  I drove up there on 10/13/23. Went on hurricane gap rd to rich mtn road arriving at rich mtn fire tower in pitch blackness of night. It is very spooky looking up there after the sun sets.

  Dear Ms Heinaman, you do not live here in Elizabethton nor does your pathetic freedom from religion organization, you do not speak for those of us that do, and you have no right to tell us to take down anything! You have your right to not believe in Jesus Christ and go to Hell that is your right and your choice, for those of us that do believe that is also our rightband our choice. As far as the true spirit of Christ in us, we do not hate you just hate what your trying to do and do not wish for you to die and go to a real and horrible hell forever but we can only pray for you and believe me I have already begun to pray for you and those in your organization because the love of the father is in me. You nor anyone else has the right to tell us what we can erect in honor of our God anymore than we can tell you how you should believe..you otmr they don't like our crosses, don't visit or look at the pictures of them, stop watching the video of them if you don't like them simple as that. Maybe you will luck out and Satan will blow on some of the tormenting flames for eternity its your choice just remember that, said with love and concern and emphatic about how we feel on the matter.   These crosses that have the "JESUS IS LORD" sign are the ones on private property isn't it ? There are two sets of three crosses in our town and we Love em both, protest against any of them taken down they have been there for years

  Yes. The crosses and banner in the video are on private property and not the ones on Lynn Mountain. The FFR group is lying and presenting false information. They also stole my image and are using it on their site without permission.

  Great video of compression✨ and middle falls✨but you never flew the drone up to twisted falls which is the best jump spot and is just one more corner above middle falls😉

  I hiked that many times years ago, when there were RR ties on the second bridge from the top It looks like you were there in the fall. Found copperhead's laying up against the rails for warmth. Kayaked the river many times

  The leaf colors are beautiful, especially at the 3:45 mark. Were there 2 different trestles in this video? One looked as if there was no wood left on it. I'm familiar with the one that still had some wood if you're approaching from the DRG campgrounds and Pardee Point. Thanks!

  Yes, there are 2 different trestles. They are very close to each other. Doe River Gorge tunnel #4 is in between them. One of the trestles has the supporting structure below the deck and one has it above the deck (that is the one with no wood).

  Ive known about these crosses and sign literally my whole life from day one as far back as i can possibly remember considering my mom had a trailer directly below it across the river rite below the mountain there on when I was born up till I was rite around 3 years old my brother was a teen at the time tho so maybe he went up there some and knows the those benches or picnic tables are there

  Now that's what you call a water hazard on a golf course. My son showed me some of the flooding by the Y, he was like "Guess i'm not going today." Thanks for posting this view of the flooding.

  Thank you so much for posting this beautiful vid. This is my family cemetery on my mom's side of the family "The Napier's" My folks are buried there back to my great grandmother. The homecoming we attend every year is coming up next month I have so many memories of my family gathering there with friends and neighbors they grew up with in the valley. We'd have "dinner on the ground" as we called it that was before there was a shelter and then go to my mamaw Napier's and the kids would play softball, tag, hide'n seek and then go back to church that evening at Barker's chapel. I'm so thankful you've preserved this place and given me a way to share a part of me with folks that may never see it. Thank you again!!!
