I store my threads by color. My vision is impaired and this eliminates me having to ask someone to find me “green” when it looks like blue or red or purple

I have mostly Isacord and store them in plastic boxes from OESD. I store them by number.

My thread is stored in a thread cabinet that my husband made and sorted by color.

Very Nice. I Have mostly Isacord, some Exquisite and a couple of other brands. I store my thread in clear Hemline Tall Embroidery thread box that I purchase on Amazon. I store them by brand and number and use the Thread chart for the brand to keep track of what colors I have. I also use pipe cleaners bent to have a loop, wrapped around them for matching bobbins. I like to do Free Standing Lace

I got so lucky when I started getting more serious about embroidery. My mom had a dear friend who gave me over 100 spools of Isocord embroidery thread. I sort them by number. My storage right now needs some improvement….i just renovated my sewing room and just can’t come up with a good solution. I’ll never use all of my thread…someone is going to be very lucky one day!

I love Exquisite thread to, that and Glide. I store it by color so it’s easier for me to find what I have to use in a design. I’m visual so I was storing my thread on thread racks on the wallI. I recently got the thread storage boards from Laser Bee Studio made for exquisite thread and now store my thread in a storage cart with drawers. I love it!

I sort my thread by color. Rainbow style. 🎉

I store my embroidery thread by color.

Wowzer! That’s mind blowing.😊 I have several brands, but each is stored in some type of plastic container with a lid or zipper on it because of dust & the ability to move it around easily. Reen Wilcoxson of Embroidery Garden has a most excellent storage system for her Exquisite thread collection. I bet she can offer advice.😉🤭

Wow!! I have all of my threads on a thread rack. I only have RA threads. I’ll have to try out these threads though!

I love stitching with Exquisite threads . I have a closed in thread trays that slide into a clear storages drawers and choose my threads by my color chart . I place my threads in number order and label each drawer to show the numbers that are in them . I find it easier to match my fabrics to the sample threads on my color chart . Can you please toll me how to use the Free downloadable Exquisite color chart that is on the Dime web site under the threads ?
