It was a helpful video! I just wanted to point out that the music was a little too loud in comparison to your voice, and it would have been a little more comfortable if it were lowered down a bit. But regardless, thanks for the pointers!!
Thank you for the constructive feedback!! I’ll definitely take note 🙏
❤Love you so much ❤
बहुत अच्छा धन्यवाद 👍👍❤
well this is goooood because I'm seeing that I recently started incorporating everything you said(apart from the preparation part) and that made university much easier tbh... I love it
Woa glad to hear that!

KZread really said for you 🙂 before the day of chemistry exam
ISTG MAN!! I got my A2 CAIE Chemistry Paper 4 in 11 hours and I get this in my feed now lmao
Real just finished my chemistry exam and this popped up
After watching your chemistry video , i feel like you are watching the icanstudy team , do you ?
Nope! Never heard of them, is that a KZread channel too?
@@gradefruit in short , they are , in detail, they are a channel that teaches productivity and learning based on a 10+ years of expertise, including the head of the research " Justin sung " ( who has a channel) and " archer newton" ( him also ) , and their channel " icanstudy" ( which has different members of the team who are not active in social media)
@@CHARGING.TARTARUS oic cool! well for me, i make my videos based on my own experiences as a Singapore student!
@@gradefruit seems your hard work has paid off since you've developed methods that help you achieve better in less time , i am from Algeria, and I've been in the learning research along while binge watching Justin's videos just to get better which eventually paid off , i think the key here is what Justin calls " growth mindset " , and that, what I've missed so I'm now just procrastinating till i die ( jk I'm getting myself together i juet need to re evaluate my situation which is a skill )
@@CHARGING.TARTARUS ahh i see. yup nothing beats experience
Hey thanks alot for this video, quick and effective... Really helped me understand ice for weak acid.
Glad it helped!!
Hi please give Advice I’m currently at high Ds with a few low Cs I want a A but need a B do you think it’s possible? And what would you recommend I should do.
Hi! Yup it is definitely possible! Well, to give you tailored advice I need to better understand your situation, such as your study methods, how do u spend time studying, what exactly do u do to study etc. But I think you should ask yourselves those questions too - how are you spending your time 'studying; and then from your exam papers (those that show that u got Ds and Cs), look through and look deep into why you got it. Break things down, and find out WHY you scored what u scored - is it u didnt write keywords in your answers, had misconceptions, etc. Then work on those! This way, you will know that once u fix these problems, your problems will immediately go away and your grades will immediately go up! But till then, I would say spend time to reflect, introspect and find out what's exactly holding your potential back. If need be, do drop me an email at [email protected] with your exam papers so I can take a look! :)
I take HL Chemistry in the IB. My exam is 4 days from now (may 8 2024). My predicted is a 4 and I am lost. I am going to get a 5. I'll update if it is possible to cram and get a better grade.
hello, i have a chemistry exam on 8 may 2024 too, can you lend me some tips, or study guides. plus, are you doing edexcel chemistry?
@@shescalledcia Hi I am doing the IB finals. Tbh im cooked
ALL THE BEST! U got this. looking forward to hear from u again
Got 19 out of 40 on p1 m22 practice sheet. I think I can get a 25 realistically which is my goal for p1. 2 days left to the final exam
@@emresnl greeting, i know it may sound crazy to you, but im having the exam on 8 may too, i was looking for a study partner, all my ooc friends are done with their exam, if you are interested , let me know.
Wonder if I can go from D to A in 13 days.
Anything is possible, all the best!
honestly, somebody give this man a million bucks cus that explanation was it this guy is him @gradefruit
yoo thanks man haha. I appreciate it
Wait, I am confused. What difference is there between IAL and OL chemistry besides going a bit more detail? Like what is added to the syllabus previously not taught?
Hey there! I'm not sure too 100% as I'm from Singapore, where the syllabus is just called GCE A Levels. But from my research, I think they are just different qualifications offered by different exam boards
Oh thanks. Imma do some research to really understand more. Thanks🙏
OL is basics AL is much tougher
may God bless you for this beautiful content bro. keep it up
Thank u for ur kind words :) appreciate it man
Thank bro you also saved my life as tomorrow is my physics exam and l don't know how to make the conversion. Thanks a lot . ❤
All the best!!
which book do u use which contains exercises and notes?
Hi! The book is the lecture notes provided by my school back then
@@gradefruit i liked the book that’s why i wanted to find out.
Hello I cannot seem to memorize the organic part of chemistry a level. What tips can you give me please? I’m so discouraged 😢
do topic wise questions for the organic part, the more you solve them the easier it is for u to memorize them...even if u dont...going back and forth will eventually result to u having memorized them. consistency is the key
Hi! No no no this is not the time to be discouraged, stick with me: 1. For organic chemistry, its important you try to spot patterns and find whats common. For eg, u will realise in most reduction reactions, LiAlH4 in dry ether keeps appearing so then u can make the link that hey i can keep reusing this when i need to reduce things. Do this not just for reagents and conditions but also look carefully at how the functional grps change - what is added, or subtracted away. For eg, in reduction reactions, H is added, but for oxidation, O is added/H is subtracted. Hence, u wont need to rote memorize as much, once u see common principles that u can apply to any organic compound. 2. Do hands-on practice to build muscle memory > memorise. Like what @catloverfinalboss said, yes practice practice and practice. This way u can get instant feedback on what u know and dont know, its super effective. Dont be stuck in the trap of being an ‘eternal student’ where u r jus studying but not applying and practicing. I hope this can help…my wish is that i could have time to make videos addressing problems like this but currently im stretched and occupied by life, but i promise it will come!! In the meantime, all the best! Lmk if u hv anymore questions:)
@@gradefruit thanks a lot bro ❤️
wait so ive read a bit on this but how does the electrons in those orbital forms hybrid? i need an explanation on this based off the orbital of s and p orbital
I think im cooked i can barely get 13 points in the A level practice exams and the exam is in 2 week am i cooked or can id od something to atleast get a c

