Great video I was lucky buying most of the games for my collection when the prices were low before the announcement of the store closing and prices started rising
Thanks I’ve also been collecting for years but somehow I just keep on finding games which I need to add to my collection lol
Mafia 2 classics edition includes the extras on disc to. I built a collection of xbox backwards compatibility 360 Games last year, and was trying to find these games then, I've realised I have quite a few missing! (dlc included versions)
Thanks for the heads up I’ll have to try and grab that one soon also, really good game as well and will be good to have all the DLC

@DanTheGamesMan sadly it's the way, I do think there's a lot of hype fueling the prices at the moment and now they're only going to go up, but I think they'll dip again eventually.. hopefully!
@@pixelpaul_pxp yeah I think there will be a massive jump in prices at the end of July, possibly until the end of the year then they may stabilise, it’s depends what jumps in price next, maybe PS3?
@DanTheGamesMan quite possibly, I've seen a few jumps on the 3 recently and stock seems lower than usual (near me anyway), so it might already be on the rise!
@@pixelpaul_pxp I went to a certain CEX today and honestly, it had the biggest PS2, PS3 Xbox and Xbox 360 sections I have ever seen!
360 will be cheaper in a year once the hype is died down. Much like the 3DS
@@JimBob-vg2og yeah it’s a difficult one, I feel the Xbox 360 is much more popular and somewhat more for physical collectors

What a shame! I just traded a really nice condition LA Noire Complete edition into CEX. Found it in Crack Converters for £3.
Only thing I hate about the Xbox 360 is the multiple discs, at least with the PlayStation 3 all the content is on 1 disc which is pretty much scratch proof! I can see the Xbox 360 price rising some more but I can also see lots of people trading there games in when the price is high , which will then re-flood the market! A bit like the game spec ops the line recently for Xbox 360 and ps3 had a massive increase in price but now there are dozens of copies in CeX for ps3/xbox360 which they can’t shift!
Yeah that is an issue because it’s so much date it does need more disks, and like you said PS3 is more durable and larger storage. I think there will be a lot of change over the next few months with buying and selling and prices will be all over the place, and the hardest part is knowing when to buy, and indeed sell!
@@DanTheGamesMan do you have the ps3 bioshock 1-2 ultimate rapture edition that has all the dlc on the disc and well worth it for £8 in CeX at moment , there’s about a dozen copies in CeX , and if and when the ps3 store shuts will be only way to play all the dlc ! I also believe that version was a ps3 exclusive
Nice video great content as always. A little heads up for you though if you buy the dead island double pack you get dead island goty edition and dead island riptide complete edition all dlc on the discs

Nice, I'm always on the lookout for decent 360 games - my collection has got bigger and I have picked up Forza Horizon 1 & 2 from a joblot and Goldeneye reloaded for 50p recently.
Awesome some great pick ups there, especially as I LOVE the Forza Horizon series!

There are 9 DBZ games for the PS2 actually 4 Budokai games (Dragon Ball Z: Infinite World is the last mainline Budokai ), Super Dragon Ball Z is an actual beat em up that was ported from the arcades, Dragon Ball Sages (such a bad, bad game), and finally the Budokai Tenkaichi games, out of them I think 7 got the platinum treatment if I am not mistaken.
Wow I never knew there was that many, thankfully it seems there a few less for the platinum line. Sadly I don’t think Super Dragonball Z got a release which is a shame as a DBZ arcade port sounds amazing!

The PSP challenge is a step before you reach what I call the start of the end, in my opinion, 7th gen is the last console generation where AAA companies actually give an F, and most of the good small or mid-sized games went into consoles' first with a physical disk and a manual, and not be exclusively digital or be made for PC in mind first.
I am tempted to go down the PSP route as it’s such an underrated console, some many bangers people are unaware of! It was a golden age of gaming for sure!
Cool Boarders were like the prototype of the SSX series, sadly its gameplay aged like milk in my opinion

Air Combat is Ace Combat 1, the series were renamed to Ace Combat after the first game for some reason

@@DanTheGamesMan No problem, I got confused when I hunted for a full subset of ace combat PS1 games, I learned that fact after a friend of mine who is retro collecting way longer from me told me that Air Combat is Ace combat, plus if you search in youtube about the history of Ace combat games I am sure you will see Air Combat making an appearance first

Yeah last summer I got pile of nintendo switch joycons for a fiver took a punt there was 6 in total all different colours all worked bar one so a great pickup

Amiga games artwork always looks great and was ahead of its time back in the day. I often take punts on controllers if they are cheap as well.
The Amiga had amazing artwork! I love that retro futuristic look. Yeah I’m being a lot more daring with my controller pick ups, and trying my hand at repairs also
I saw a random copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops on 360 today and thought I might as well pick it up. It was on some left-out furniture in the middle of the street, so I assumed it was available to everyone.
I’m sure it was left out for people to take, definitely one of the most random ways to add a game to the collection lol

I would say it’s one that no one ever really sees, I have a tattoo for my wife on my ribs
Really nice load of games. Tmnt figure was great for 50p nice one. Yeah very true it's good to tell people I told people on a group walk as I was doing a video of the walk they asked if I do walking and historical out and about videos sometimes I do but I'm mostly a gaming channel that collects retro games and this lovely couple who I'm friends with now said they have a game console and games I got it and it's a zx spectrum with a load of games never had one. It's a bit before my time but I really enjoying it great micro computer . 😊 Good idea to tell people about your hobbies.
Yeah it’s always worth telling people as you never know what might come from it! It’s amazing what people can have stored and what an amazing console to be able to add to the collection and for you to be able to experience for the first time, I see it like passing on memories and keeping that memory alive.
@@DanTheGamesMan yeah it was in the attic for a few years I done it up and cleaned it all inside and out all the games and it's got a new life and I been playing alot of games on that I got few new games to. 😊 Yeah that's nice keeping memories alive.

Let's just say my friend has found some great items... then you show this huge box! Played the AC/DC rock band for hours, my brother had/has all the add-ons necessary to run the game, in all it's modes, a great game. Maybe a review of the LotR: Gollum game might be a future potential video, even if it might be a short video?
Yeah things like this don’t happen very often but I love it when they do lol and I’m very grateful for it! I loved playing all the Guitar Hero and Rockband games and I “think” I basically now have a full set for both. Maybe I will have to review it, even though like you said it might be a short video lol

I had probably my most disappointing week in terms of acquiring games from Cex. Two games I had been after for such a long time, Demons Crest unboxed for Snes and Dino Crisis for Dreamcast, I ordered both as they were still in stock when I ordered them. Then two days later, I got two emails saying I was getting refunded for both, and an an apology for the Demons Crest due to an issue. I was particularly gutted about Demons Crest, as it's such a rare game to come across for Snes and I thought I was about to get it. But the store that is was at, ive heard some not great things about. But after that was cancelled, it at least allowed me to get another rare game and that has been dispatched.
It’s a shame when this happens especially when you wait for a stock alter, I have had a nightmare with these also recently literally not one win this year, all orders cancelled

Can’t speak to Fighting Force 2, but I have fond memories of playing the first one in co-op with a friend on the PS1, even though I don’t think it’s particularly well regarded. It was a Streets of Rage type beat-em-up but in 3D. Can only second the advice to be on the look out for plushes. Build a Bear in particular of licensed characters can be really worth flipping - sold a Hello Kitty one for £100 recently, only cost me £2 so don’t sleep on BAB.
