We have extreme vehicles in our garage. Im not a mechanic I make tshirts for a living. But watch us bring vehicles back to life and have some fun along the way.
Where are you pal ? Do you still have the fire engine.

What insurance did you get for your fire engine as I am having difficulty trying to insure a 2001 fire tender engine. Would hope to hear from you. Btw I have watched all your videos and they are amazing to watch.

It's sad that Dennis Fire and John Dennis Coachbuilders (JDC) no longer exist. My local brigade - now named Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service - used Dennis fire appliances up until Mayflower Engineering went to the wall. They then used MAN chassis for many years with JDC building the bodies. Sadly, JDC closed its factory, bringing to an end the story of the Dennis Brothers who started the company and went on to produce municipal vehicles, like dustcarts and gully emptiers, bus and coach chassis and, of course, fire appliances. The name Dennis still lives on with its refuse collection vehicles, which is now owned by Terberg, who make the bin lifting gear attached to the rear of Dennis RCVs.

You should either sell that appliance, or find a qualified pump operator. Accidents involving pumps can occur & even you will admit to being clueless. It's not a toy. You have picvked up some knowledge somewhere, but this is a fine example fo a little knowledge being a dangerous thing. I'll bet that not one piece of equipment has been standard tested? Knock off and make up.

M8, Drove Dennis most of my FS career. Sabres we had could and did 85. Not fun, but easily achievable. As they got older, they lost 10/15% of speed. Compared to a 2010 Scania, who’s brand new top speed of 72, our 2nd was still the daddy.
