Hey, thanks for the insights! 2 things i'd love a comment on; A) did the raiders treat you right besides the mentioned stuff? (Unjustified departure from christian, sending him home on the 31.) B) can you sign for another team? There is some twitter threat coming to the conclusion: the raiders can hold your contract for two more weeks. That would mean the 3 game ban after leaving a team would leave you unsigned at the deadline. I have no knowledge if this is how it works and would be gratefull if you could clear it up! Cheers, and all the best, it is/was a joy watching the both of you on weekends

I hated seeing this and a lot of the turnover of imports in ELF. Why would I ever wanna go to a league that you’re gonna go out there for a week then get cut because your team is ass and doesn’t allow you to perform….stuff that’s out of control. You’re across the world and the only thing you got is the organizations that are unstable and not loyal. Loyalty is big. As an import it’s everything.

Real sh*t, everyone leaves their home and jobs with no guarantees or big paycheck just to play this game and these team’s treat players like they’re nothing.

@@SupaTraxHD it's a business. It is about what is best for the team and not about you. You might be a great player in general but maybe not the right fit for the team. The team ows you nothing. Im not trying to compare it to the NFL but just look at the business aspect of it. You get signed by an nfl team and get cut a week after. It just is what it is. When talking about the ELF. It's a startup. A new league. Im not saying everything is great and obviously they need to improve but if you think you are such a great player and have other job opportunities why would you even consider to go to a European league. Let's break it down. If it's your dream to play in the nfl or cfl, you need film for that. That's the reason to go to europe! Just my two cents of this topic. Like it or not, but that's just how it is. I think people are complaining too much. What do you even expect. For most guys in Europe football is just a hobby. the sport is starting to get big over here but its miles away from what is in the states.

@@SupaTraxHD there’s a lot of imports that don’t do things right and that’s why they get let go but for people like Christian and Jarvis that are great players and people it’s just not the move. I’ve heard import bad stories from the organizations I’ve played for this year and I wonder how imports can go to the other side of the world and be problematic with drugs, partying, character issues when a team is paying you to experience living in another country and play ball

@@JrzSaiyan oh no I agree if it’s for bad behaviour or bad performance then I get it. But there’s a lot of unprofessionalism or not sticking to terms of contracts out here in Europe

@@a1rwav3r business aspect I get, if they didn’t need an import position that they picked up because they identify another weakness on the team that needs to be addressed yes of course, bad behavior or performance sure but that’s not what’s happening. Not honoring contracts, unprofessionalism, and especially starting up they need to allow the teams and league to grow. Team chemistry, player chemistry, you should know what it takes to have a successful organization just by watching who is in the NFL and who’s not. Can’t expect things to change in a Week. You’re comparing it to the NFL which is okay but it’s not the NFL my man. It’ll keep growing but they need to fix things and people won’t want to play in a league like this if it continues down this path

My thing is we cant down play the fact that this is similar to the NFL because its far from it. Its wild being an import and the blame goes on you. Jarvis and Christian didnt even under perform, no everyone wasnt perfect but lets not pretend like Strong wasnt performing each and every week. When I played in the states they didnt even cut guys like this or made as many roster changes as this unless it was injury or numbers related. Its wild how they dont understand the game yet would say "Youre not good enough to play in the ELF" when the difference of elf competition is far from else where outside.

Good video and all respect to you guys as athletes. But you gotta stop being so pretentious - it’s business. Of course you’re the star receiver if Strong’s always searching for you at the field…Why would anybody fight for someone who is leaving 50 men behind? that’s fucking delulu. Lack of promises or not, your job is to perform. You were imported to perform. Yes, Strong is good on paper (stats) but did anyone watch the actual games? You decided for yourself to leave so take it like a man! You can’t lie to yourselves 🙏🏼

Nah some of these takes on here are wild. First of all, quit whining. Some of these imports are spoiled brats. You are playing in a pro league, you can get cut anytime. Just look at the big show. You're by far the highest paid employees in these organizations. You're expected to go above and beyond. Second of all, the Raiders (most successful teams, really) are a great organization and always are loyal to their imports and keep them around for years and years if you perform (Shelton, Wise, Donahue, etc) and then are more than happy to give you a job in the staff after you retired. Some of these imports care more about travelling, their immature youtube channels, insta stories and partying and hooking up with chicks than actually putting in the work. Jarvis himself was complaining non stop on his channel: wha wha its always raining, wha wha not much to do here, wha wha I have to go the facility every day. Doesn't exactly reek of someone who did their research and shows a lack of professionalism. To those saying "they don't understand the game over there" most coaches are from the US, so yeah. Your logic doesn't check out. If an imports gets the boot, in 99% of the cases its their own damn fault because they just didn't take it seriously enough or weren't good enough in the first place. Strong wasn't good enough, plain and simple. Stats can be deceiving, he had the best WR corps in the league and still didn't perform or gel in the system, except for some dump offs and the occasional deep ball to Jarvis. And looking at his social media, dude comes across as a big man child who didn't take things serious enough. And yes, he did force the ball to Jarvis, even when other options were there. Not surprising, that there were complaints. The difference between him and Shelton is night and day. Shelton was a leader on and off the field. Strong is...not. No coincidence I think, that those 2 bounce around to different teams and leagues year after year and can never settle anywhere. The Raiders have been around for 30+ years. They're not some hinkydinky startup franchise. They know their shit. Generations of imports have come and gone and have been nothing but happy. Some even stayed and settled in Austria. They play in one of the best stadiums, have an entire training facility for themselves. Treat their players right. They have dozens of coaches, physical therapists, they have maybe the best knee doc in all of Europe as their team doc, etc. So saying the Raiders are not treating their imports correctly is just a flat out lie. Jarvis quit on his own. He abandoned his team. As a coach, hell nah, I wouldn't fight for a guy like this. Whats the point. You quit and left the team behind. Out of loyalty to a dude who wasn't good enough. That might be commendable as a friend. Its not as a professional ball player. Its always the losers that act out and complain afterwards.
