    You’re absolutely correct. This situation with the Francis Scott Key Bridge is a broken “key” in many ways. It is a major step towards an economic civil war between North and South, as Maryland is a border state along the Mason-Dixon Line. One example - Question: What state capital is affected by Port of Baltimore closure? Answer: Harrisburg, PA. Pennsylvania is the “Key”stone State.

  • @JoshSmith-wo7zw
    @JoshSmith-wo7zw3 ай бұрын

    Their gonna be forced to go the long way around the beltway. So instead of it taking 15 to 20 minutes going over the bridge its gonna be more like an hour and a half 2 hours. Traffic is gonna get alot worse.

  • @boondoggle4820
    @boondoggle48203 ай бұрын

    I was thinking about that too. What was a 15 minute drive could easily turn into hours if they have to drive the entire loop of the beltway especially during rush hour. I live in Baltimore County and when I went to the grocery store today, you could see that they were out of a lot of items in a way that I've never seen before.

    In the UK ,the Farmers would put a second fuel tank in the Land Rover. The tank that the police would find would have normal Diesel in, but the other tank will have Agricultural (Red) diesel. The Customs and Excise, or ,police will check the fuel tank, and also inside of the engine, to make sure that you are using the correct diesel.

  • @alpurl
    @alpurl4 ай бұрын

    Yeah, dyed fuel is intended for off-road use only. In 2007, there was a distinction between low sulfur diesel fuel with sulfur content lower than 200 ppm and ultra low sulfur diesel fuel with sulfur content less than 15 ppm. In 2007, all new highway engines were required by the epa to use ultra low sulfur diesel. I believe at this point, all diesel is of the ultra low sulfur variety and other additives have been found to add to the fuel to compensate for the lack of sulfur content in older engines that might need it. Non highway fuels do not have the highway fuel taxes included in the price, hence the lower fuel cost. Because of this, dye is added to the fuel. Yes, at tgis piint in time, the fuel dye, fuel inspection, and fines are all about tax revenue. Nothing else. Born free, taxed to f*cking death. The IRS is a state sponsored domestic terror organization.

    In UK this is common practice to be checked, Due to the fact that red diesel(gas oil) is none tax able. Used for construction/farming/industrial machinery. Fridges trailers engines use red.

    Not to be too much in your mix bro but do you lease or finance your truck or no note on it at all? That plays a big role into whether or not that take home is “good”. I’m thinking about moving to H-Town to do this as an owner op but would be financing a used day cab.

    Any tractor-trailer experience should count. So if you want to go food service route then go for it. Otherwise I would try a starter company (mega carrier) and get your experience in that way too.

  • @jayseandon
    @jayseandon5 ай бұрын

    If you wanna do OTR you should have no problem lol. People give OTR in mega carriers like it’s nobody business. Pay is usually ass though unless you’re lucky. Local is the problem to grab without experience. That’s my predicament but I’m biting the bullet doing regional for experience
