Interestingly the reactor shaft in the throne room seems to be the only one in the galaxy to have safety barriers installed.

So when it comes to the whole 'Like and his mom' thing, there is another thing to keep in mind - everything he's been told is likely from his uncle Owen and his aunt Beru. Who as far as I recall - met her that one time briefly on Tatooine. Owen likely learned more about Anakin or at least had more to go off of when making up things about his being a pilot and all (as well as the line when Beru says he's too much like his father and Owen replies 'That's what I'm afraid of' so he definitely has some knowledge), which is then followed by Obi-Wan mentioning his father - not his mother. Obi-Wan is likely the one that knew his mother best of those he met, other than if Leia was told about her from her adoptive parents, and we all know how forthcoming with the truth he was in the OT - for all we know Luke asked off screen and told him she was some moisture farmer on Tatooine so he wouldn't go digging.

Sound in space is a common thing in sci-fi movies and shows. Star Trek does it too. Firefly/Serenity is the only one I can think of off the top of my head that doesn’t have sound in space.

Obviously the most bizarre one IMO was how it's supposedly only 9 years after the Clone Wars that episode 3 and A New Hope but Obi-Wan seems to have aged at least 30 years if not 40.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series is probably the most famous Star Wars show to have been created this far. Andor and Ashoka also got their praises, and Rebels only got the love it deserved once Grand Admiral Thrawn showed up, together with Darth Maul and Obi-Wan. I haven't watched that Resistance show yet, but i know it got a lot of hate, and the Acolyte, that show was a flop until the fourth episode, where they actually managed to turn things around, at least for me

The explanation given for sound in space used in some early sources, including the original novelization and radio drama, is that ships basically convert sensor data into sound for the crew/pilot to hear as an audio cue of what's going on outside. Easier to "hear" a ship fly by to the left or incoming fire than to have to check monitors to know what's going on. So as the audience, we're hearing what's being broadcast inside of ships.

Obi-wan's lack of aging between I and II isn't something I'd ever thought of as bizarre. Lot's of people really don't look that different between their mid 20s and mid 30s. The bizarre thing about Obi-wan's age and appearance is the opposite. He's only supposed to have aged 19 years between being Ewan McGregor in III and Alec Guinness in IV. It's even worse given the Disney Plus series that takes place right in the middle, just 9 or so years before IV. Canonically, Obi-wan was only 57 in IV while Guinness was 62, and frankly, looked a bit older.

Luke barely cried when Owen & Beru got torched, beyond they were supposed to have lunch ready when he got back. Luke: "There's still Good in him; I could feel it!" Leia: "Was that before or after he cut off your hand? He blew-up up my entire home-planet, ya know. And was in the room with me and the torture bot. Did your now-dead friends Obi-Waa or Kermit the Piggy ever tell you about dear-old-dad and the Temple younglings? Do you even *care* my boyfriend is a drug-runner and trafficker of sentient beings; DO YOU?! NOOO, Mister 'I could feel it' McFeelyface!!!" No wonder she turned-off R2-D2 and ghosted (didn't bother to look for) her DNA-sharer for so many decades.

#7 Luke asks Obi-Wan about his mom, finds out he is the rightful heir to the throne on Naboo. "Screw that message, I should be a king!" Gets Han to fly him to Naboo instead of Alderaan and he rules the planet. Vader eventually learns about it. Vader visits, teaches Luke to use the force. Father and son overthrow the Emperor and rule the galaxy together as father and son. I'd watch a non-canon "how it could have been" animated movie with that story. Nevermind. I forgot that the Queen was elected on Naboo instead of being a hereditary title. They should have just called her a prime minister or something.

I always took the noisy explosions as what it sounded like to the people inside the ships, not what an observer would hear, which is nothing. In The Last Jedi, when Vice Admiral Holdo rams the pursuing ship at hyper speed, the seconds of absolute silence were deafening. The explosions were the result of the vehicles' energy source exploding. They carry their own propulsion and oxygen. If it all gets mixed together at once, well, BOOM! As for the other stuff mentioned, even if I did notice it, I threw it off as "well it's science fantasy, not science fiction." Star Trek is also science fantasy, but at least they always try to throw in some Treknobabble to try to explain it, which is entertaining all by itself. My favorite was the Heisenberg Compensators mentioned in the TNG episode "Relics".

Why should they take it out? That's what Star wars was Fordged upon? Real Life. Not fancy flashy stories that make people go "ouuuuu ahhhhh", That's why we Love star wars. IT IS BASED ON REAL LIFE. Storm troopers were Real. They worked for Hitler. Adolf Hitler. They were his secret police in Real Life. That's why Star wars even Exists because they Show fun stories, with sometimes humor, They still have Real Life Stories. If Disney is In charge, they would best to Realize that is what makes star wars, the Star wars we Love. Because they DO NOT nor have Ever held back. I mean bro, they show people's heads being cut off for Christ's Sakes. YaknahImsayin? It's Just All for nothing to pull back on the Harshness of Life becauze the People thAT ACTUALLY DO go through that mess, This movie is a Reflection for them and a Light that will Pull them into GOD's Arms. Why do you think the Jedi talk about the Force they way they do. It's obvious that they made "The Force", their version at least, A synonym for the LORD. Even tho GOD is Much more Intimate, but the way they Talk about the Force IS INTIMATE. So why cut back on the tradgedy when it's in those Tradgic stories that make those characters and define them, It's a part of their Story. So Why cut back on the Harshness? Both Light and dark in our stories go together. Yin and Yang and GOD was With us Through it ALL. We are Not defined by those harsh things that happened to us But in a way, It's a part of our story.

You forgot to mention travelling via hyperspace, there is very little time taken to jump around the galaxy. Instead of taking days, weeks or months it's only taking a couple of hours. This made even worse in The Acolyte, with Jedi going from onside of the galaxy to the order in under a day. The galaxy is suppose to be huge With Leia's escape it's the case of it's not my problem. The Imperial uses fear to keep everyone in line, this also is in the Imperial forces as well. You do not want to get some unwanted attention if you stop someone of a higher rank so you carry about your own business until you ordered to do something. Imperial does not award individual thinking as it may get you killed as shown by Admiral Ozzel, even thou he's a idiot. Din Djarin didn't really have a choice about the N1 Starfighter at the start, but maybe he liked the thrill of flying it afterwards. Going from driving a small truck to a sports car.

I mean.. Yoda is the head of the council and as such the spokesman of them.. Its widely believed Mace Windu was his follow-up and thats why he was also allowed to voice his opinion. Anakin has had 2 lightsabers. One before and one after Geonosis.. they both ignite differently
