In 1356 he lead an attack on the city of Brussels which had been occupied by the Count of Flanders (Brabant and Vlaanderen were 2 different countries back then) , defeated the enemy and liberated the city. Nope it’s a pressure relief valve for a tight ,springy Cascadia SubductionZone in the PNW. THE MAIN MAGMA chamber is actually under Stanley, Idaho!

I grew up in Southern California as a teenager in Newport Beach. The San Francisco bands came through our area to perform. So glad I was able to see most of them : as I’ve said at other posts about that era , we didn’t consider it as us making history, it was just what we did. A reaction or response to what was going on around us. It’s my favorite era of music, still play it …. often and loud.

The exhibit was great! Of course it was only an exhibit of artifacts, images and sounds...it's impossible to replicate an era or event..but it was well done, well laid out and informative from beginning to end. The light show room was fun and the posters were my favorite. The accompanying book is amazing. Those of us who were there during that time are lucky to have experienced such a high time; it will never happen again. The good parts were absolute magic.Thanks!
