Hi Paul you are the best
I just got a rebel T7 for Mother’s Day . I enjoy watching your channel . I’m trying to learn how to take photos of me and my husband on the beach
2:40! oooh!
Wish I could get less blurr with my 2 Canon cameras and I'm not sure how to program them both really or maybe some good general all round settings to try. on both mind you that could be tricky I guess with lighting and weather conditions..
Great review - I'm a birding photographer - but it just left me wanting more. For example - can I use the Priority Subject meant for people - for birds?
"IF" everyone had a lens like that they could get great photos ...
Do not do business with this company! They are extortionists and cheats!
Woody everyone great review top camera
Thank you Paul for another brilliant KZread.
Im no expert but i've noticed one thing while everyone abuses the system at their own advantage. While people were complaining all over the place that you can't get BIRDS IN FLIGHT photos with the GFX 100 II + 500mm new lens, only if they're stationary here comes Canon to publish a successfull advertising vid about bird photography where absolutely no bird was flying 😂 and all the "experts" are happy go figure. But how do you know how good the AF is, where the GFX failed so miserably if the birds here are stationary? I'm not a fan of any brand, i have canon, sony, and the AF may be a lot faster on canon vs GFX but...isn't this world some sht? Btw, i don't mean to disrespect, great video for what it is you did a good job. I was just calling for some justice in the fanboys world. 🎉🎉
This is a great video Paul! Your communication was very easy and clear to understand and I really appreciated how you just got straight to the point as videos like this can usually be very boring. Also thank you for incorporating visuals into your videos as these are extremely helpful. Thank you :)
I tried shooting at night.what mode I need to use
Looking forward to your full review when the R5 II finally comes out and pls address how you set up your AF with back button features - Thanks !
I have a Canon T7 which flash accessory should I purchase?
How bright should be the monitor?
I have been using Snapseed for years now. It’s a fantastic app for editing photographs.
Image stabilisation has become insanely good…Canon shooter who managed to get Fujix100vi…trying to do ICM at 1/15th….was getting almost sharp images…had to turn it off to get the effect I wanted…
So, theres a live histogram in a camera, but should we take a picture when the live histogram assumes a good shape? Which shape it should be? Moving to the right for future lightroom editing? What if we adjust the camera settings to achieve a good histogram without future editing on lightroom? How the histogram should be look like? Thx
Too much useless talk... Bla... Bla... Bla... Bla... Bla... ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz... Ahummmmmmm,,,,,,,,
Thank you. I loved this lesson, I learned so much.
I just wanted to say thank you. I purchased my Nikon d5200 from a pawn shop and no manual. It came with a 55-300 zoom and i purchased a 500-1000 mm You answered all my questions on how to set up the manual shot in just this one video, can't wait to watch your other videos thank you so much sharing your knowledge and expertise. Your detailed and hands on demonstrations for me, were perfect!!. I understood how to operate it in seconds😊😊🙏 🙏 Sincerely Chris.
Thanks, I don't get the same information when reading it...
I find it odd that Canon saw fit to challenge the R1 with this camera while they hamstrung the R6 ii so it didn't steal sales from the R3. I can see many people choosing this R5 ii over a R1 so why did they protect the R3....
Thank you very much Paul for another totally brilliant KZread. Your simply the best. I’ve learnt so much through your KZread. I wished I’d been able and o meet u in person to say thank you so much..
Thank you Paul for another brilliant KZread. I wish u had a book out
Hi I have a nikon d300s and the compensation icon keeps flashing.after I take a photo it flashes error? Do you have any idea about that?thanks mal
5 second pre-record? I thought it was .5 (half) a second. Also, do you know if it now has over-bright blinkies? No one has mentioned it and I can't believe the V1 didn't have the option.
5 seconds is in video. In stills is .5 seconds.
Nightscapes are always terrific. Wish I was in Brisbane ... maybe get back one day.
All my picture blurry. I don't know n ow what happen
Congrats on getting that gig! Great opportunity, and some nice shots too.
Where's the built in ND filter? Oh, just screw it on your lens. No overheating problems either, just buy the optional extended grip. I'm really excited about 40fps, just what most of us need. It's really going to make a difference!🙂My pictures and video are going to look so much BETTER after I dump the R5 and upgrade, yeah!
I just bought myself an EOS 500D DSLR Cant wait to get started
Today I clicked mine too thanks to photo genius..
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I've had my Canon for 2 years and this is the best video for beginners. Subscribed.
A question about the pre-capture feature. I understand that it captures half-second of frames at the current burst rate when you push the shutter half-way, and when you push the shutter all the way it commits those to memory and then continues to capture sequential frames as long as you keep the shitter depressed. My questions: 1) If you do not press the shutter all the way but instead let it back up, are those frames lost or are they permanently stored?, and 2) Is there a limit (other than buffer capacity) on how long you can continue to capture images once you fully depress the shutter? I am planning on trading my OM1 for a new R5II and want to understand the differences. Thank you.
But no live histogram on zoomed photo review... no same direction delete... so crippled on expected basics. Let alone proper FEL, but that's just us - event photographers.
Thanks mate, this helps heaps!
To me, the changes made by the ambiance setting is what the dehaze does in other programs.
got no idea why canon can continuously continue to be such a loser with their gear, they put out body after body but they are doing squat in the way of affordable lenses, what is the use of having a body with no lenses to look through, the 100-500 is laughable same as the F/11's, you are ridiculous canon
R8 and Rf 100-400 f 5.6, affordable and gold. Please give it a try. I have extensively explored it, cant believe the results and overall harmony. No ibis was no issue. Just grab multiple batteries to overcome the annoyances.
I am 64 years old and recently got bitten by the photography bug after a friend gifted me his old Canon T5. This video is so informative. I knew nothing about any of this. Now I will start tinkering. Thank you.
Thank you Photo Genius.
8k 60p ONLY Sraw, or mp4😂🤣😂🤣😂
Paul thank you again I’ve learnt so much more from you, plus u put it into practice too.
Hi Paul, you're one of the first to explore the R5 II wildlife capability, thanks a lot for that! What I am absolutely keen on to see is if the hybrid camera (i.e. video) has enhanced for wildlife. Is the eye controlled AF also available in video mode or switched off like in the R3? Is the AF case setup disappeared like in photo mode or what's up on this hybrid side of the camera? Which slow motion speeds will be available in HQ downsampled 4K from 8K? The 5 seconds pre-capture and CLOG2 are IMHO the only feature that are really a highlight from the feature list, but overheating seems to be a real issue when using slow motion. 15 to 25 minutes in 120P is nothing when having a wildlife session in standby waiting for the one-and-only action to happen. So there remains plenty of room to explore the R5 II, what do you think? KR Ralf
great video, i still find sometimes im doing manul focus or auto focus the shot still comes out blurry and i have used the selection button you have said. Im using a canon camera. sometimes ive taken so many phots with this camera and its always hit and miss but now finding it needs to be fixed. any help would be awesome sauce.
I think I'm a pro now. Haha, ur awesome dude. I have the same model camera, I wanna start photography classes but it costs to much. I'll just learn following u
How much the cost and which lens are compatible.thx
Heh, that snake looked like something that you would find here in South Texas, but ours have big loud rattles on them.
