Al's Kitchen

Al's Kitchen

My passion for preparing and enjoying tasty food has driven me to create this channel and to share with you recipes and secrets that i have learned over the years. Food has always been a joy to me, whether eating out or at home, the objective has always been the same for me, to eat tasty food, that looks good and is easy to create.

It's my pleasure to share recipes that are favourites of mine both growing up and in adulthood.

I've been cooking for over 20 years now and know exactly what I like. It is these dishes i wish to share with you. So welcome to Al's Kitchen. It would be my joy to create a following of food lovers from all over to come together on KZread in my Kitchen.

Food should be fun and enjoyable to cook and eat.

Welcome

Bon Appetite

Think if you cut the branch end off the tomato too when cutting in half. Skin falls off?

If I lived next door to Al, I'd complain to the council about the smell, the noise, or anything else I could think of, unless he passed a bowl-full over the fence.

Looks lovely, we as a family watch all your videos and have tried lots of your recipies. We've been wanting to ask, our local indian takeaway does a curry (special) called Shahi Tukra , it's amazing but can't find a recipie anywhere for it, wondered if you'd heard of it and if you have a recipie? Thanks

Get a decent PH neutral shampoo to wash the car in. You can also top it up with a ceramic spray. Yum cars do some nice stuff. What car do you drive? ❤

Hey Al. To easily remove the skins for pre-cook prep, cut a cross in the bottom of the tomatos and drop them in boiling water for a few seconds. The skin should peal off easily where you cut it.

Greetings from Sydney - Looking forward to trying this! With your car leave it for at least a week. Use a ph neutral shampoo (I use Maguire Gold) - best tip rinse the car then wash it 2 bucket method and rinse again - I do a quick dry with a blower then use a good quality microfibres drying towel - comes up fantastic!

I've been doing this for a few years now. We call it 'Madinloo' because It's only when you go to the loo that you realise how mad you were for eating it. It's a lot more potent than your recipe, but the taste is brill!

Leave the car for a week. Then use a decent shampoo like Bilt Hamber Auto Wash. Get a proper drying towel and use two bucket wash method to avoid creating swirl marks.

Also asked the question via Facebook...do you have advice for those of us who love your curries, but can't take very high heat levels? Better just to avoid these recipes? Or can we still get a good experience by cutting back on chillies/Chilli powder/Mr Naga?

Hey Al Great Video. I will DEFO give this a go. Thanks for your recommendation on the SQ Professional NEA Die-Cast Aluminium pot you are using , its Brilliant for the price, and big enough to batch cook. Ok you asked about Ceramic car shampoo, well I have tried many.... My Favourite is 100% 'Auto Finesse Caramics Enhancing' To be honest all there product are Ace. Just make sure its PH Neutral shampoo and you will be fine. Did you do it yourself..? Did you do a decontamination on paintwork, as in Clay Bar and Iron fallout removal.? Cars and Curry is in my blood.. Keep Your Vids coming.

In regards the car Al. Leave it AT LEAST 3/5days minimum but it depends on the coating used. Snowfoam with a good quality product BiltHamber is best and great quality. Then was as normal with a good neautral PH shampoo and 2 bucket method
