Does Wingman AI cache responses? For example, the audio response you receive for powering up or lowering landing gear doesn't really need to be generated each time, so it would be better for performance if it was already ready? Or is this what the instant commands are for?

You can predefine instant responses but we don’t cache AI replies at the moment. Interesting idea though.

@@ShipBitThanks! You could potentially save the audio responses using a hash of whatever the interpreted command was, and then simply re-use the audio of the hash matches. Could be a good way to reduce overall API calls/cost. Granted, it means less variation in responses, but personally I find predictable responses quite desirable. Could be hidden behind a setting?

used to run Voice Attack under Elite, the only problem with these apps is that you take about three four times the time with them instead of pressing a button on your HOTAS ^^; The place where Elite was useful for example is presetting power triangle, and in the heat of the battle just telling VA to set a profile, and it would quickly shift your power into the needed spectrum.

No different than Voice Attack at this point, not to mention response is slow. Needs to be much faster on response time before I would use this in game for real. Also needs to be simplified for others without computer knowledge or basic computer knowledge, to be able to use as well.

The VA part is just a tiny bit of Wingman AI can do. There are several options to lower response time significantly. gpt-4 audio input will also be a gamechanger. Yes, you have to know how to use a computer to install, customize and run a computer program.

How inconvenient, I am in the US but it defaults to the Europe region and if I want to use US I have to pay for that option!

No, you misunderstand. This region is only for Wingman Pro as provider but it you’re not using Wingman Pro as provider, the region won’t do anything. Wingman AI will use the native APIs then and they do their own load balancing and sharding.

server.exe seems to do nothing but run a command prompt in a flash then close on windows 10. I wonder what I am doing wrong?
