Today I had the privilege to visit the RAF Museum of firefighting and meeting with Steve the owner of the wonderful collection. Hear his story in this video and the importance of enthusiasts who work endlessly to prevserve such important history. It was so overwhelming to see all the appliances in one place. We have more indepth footage coming soon on some of the appliances there so subscribe to keep updated.

It's disappointing the museum is closed to the public. I would love to visit it.

Has it reopened bc COVID is by bye
Brings back memories of my childhood, growing up on RAF bases with TACR, TACR2, Thorneycroft Nubian Majors, Scammels and the Alvis fire appliances.
Fantastic video Lawrence, I hope they can get the backing they need. It would be sad to see all that history go to waste, it deserves to be preserved... Especially by such dedicated people.
I met Steve, lovely guy,and had a look round the collection when it was based at the RAF fire fighting school atManston. A true enthusiast!
As an American, this is especially cool, because I've never seen 98% of these.

Wow i love my fire engine's this is incredible thanks for sharing
Good place to go I had a tour
Back in the late 70s a friend of mine had a Bedford OY fire engine with Aldermaston on the side. Had a short drive of it (about 2 miles). Always wondered what happened to it.
Here, here...well said and well produced. How about a go fund or similar?
Next Video: model fire engine tour? fingers crossed!
My internet dropped at “my wife bought me my 1st....... “I thought how lucky is he, then I heard model 🤣

Amazing video brilliant machines to
I Was a driver of a Dennis i was at the old fire station in the senter of chester. It was a great pump. Had a great crew of 3. The station was a very bad place to get out had big problems, the traffic was so bad. In the end traffic lights was put at each end of the road. Then it was bells at chester station. We got it to bells 🔔 going down 1 minute to be out and bules and 2 on. I drove l the pump like a nuter.
Great video, Extreme Garage.
The museum could try contact the people who own the old RAF Binbrook base as some of there old hangers have been empty for years 😎🚒🚒🚒🚒
Nice one Lawrence 👍🙂🚒
Many fire engines are red. Richard Branson's Virgin empire is red. They would make a perfect partner!
Amazing, What song is used in the intro ?
Where 1:27 is the museum so I can visit
He’s even got the 6x6 Range Rover
ClickBait-ish title...it should've read "He Collected 52 Fire Engines To Start a Museum" apart from that lil gripe, interesting video Lawrence and I hope all works out well for the museum. Keep these interesting videos of yours coming.🔥💨👍
Erm, click bait, but amazing video!
Ah the old Carmichael TACR.
Nice! :) What music name?
Would have enjoyed a look around at the trucks but....
What a shame, I once worked on nubian majors, javilins, Meators, and riv. If they were close I would have jumped at the chance to volunteer.
Dude stop the click bait titles.... I like your videos but I can’t stand click bait... you can use catchy titles without lying!

Dave White he called it “I” bought 52 fire engines. When HE didn’t. He’s changed the title now. It would be epic to see him buy that many engines and repair them all, but he didn’t...

@@ghosthost92gaming73 Wouldn't have known he even changed the title had you not brought it up. I agree that's some annoying shit with clickbait titles.

Another Clickbait is that he write, and Start 52 Fire Engines
Was there one that Looked like JUPITER from Fireman Sam?
Brought instead of bought fries my brain.
Click bait big time
You didn*t collect much car but collect alot money. Becouse your have production money.
It’s not a museum if it’s closed to the public; it’s just a shed full of fire appliances. Very sad.
Why are you putting that you bought somethings when you haven’t makes you look desperate for views turned off after a minute
