I just think it is sad to use the mathematics of physics to build nuclear bombs, as opposed to creating 100% clean energy, and such. Hiroshima and Nagasaki were destroyed, correct? A scalar can't be applied to money. A scalar is just a representation of the size of X. so to that point if multiplication is a scalar, you threat it like one and all its rules. Division is also a scale operation, just on the down vector. Maths is just convenience to be able to work with numeric values. its a function, a tool if you'd like. Just because you have a hammer, not everything's a nail. Sometimes maths doesn't work well with certain contexts, but luckily there are workarounds since we've got so many tools and functions. You just have to watch out for when the tool is not fit for the job.
