How can I get the template for this
Hi Dawn
Very much appreciated. Thanks 😊
You’re welcome 😊
I have the free version of embrilliance. I created a jpeg in photoshop. I converted it to pes file in SewArt. I merged it into Embrilliance as a working file and added a font I have in Embrilliance. It won’t let me save it. It says elements are not licensed for saving. What? Why??
You can only save merged designs with the paid version of Embrilliance. With the free version, you can save the wording by itself because it is in the program as a BX file. In order to save your PES design along with the wording into a design, you will need to purchase Essentials. www.embrilliance.com/jamaffiliates/cappliques
Dawn how did you get the right curve for the back of the hat.
Hi! I took a photo of the back of the hat. Then loaded the photo into my software (Embrilliance Enthusiast) and created the curved text around the arch of the photo of the hat. I hope that makes sense :)
Well done Dawn!
Thank you so much Maryjean! Truly appreciate it! 💕
Will this frame work for Richardson structure hats? They are stiffer and I have multiple customers who request them. How does it work for the 3D puff designs
How about for onesies
Yes! This frame would be perfect for onesies as well! Thanks so much for watching!

Wow! Nice machine! Congratulations! I am looking for a new one myself. Can you show more about threading and the bobbin? Thanks so much!
Hi! What exactly are you wanting to know about the threading and bobbin? Stitch It International has lots of videos specific to the SWF machines. www.youtube.com/@stitchitinternational/videos To find out more information about this machine and all SWF machines, click here: bit.ly/CreativeAppliques
Thank you! I will check those out.
This looks so easy but I already have the 7 in 1 Fast Frames. I just looked online and they also make a similar hat hoop attachment. Have you used the FF hat hoop? Does it work as well as Durkee? Thanks for any info!! I appreciate all of your very informative videos!
I do not have the fast frames any longer. I only have the Durkee EZ frames. I did a comparison video a while back comparing the 2 types. The Durkee are far superior to me. The EZ frames are lighter in weight yet firmer in their construction leading to less bounce. I am not sure what fast frames has for caps. Here is the link to the video that you may find helpful: kzread.info/dash/bejne/goyExtCOqKfHc6w.htmlsi=T-7tflEIZG238Ttw Thanks so much for watching!
Thank you 😀
I have this hoop and I’ve looked at several tutorials on how to use this hoop. Yours is the BEST one that I’ve seen! 🎉 Thank you so much! 🤗
You are so welcome! Thanks so much for watching! 💕
I can do these designs on my hat hoop. I need to do structured hats and this frame will not allow me to do them. I wish it did.
What I love most about this frame is that I can stitch a design that is much larger in height than I can with my traditional cap frame. Thanks so much for watching! 💕
@@CreativeAppliques true. The bigger stitching area would be nice.
This hoop is great for unstructured hats. I have one. But if you need to do structured hats, you need the hat hoop.
All commercial embroidery machines I looked at included hat hoops and drivers.
It depends on the brand and the type. Not all multi needle machines include the cap hooping system. Some are an additional purchase.
@CreativeAppliques any true industrial do. Brother/Babylock are not true industrial but hobbies machines. Their 10 needle msrp is more then my Japanese made 15 needle industrial machine.
Brother/Babylock also does not include the hat drivers/hoop which also adds to the cost.
This video is addressed to multi needle machine users not just commercial machines. There are multi needle machines that do not come with the cap hooping system. And there are people who own commercial machines but will not touch their cap system because it has a huge learning curve. I am simply sharing info on a great frame I found. Thanks for watching! 💕
I still won't attempt a traditional hat hooping system on my multi needle. I make my husband do it. Very intimidating to use.
The traditional cap systems are intimidating. This Durkee EZ frame is so easy to use. I love it! Thanks for watching!
Did the stand come with it.
Yes! Everything shown and talked about in the video came with the machine. Except for the Mighty Hoops. Those were purchased afterwards. Thanks so much! I am already loving it so much! Best decision ever! I can't wait to show the stitch comparison from my old machine. It is remarkable!!!

