How I Went from "E" to "A" for A Level Chemistry (8 tips no one told me)
In this video, I want to share my own experiences back when I was preparing for my H2 chemistry A level exams. I totally understand how h2 chemistry can really be an uphill battle, and by sharing my own experiences and study tips that I’ve discovered after many many failures along the way, I really hope that this video can help those of you out there who are struggling to find some sort of direction. #studytips #examtips #chemistry

Hi! I last saw it in in person at Hwa Chong’s popular bookstore, not so sure about the other popular bookstores in shopping malls. But your best bet IMO will be Carousell (cheaper too i think because its second hand). But let me try to see how I can help to make it more accessible to y’all also

All the best! Practising exam questions + revisiting the notes to fill up my knowledge gap was the winning combination for me, and I hope it will be for u too.

Heyy, thanks for this video, I am so scared for my alevels this summer. Is it still possible to get an A from a D from now till my first chem exam in June? What would you recommend to do, lots of flashcards and exam practise?
@gradefruit
Ай бұрын
Yes for sure!! It is possible. I would recommend quickly applying what you’ve learnt/read in your lecture notes, checkpoint by checkpoint. For example, after subtopic or concept A, do many questions and make mistakes to reinforce and strengthen your foundation, before moving on to the next thing. Personally i dont really use flashcards so I cant really advise you on that, but what worked for me was the heavy drilling in the practice
Hi, can you make a video on how to analyse the papers? I have tried analysing but can’t understand where I went wrong… Thank you :)

Hi please give Advice I’m currently at high Ds with a few low Cs I want a A but need a B do you think it’s possible? And what would you recommend I should do.
@gradefruit

Hi! Yup it is definitely possible! Well, to give you tailored advice I need to better understand your situation, such as your study methods, how do u spend time studying, what exactly do u do to study etc. But I think you should ask yourselves those questions too - how are you spending your time 'studying; and then from your exam papers (those that show that u got Ds and Cs), look through and look deep into why you got it. Break things down, and find out WHY you scored what u scored - is it u didnt write keywords in your answers, had misconceptions, etc. Then work on those! This way, you will know that once u fix these problems, your problems will immediately go away and your grades will immediately go up! But till then, I would say spend time to reflect, introspect and find out what's exactly holding your potential back. If need be, do drop me an email at gradefruitacademy@gmail.com with your exam papers so I can take a look! :)