@@ggmate8043 it’s okay man we got this we just need to lock in and get the best grade possible I heard if you make method sheets for each calc question, memorise all of inorganic then ur good for paper 1 but organic got no clue
THANK YOU
No problem! :)
I have suffered hard in mock test, i get like E, only with 1 month left i gonna have to try hard and get rid of my weaknesses. But brother my problem is i am getting burned out constantly. Take some rest, practices a paper and gets burned out ;-;. What do i do?
Hey man, i understand that ur stressed, ive been there so i empathise. For me back then and even now also, is to get myself into a better mental state, that can be done through sweating it out, exercising, going for a run, treating yourself to ur favourite meal or cravings. Give yourself the necessary nurturing fuel to carry yourself forward! Try to just focus on the present too (easier said than done ik), but thats all we can do. All the best!!!
@@gradefruit thanks man
17 days left before my chem A2 and I have to start everything from scratch, you got any tips for me man? so that I can at least get a B-C. On the brighter side, I am done with my Maths and Physics Syllabus but I don't like studying chem and this is were I've ended up.
Damn thats rough man, but theres still time!! you're not cooked yet. Here's what I'll do: 1. know what you need to know (what is expected of you from the syllabus) 2. just start practicing exam questions under timed conditions (just like the exams) 3. once done, REWRITE OUT all your corrections, take note of what's missing from your answer, according to the answer key. And if you realise you are weak/forget some parts in a chapter, go back to your lecture notes and study it again (do spend more time on this step - actual learning takes place here) 4. rinse and repeat 5. pray for the best
@@gradefruit Thanks for the response man!! <3

Yes it is!
Thanks
In fact thank you for the good information

I appreciate this to the highest.
Thank you!!
Could you link the paper you were using as a checklist (spec) it looks very helpful! wonderful vid
Hi! Heres the link to the full pdf with the checklist (or learning objectives): www.seab.gov.sg/docs/default-source/national-examinations/syllabus/alevel/2022syllabus/9729_y22_sy.pdf Take note its tailored to Singapore’s GCE A Levels syllabus, so if ur not from Singapore, do find something more similar to your country’s syllabus but still this is quite a good reference point :) Where r u from may i ask?

Amazing video, rlly helped explain it. Thank you!
Glad it was useful :)
I have nearly 18 hours trying to solve a bakc titration problem and still can't. Nobody knows how to estimate Cr in dichromate with FeSO4 in excess... Edit: Transforming my normal concentrations in molar concentrations to follow your process, at least I did it! Thanks!!!!
Good job!!
I'm again here watching this vid second time before my JEE Mains exam ❤❤ i remembered that I watched it in January.
🤯🤯🤯 mind-blowing mate❤
I have my international a level exams in 3 months i am looking forward to use these techniques to ensure atleast a B would it work currently I am borderline passing at E. I am very desperate to get good marks in this.
My case is really annoying, i have learnt how to get really good grades , and i did for gcses , but when i hit a level i started to have migranes wich deabilitaed me quite a bit 😅 , i couldnt study much 😢, so i lts been really hard dealing with school and headaches that dont let me do anything , but its getting better , in my first mock i got A in biology , A in psychology, but chemistry was a D which made me so mad, as menitoned in the vid , practice is so important , thats oke of the things i wasnt able ti do before my mock 😂 , chemistry without practice questions is horrible , the content is like a-b=y but the exam paper will be like a+b-7+2×d^3=Y
Press on!! The only way is forward
Okayy now am going to ace my exams thankuu😭✨
Omg this is helpful thank youu✨
Hii..okay so I came across few of your videos and i absolutely love it❤️✨keep on posting please😭😭
Thank you! I really appreciate it :)
Who seeing this video in 2024?
waaa, i get it now how the things work! thank you so muchh, love the way you explained things. i'll try to be consistent to keep my momentum-as the way you told it. Thanks again & wish me luck (im dealing w organic chem at the moment haih)
Glad that it helped :) ALL THE BEST
Heyy, thanks for this video, I am so scared for my alevels this summer. Is it still possible to get an A from a D from now till my first chem exam in June? What would you recommend to do, lots of flashcards and exam practise?
Yes for sure!! It is possible. I would recommend quickly applying what you’ve learnt/read in your lecture notes, checkpoint by checkpoint. For example, after subtopic or concept A, do many questions and make mistakes to reinforce and strengthen your foundation, before moving on to the next thing. Personally i dont really use flashcards so I cant really advise you on that, but what worked for me was the heavy drilling in the practice
