  I recently built 2014 SSE to brilliant bike it had only been ridden about 10 miles then put in a garage for 10 years.. I’ve now done about 300 miles on it in 2 weeks 😊 ❤ you made an awesome job on this one dude well done 🚴🏻👍😊🚴‍♀️ Pete

  That’s great! What colour is that one? I’ve got a green one with Ultegra. I’ve not used for a bit to because I’ve been using various mountain bikes I’ve been building up but I will get back out on it and get some miles back in.

  It’s a Matt grey with white decals.. I love Campagnolo so built with the chorus 11 speed runs like a dream 😊❤

  I was able to buy a "virtually" new BV SE last year. Still with original tyres from '95! But now with Race King ;) It's a first-class "Mini Gravel". It will always remain in the collection :) As a teenager I always wanted a Marin, but I couldn't afford it...

  Do love a ball burnished Zaskar all polished up, lovely build. I'd leave the saddle but change the Marin tyres. 👍

  It's a a 90's mountain bike so a good old fashioned 11-28. Most likely combined with a 22-32-42 up front but I'd have to double check :-)

  Yeah not on this one. I do that on rebuilds but this was stuff I had already hanging about so they were clean and ready to go. I’ll try and find a nice dirty bike for next time! 😊

  Nothing special this one but the frame has just been hung in the garden doing nothing. I thought I'd give it a cleanup, see what parts I have in the bin and try and make up an 'ok' bike for pretty much no cost. How do you think it turned out?

  Loved these Zaskars. Had one just like this in 98. It’s one of the few I wish I still had. Great video! Keep up the good work 👍🏼

  @@toddzachary4891 I never had one back then but they always caught my eye in the magazines. Think at that time I had a Raleigh Dynatech or Stumpjumper. Might have changed to the Stumpjumper that year 🤷🏼‍♂️ Was a long time ago!

  What do you do with the bikes once they’re built ? And how can you tell the difference between a Zaskar and a Avalanche? Good job on the forks also.

  Thanks for your comment. Some bikes are not mine, some I keep and some are moved on to make way for more builds. The 96 Zaskar and Avalanche are really similar looking frames but the Avalanche is 7000 aluminium whereas the Zaskar is 6061. This number is stamped inside of the rear dropout.

  @@bikerebuilder i am aware there is copy right issues with tunes, i cant judge your skill, (by the way you obviously know what you are doing) but from a prespective looking at the clip, i will have sound all the way , please check out 129ers , there is some great background sounds you can edit into your future clips

  Awesome build! It's certainly a nice saddle, a straight black GT saddle may look cleaner. I'd be tempted to try some Panaracers blue or maybe even yellow stripe if it were mine :)

  Very nice, what a lovely machine. There's certainly something so satisfying and a real sense of achievement when stripping, cleaning, fixing and tinkering with old bikes. I just wish it was more lucrative. :)

  The bottom bracket shell width is 73mm and British threads but the axle length will be dependent on what crankset you are fitting 👍🏻
