At 2,329' elevation atop the Clinch Mountain range in Hawkins County TN, Little War Gap fire tower would have provided a clear view of the surrounding area. It was built in 1947 along with a cabin for the watchmen right on the top of a rocky outcrop. If you drive along Rt 70 from Rogersville you can't miss it as you top the mountain.
