Potpourri Florence - A wedding and protest rally

Florence potpourri collections; defined as a mixture of seemingly unrelated items in an unusual assortment.
A wedding and a protest rally. One of the oldest churches in Florence was next to where we stayed. We heard music outside our hotel room window. It was coming from that church and it was a wedding, open to the public.
We came upon a rally to protest the high cost of living. The rally ended in the the most Renaissance square in Florence; the Piazza Santissima Annunziata. This is where Filippo Brunelleschi built the Hospital of the Innocents, considered the first Renaissance building. It was his first architectural commission; his second commission was for the dome of the Duomo, one-third of a mile southwest.
