change Chris. Fuji moved the viewfinder window from the left side in the Instax wide 300 to the right side on the Instax wide 400. This is a huge negative in my book. The Instax wide 300 is very natural to use for anyone that is used to shooting the x100v or xpro series cameras. I will not be buying the wide 400 but appreciate the nice video you made about it. I am sure this camera will be a good fit for some people.
I probably won't need an Instax camera for my needs, but I still enjoyed this video nonetheless. It's interesting to see people using a piece of tech I never own or use and share their thoughts on the matter. I always learn something new from it. 😊
Thank you for a detailed explanation of the app. When using an adapted manual lens on my GFX camera I am able to focus using the focus ring on the lens. When the camera is in manual exposure mode I am can change the Aperture, Shutter Speed and ISO on the app, however as the the EVF and LCD are blacked out it is not possible to check the exposure levels as the exposure meter is not visible on the camera or app. Additional what is missing for me is the ability to pinch to zoom and enlarge the Live View to check for accurate focus.
Why not a small diffuser that clips over the flash?
Great video, Chris! :-)
It’s going to sell like bakery morning bread!
Just trying to follow this vid with my new X100VI, My Number of focus points is set to 117 and is greyed out, why is that?
I don't get why is it so much larger than the Polaroid from 30 years ago. The film is about the same size. 😅
Keep up the good work! I have learned so much about photo and especially my Fuji camera system from you! Best regards Stian.
It xT30 ii just arrived tonight and I charged the battery but it aint turning on.What should I do?
Could fuji just make an upgraded version of the mini instax evo
What focal length do you use to shoot your A roll?
A “monkey?”
How fast can I transfer the a pic to social media or being able to text it on my phone? Is there wi-fi to transfer it to my phone making the files smaller in size so it doesn’t slow down or lose quality?
