I watched this video awhile ago. I ordered a pair of the 6 inch curved scissors. I am having a not so good experience with them. They won’t cut they just tear the fabric. I have watched Brints videos and am still haves problems. I just wondered if you had a problem adjusting to the left handed scissors or is it just me. Thanks. Pamela

Hi Pamela! It is definitely different using left handed scissors if you are not familiar with using them. Most important thing is to relax your thumb. When using right handed scissors in your left hand, we had to learn to use pressure and apply force to cut. With left handed scissors, we have to retrain our brain and hands to use very gentle pressure and force by just closing the thumb towards the fingers. Keep working with them. There is definitely a learning curve associated with learning how to use them. I hope this information helps you! Stick with it and practice on scraps. You will get the hang of using them. Don't give up (and there is nothing wrong with the scissors you received :) )