Thanks! So fun to make too!
I have this machine as well. If you click on the up and down blue arrows when choosing the needle (color) it will show you the thread color on the design.
Yes! It does! So many great features! Thanks for watching <3

Glad you like them! It is amazing!
This machine is awesome. Thank you for the demo. I purchased a SWF 15 two years ago and I want this new one. So much updated features that I would love. Congratulations on your new purchase.
You are welcome! I know Stitch It International does take trade-ins on their machines. If you really want this new machine, contact them and see what they can do for you! They are an amazing company with excellent customer service. bit.ly/CreativeAppliques
Congratulations on your new machine. Does it cost as much as the Ricoma?
I do not know the cost comparison with the Ricoma. Best I can offer is to contact SWF here to find out all the details: bit.ly/CreativeAppliques
That machine is fantastic! I keep looking at the SWF 12 needle. I’d love to see how you use that giant hoop.
I love it! You can contact Stitch It International to ask about the difference in price between the 12 needle and this machine. Will work on a project for the border/sash frame. bit.ly/CreativeAppliques
Very nice!
Thanks!
Wow love it , would love to know the price
Since they have special that periodically run, it would be best to contact them directly to find out all the current deals. Thanks so much for watching! <3 bit.ly/CreativeAppliques
I would also like to see you use the stash frame on this machine.
WOW, very impressive machine, what fantastic features it has!! I'm looking forward to watching you do projects with it. Congratulations, I'm so excited for you.
Thank you so much! I have a long list of ideas of videos to create.
Double WOW
I would like to see you embroider a hat on this machine.
YES! I always trace also...more than once. LOL
Congratulations!! That looks like a fantastic machine!!!
I love it!
Wow!!!
This turned out so cute! 🥰
Thank you! It is a lot of fun to create!
Great tutorial!
yes...Smart Stitch 1501. I've had mine about 2 months. my 1st multi needle and I LOVE it!! customer support is A+ top rated!! it was easy for me to learn most of it because I had a single needle Husqvarna machine for years. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !! oh and under $6k comes with lots of hoops, hat head, tool box and 15 full size brothread spools. sold on Amazon and the Smart Stitch website.
Thanks for sharing!
I love my Tajima machines. They’re reliable, consistent in stitching, and the support is great. I really wanted the ability to have someone come to my house to work on my machines and there is a tech within 2 hours of me. My Tajima TMEZ 1501SC has automatic tensioning and presser foot adjustment. Great for switching between materials. It can do flats and hats wonderfully.
Thanks for sharing!
I would look at Ricoma. I don’t have one but I’v e heard good things about them and that the support they offer is top notch.
That's the brand I had. It did not work for me.
I purchased a Baby Lock 6 needle in 2006 and she still runs like new. If you are looking to buy a multi needle, it all depends on your budget. Best of luck.
Thanks for sharing!
I have a Redline 1501 15-needle. I bought it mainly because of the price, the number of needles, the huge embroidery field, hoops, the beautiful stitching, and because I can do my own maintenance. Keep in mind that any brand of multi-needle that has “1501” in its name, is basically the same machine with different naming on them. They’re all manufactured in China but I’ve rarely had any problems in the 7 years I’ve used it. Best of luck in whatever you decide to get!
The ones I am looking into are not made in China. Not all machine brands are made in China. The one I used to have was made in China. I never could get it to work right for me.
@@CreativeAppliques I didn’t mean to imply that all embroidery machines are made in China but all of the ones with 1501 in the name are. Sorry for the confusion!
@@dorinagreen5103 there are other brands that have the 1501 in the name that are not made in China :)
@@CreativeAppliques I stand corrected!
Hello. I just found your videos and I have looked at these desks too. I was wondering if you still like this table and also how does it handle when you are embroidering? I have a Solaris so this is definitely a lot of machine. Thank you!
I love it! I have my beast of the Brother Luminaire on it and it works great! Very sturdy tables. With the weight of that machine, it has no issues with the motor.
Smart Stitch 1501, excellent machine and fantastic customer service
Brother PR1055, great quality stiches, Easy to use
SWF KS
this is the brand I will most likely get.
I have a Bernina
I have a Brother Persona that I love for small items that I don’t need to change out thread very often for. For bigger jobs, I have a Ricoma TC1501 and it has done very well so far.
Glad the Ricoma works for you. That is what I had and could never get it to stitch correctly. Thanks for sharing.
I own an embroidery company which I bought from another individual. Began with a Brother 5-Head 15-needle and 1-Head 15-needle. Terrible. Constant needle breaks. Break down for hats a complete nightmare. Changed to a Baudan 5-Head 15-needle and 1-Head 15-needle. I intend to sell the company in the near future but will keep the 1-Head. Perfect sew outs, easily threaded, easily maintained. I use the 5-Head for large jobs and use the 1-Head concurrently for smaller ones. Many times I will use only the 1-Head instead of changing a bunch of colors on the 5-Head. In 10 years I’ve never had a service problem and would recommend it for a home embroider. Definitely recommend if you do hats.
Thanks for the info!
Depends on what you are wanting to do. I have a Brother PR 680, I love it, but not for hats.
