    Guys try low-FOODMAP diet and see if it helps, the gasses might simply be farts from the small intestine due to SIBO. Aka LPR might be side-effect of SIBO which puches the stomach to fart due to pressure

    OMG! Thank you for posting this video. I have been dealing with this for about a year and the normal Acid reflux fixes were doing nothing plus the phlegm drainage at night was aweful. Coughing and waking up at night. Last night I got the best sleep I’ve had in a year. I used my netti pot with Saline and Baking soda. Unbelievable how simple this was.

    Just curious. If ACV or Betaine increases Pepsin levels, would that be counterintuitive to taking the Alkaline Water/Baking Soda spray/gargle ?

  • @TheSAHDLife
    @TheSAHDLife17 сағат бұрын

    No. Fixing the stomach is priority #1. You don't NEED the baking soda spray. It's just to help relieve symptoms while we level out the acid in the stomach. Focus on the Betaine. Then if you need the spray in the meantime, use it. You won't need it once the Betaine kicks in.

  • @TheSAHDLife
    @TheSAHDLifeКүн бұрын

    Well, it's a sign that perhaps you have too much acid and need to put your lifestyle and diet under a microscope. I still think all the points at the end of this video DO apply to people with high acid... you need to identify what's causing it. It could be what you're eating, when you're eating, etc. A food journal helps a lot of people... others, an elimination diet. Dairy/gluten seem to be some of the worst offenders but nightshades are common too.

    The new Sonos app REALLY took a step backwards. It's been out for what, a month? And users are upset! The whole reason you get Sonos is because of the ecosystem and having multiple speakers. I would say if you only want one soundbar, there are other, better options. But if you want a speaker in your kitchen, maybe one in your garage, another in your living room, that's where Sonos really shines ONCE You get used to the app. Sorry to hear you had such a bad experience.

    @@davidtamashiro3077 Ok, when I just walked up to the downstairs Deco and did the speedtest it was about half. So what I did was open the app, click on devices, found my phone, made it so it defaulted the downstairs Deco + turned off mesh technology to force it to choose that one, then the speed was the same as the upstairs one. I think it' just takes some time or it has to hit a certain threshold of speed before it switches over. What you CAN do though is set each device for each Deco. So what I've done is all my downstairs devices/smart things I've set to use the downstairs one as the main, then everything upstairs uses the upstairs one. Does that make sense? You turn off the Mesh Network setting for them individually then force which one you want them on. Hope that helps and fixes it for you! Let me know.

But I’m curious, I gag a lot and have a loss of appetite, do we think that’s due to anxiety? because I do feel something in my throat almost 24/7, it doesn’t burn, it just feels like something is in there and sometimes it is very uncomfortable and I feel as if food is getting stuck or I will just gag unless I chew till a mush. Do all these symptoms still sound like LPR?

  • @TheSAHDLife
    @TheSAHDLife5 күн бұрын

    Yeah I think you have the combo-wombo my friend. Just like I did. It's a complicated brain-gut connection that is going to require some work on both sides. You will need to adjust your diet & lifestyle to get the acid in your stomach back to normal, and you're going to need to work with your mind to not churn your stomach... because it's CRAZY how much worrying can effect us. I mean heck, when we're nervous we feel it instantly in our stomachs right? If you have an active mind you can pretty much feel that ALL the time. Then it becomes hard to figure out if it's the brain OR the stomach... probably where you are at. Let me ask, did you do the burp test while on PPI's? Unfortunately that test won't be accurate. Your symptoms really sound like LPR/Gerd though so I think taking a similar route to what I did (ween off the PPI's and add acid, betaine) will probably fix you right back up. Make sure you think more about it though... perhaps watch my older videos on the subject and see if you relate to those too before you decide what to do.

Previously I had used a gaming Netgear Nighthawk router which was pretty good for a while but started to have some issues. I appreciate you showing this off because I think this may be something I look into in the future.

    Haha I had the Nighthawk router too! It was alright... never as good as I hoped it would be? Maybe I just didn't know enough about networking. Yeah once you get the mesh going it's just awesome. I have 40 devices on it and it rips everything. I wish I did it sooner. It could be the kind of thing maybe wait for Black Friday sales on? Wait for that killer deal!

    @@TheSAHDLife I agree! I heard so much how great it was, it at least handled the higher speeds that my ISP offered, but I had hoped that it would be better. There is custom firmware that one could use to make it better, but why not out of the box? Then it started to give issues and wouldn’t play nice with everything. I decided not to mess with it anymore and just use the fancy one that my ISP gave me lol.

