Im a dishwasher at Chili's and it's not too bad just you stay for about 12 hours. The hardest is the closing shift especially working with slow cooks when they wouldn't give you their dishes

While their chocolate is great, I would avoid Läderach like the plague. The family of the same name is well known for having christian-conservative views. They use a portion of the profits to support political campaigns, such as anti-abortion groups. And more recently, the public learned that in a Christian school co-founded by the family, violence was being used as punishment against the pupils, allegedly with their knowledge. Buying their products indirectly supports this toxic brand of christianity. Btw: Of the more widely available brands, Cailler is certainly one of the better ones.

For the most part, you don’t really need cash in Switzerland. It’s been several months since I last had to use cash and most of the time I don’t even have any cash with me. Granted, I live in a city and things may work out differently in more rural areas, but generally there are very few places that won’t accept card payments or Twint (payment app).

originally almost all swiss coins were made of silver. from 5 francs down to 1/2 francs. because their weight was equal with the worth of silver. as the value of silver dropped we made our coins using other metals. because earlyer the 1/2 frank coin in silver was more worth than the 20 rappen coin wich is biger in size (never made of silver from the beginning) the 1/2 franc coin is still smaller today. even when they are made from the same alloy today. in the 1980ies the 5 rappen coins (like cents) that were made in silver looking metal were changed in yellow looking metal because they often were mistaken for the 1/2 franc coins. because of theyr similar size and looks.

Being half Filipino, you should try Jollibee. Specifically (peach mango pie, jolly hotdog, Hawaiian Champ Burger). Mc Donald's in the Philippines has Spaghetti because Jollibee started it (Filipino style) as fastfood, and Filipinos love it. The Mac D's here need to stay in the competition.

Some McDonalds in countries outside the US usually have items on their menu that are attuned to the tastes of the locals. For the Philippines we have the spaghetti, chicken and the rice, while in Japan they have Japanese inspired burgers and something similar to the shake-shake fries but with Japanese seasoning flavors.

After living and working in se-asia +15 years i always say "things that don't kill you , makes u stronger" and ive been eating it all in Thailand and Phillipines .. from balout to bbq monkeys to anteggs worms and bugs to my favorite beer snack: fried frogs with bbq spice and chili=)
