My passion for preparing and enjoying tasty food has driven me to create this channel and to share with you recipes and secrets that i have learned over the years. Food has always been a joy to me, whether eating out or at home, the objective has always been the same for me, to eat tasty food, that looks good and is easy to create.
It's my pleasure to share recipes that are favourites of mine both growing up and in adulthood.
I've been cooking for over 20 years now and know exactly what I like. It is these dishes i wish to share with you. So welcome to Al's Kitchen. It would be my joy to create a following of food lovers from all over to come together on KZread in my Kitchen.
Food should be fun and enjoyable to cook and eat.
Welcome
Bon Appetite

Looks fantastic. I’ll try it this weekend. Love this type of recipe much more than a base one 👍🏻
Think if you cut the branch end off the tomato too when cutting in half. Skin falls off?
As a food critic, John sucks....🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
If I lived next door to Al, I'd complain to the council about the smell, the noise, or anything else I could think of, unless he passed a bowl-full over the fence.
VinDras????? .......Brilliant.
Looks lovely, we as a family watch all your videos and have tried lots of your recipies. We've been wanting to ask, our local indian takeaway does a curry (special) called Shahi Tukra , it's amazing but can't find a recipie anywhere for it, wondered if you'd heard of it and if you have a recipie? Thanks
OMG 'be on this at the weekend it looks spot' on cant wate to get at it' love all your 30min currys
I will be getting the ingredients ASAP... That Al looked awesome. PS. Love the garden.
Hi I have apple cider vinegar and distilled malt vinegar will that do
Get a decent PH neutral shampoo to wash the car in. You can also top it up with a ceramic spray. Yum cars do some nice stuff. What car do you drive? ❤
Love the garden, or is it a green screen?
Real Garden 👍
Hey Al. To easily remove the skins for pre-cook prep, cut a cross in the bottom of the tomatos and drop them in boiling water for a few seconds. The skin should peal off easily where you cut it.
What is mix powder
Greetings from Sydney - Looking forward to trying this! With your car leave it for at least a week. Use a ph neutral shampoo (I use Maguire Gold) - best tip rinse the car then wash it 2 bucket method and rinse again - I do a quick dry with a blower then use a good quality microfibres drying towel - comes up fantastic!
Great tip!
Right cooking this tonight , thanks Al
Al, what brand is that red pot. I like it.
SQ Professional. Links in the description
Al this looks mind blowing I was sat watching it last night and due to fly out to Majorca for 2 weeks now frustarated that I cant make it!!!!! (The dish not holiday) first thing on my list once I return!!
Is that Arne Slot?1
I've been doing this for a few years now. We call it 'Madinloo' because It's only when you go to the loo that you realise how mad you were for eating it. It's a lot more potent than your recipe, but the taste is brill!
Bottled olive oil is carcinogenic as f when heated , its oxygenated from the air gap in the bottle its spent approx 2 yrs in.. Fresh pressed you want .
Oh yeah!
You’re a genius Al, plus your foliage is lush!
i was looking forward to this one, then out came Satan's plums. Can we replace the evil bastards with passata or puree?
Mad Vinnie
Any particular Garam Massala as some brands makes the dish tase of soap
Might as well just use 2 cans chopped tomatoes
Fresh are less acidic
I'm going to rename this dish.... The Luther
Love your videos Al. My local place does a chicken balti silsila which I can't get enough of... Have you ever made one of these?
Madloo would have been a better name 😂😂😂 Al, that drop of naga oil will have zero effect .... put at quarter spoon in at least. I have a friend who spreads it on toast like jam....he's a bit unique though....
Thanks for the tip
Leave the car for a week. Then use a decent shampoo like Bilt Hamber Auto Wash. Get a proper drying towel and use two bucket wash method to avoid creating swirl marks.
Also asked the question via Facebook...do you have advice for those of us who love your curries, but can't take very high heat levels? Better just to avoid these recipes? Or can we still get a good experience by cutting back on chillies/Chilli powder/Mr Naga?
Look fantastic Al (next Wednesdays curry for the good lady wife and I.) Good man and thanks for all your efforts
Can't wait to cook this one up and looking forward to more 30 min curry's (Just cooked the butter chicken again). Will you be going back to authentic in the future? Would love to see tikka lamb 😍
Hey Al Great Video. I will DEFO give this a go. Thanks for your recommendation on the SQ Professional NEA Die-Cast Aluminium pot you are using , its Brilliant for the price, and big enough to batch cook. Ok you asked about Ceramic car shampoo, well I have tried many.... My Favourite is 100% 'Auto Finesse Caramics Enhancing' To be honest all there product are Ace. Just make sure its PH Neutral shampoo and you will be fine. Did you do it yourself..? Did you do a decontamination on paintwork, as in Clay Bar and Iron fallout removal.? Cars and Curry is in my blood.. Keep Your Vids coming.
I did it myself mate and did all of the things you mentioned. Been watchin loads of pro's doing it on KZread.
@@AlsKitchen Great.. that's good. DIY is not normally what I would recommend..Nigel and I was planning to go out with you on Brick Lane for a great curry evening..
Oh and in regards the curry have you ever heard of a Shakuti? My local indian does it and its LOVELY!
Nice one Al... I live for a hot curry... I see Big John is wimping out on you... so keep me in the loop 🔥 😂
In regards the car Al. Leave it AT LEAST 3/5days minimum but it depends on the coating used. Snowfoam with a good quality product BiltHamber is best and great quality. Then was as normal with a good neautral PH shampoo and 2 bucket method
Hi Al !! I think you should do a a few videos on you making curry’s from scratch with your spice mixes!!! Always look forward to seeing your next video cheers
Why would you remove all those lovely lycopenes? Read up on their health benefits.
OMG, can't wait to try this one. Loving the authentic series Al.
Looks fabulous as per sir! Think Big John has lost his asbestos powers! 😂👌🏼X
Great work Al.
Can’t wait to try this Al🥵 And I’m soooo looking forward to the next 30 min series😛
Love the video's - 30 min curries and this shorter style of curry is bang up my street 😋
I see 240 on the induction top, is that degree celsius, farenheit, watts?