    Here's the one I got: TP Link Deco Xe75 Pro - amzn.to/3VxC4Wq Here's a beefier option: Netgear Orbi - amzn.to/3VKXsJh The above ARE affiliate links but don't feel pressure to use them. Check BestBuy, check Costco and find the best deal (preferably on sale!) for you. Also make sure to check that whatever you buy has a return period just in case it doesn't work for any reason. I've had mine since 2011 and only replaced the lenses about a year and a half ago! I do take good care of my sunnies though so I'm sure if you don't put 'em in a case after you use them the risk of damage is greater. They aren't the best sunglasses of all time but they are still my main pair. I rock a couple other pairs of Maui Jim's too though which I love. I like those lenses better but the styling of the Ray-Bans never gets old (imo).

    Anybody have issues with u box weight? Is it easy to overload due to their wimpy forklift?

  • @TheSAHDLife
    @TheSAHDLife6 күн бұрын

    To be honest I was surprised that they were able to get all the boxes up. I had one that was loaded with lots of heavy furniture and books, and when I realized how much was in it, I had this fear they would make me open it up and take out some weight. Luckily I didn't have to. I think if you are concerned with weight, it's still such an affordable service it might be worth adding that extra u-Box to spread it out. You'll still come away with spending a lot less than the competition. Good luck with your move!

    Hi, thanks for your great informative video. I finished my Ortho treatment and agree with you that doctors don’t tell you the cons. I wasn’t told that treatment can change my face after Ortho elastics, my face dropped, I think is from that. Also wasn’t told about retainers for the rest of my life, I think all those important things should be presented to us so we can make decision if we still want to go ahead. With regards to pain after whitening, had pain after Opalescence but not after Philips zoom 16%, I just put gel to home retainers for the night.

    @@TheSAHDLife well it looks different to me, even thought I hadn’t done any extractions. I see lines next to my mouth and my bite doesn’t feel natural. I feel like teeth are not well fitting my bottom teeth, my bite I mean. Yes my face changed for worse, I had not perfect teeth but nice smile. Now I have straight teeth but not nice smile. I noticed this after ortho elastics, the lines next to my mouth. And no one even complemented my teeth. I have all my teeth with wide smile but as I said my face outside has changed.

    @@TheSAHDLifeOh, I wish it will work out, but I doubt it. I still need to do whitening and do bonding on my top front teeth so maybe it will look better. But I doubt but face stop sagging. Oh no, I didn’t say anything to my Ortho, he is a man and quite defensive so he wouldn’t be happy if I say something and I don’t want to argue with him as it seems I need to go back to him for check up. The good thing is my Ortho is against extraction, but me dentist is pro so she is thinking he should done extraction. On the other side my hygienist liked it that I have wide smile with my front teeth going more outside without extractions done, as she said I would have gaps on the sides of my teeth with smaller arch. No doctor told me this before.

    Hello, I work for u-haul as a ubox driver. I love hearing customers experiences cause it can help me try to make this moving process less stressful on my end. U-haul does have a lot of moving parts. Pickups on our end are controlled by route times and first come first serve. Also, if you dont answer the phone to confirm pickup or call back we will keep pushing it out. Also other factors to. I had to cancel a pickup cause a major road shutdown cause of a fire. (I work in CA, lol) Our shipping is 3rd party (not employees of uhaul), and that's how we can provide the cheapest rates. If the boxes arrive later than the expected arrival date, there is a daily reimbursement till it arrives. As for the wood boxes, while they my look rough, they are the best for moving. They are breathable and move with the road. Less likely your stuff will be damaged. I also do repairs on the boxes and by far the easiest to work on. Our newer boxes are also great and look 10 times better but are a little more stiff. I always say our wood boxes are good for shipping. Newer plastic/metal boxes are good for storage. Uboxs are also good for temporary storage at your house if you have a project, long term storage at house or on site at uhaul. I have a u-box at my house i pay monthly like a storage unit. Also, load on site is free and self delivery is free (if you have a vehicle capable of towing it) just pay for the amount of boxes used. This can also help cut cost if a delivery fee to your house is pricey. Hope this helps.

    Thanks for the comment! It's great that the company has people like you working for it... I experienced (on the delivered side) this type of customer service and it was just what I needed when it I was stressed out with moving. Unfortunately on the pick up side, the service was not as good which was very stressful. I think like anything in life, like going to a restaurant, the experience often revolves around the server and their attitude... with U-Haul being so big, sometimes certain employees will be more helpful than others. It's just a bummer when you get unhelpful employees when you're going through something stressful like moving. Keep up the great attitude! I'm sure your customers REALLY appreciate it.

    This was helpful; thanks! Could you give me your thoughts on the timeliness of U-Box delivery, in general, barring highway disasters? LOL. We will only have one week at the destination home to take delivery and unpack - so a relatively tight window of time. Can we be reasonably certain that delivery will happen on the selected day, or should we rent a truck and drive it ourselves, just to be safe (don't really want to do that)? Do you have any suggestions on the best day of the week to schedule delivery? Again, THANK YOU!
