After my GCSEs I’m looking to buy an iPad Pro, and I’m not sure between getting the 13 inch or 11 inch, if I were to get the 11 inch I was wondering if it is worth also getting a monitor so I could use an external keyboard and mouse with the monitor and iPad while at home at my desk, but then I could just use the iPad when I’m at school for example. What do you think? Is there any point also getting a monitor, and should I go 11 inch or 13 inch?

Looking into getting a iPad. The Air sounds great but man that 60hz screen is a buzzkill considering I'm used to 120 on all my other devices. So now I'm debating if I want to buy a brand-new iPad Air M2 or buy a older iPad Pro (2020-2022) models as they both go for around the same price point

You have the keyboard history a bit wrong there. Old old macs used to have scissor switch keyboards. Sometime after the unibody stuff and race to get thin started they switched to butterfly and stubbornly stuck with it for WAY too long, they were awful with the stuck keys. They simply switched back to the OLD scissor switch keyboard, there's nothing "New" here about it. You give apple too much credit. Same for the HDMI and SD slot.... they used to have those on macs ages ago, they just gave them back.

First time Mac user (decades-long Windows user). Just purchased my first MacBook to use for video editing. Got the Magic Mouse because... well, it was the only mouse available at the Apple Store where I was at. This is a HORRIBLE mouse. Yes, it's got some cool features, but if you can't hold the mouse comfortably (those sharp edges almost hurt), if you can't easily control the zoom in and out speed in your video editing software, all the cool features in the world won't make up for that. And where's the middle mouse button? What's up with that? This mouse was clearly NOT designed with productivity in mind. Apple really dropped the ball with this one.

USBC and 120hz is the main reason why I am using 15pro, also without screen protector and a case - every year we are trying to figure out what material they will use, what colour etc. but when you have your phone you will put it into case and all that beauty is gone… it’s just a piece of tech. Yep, I am paying screen insurance (we don’t have applecare here), but it’s just a tech, you don’t have to spend extra money for niche case and screen protection… you are gonna get scratches, yep, but it’s still just a phone. It’s still beautiful, it’s still working… Also - right pocket is just for phone and maybe one napkin :)

Both have served me well for 8 years but now they’re beginning to struggle so I’ve replaced both with a iPad Pro M4 11”. My thought process is that I can do most things on it but for those tasks that won’t work on an iPad I can use my MacBook Pro or Mac Mini. The13” Pro is not a behemoth anymore. I am enjoying it so much more than my M2 11” pro, that is hard to believe. A few years ago, I bought the M2 Pro 12.9” and it was a monster; as much as I wanted the mini-led display at the time, it was not possible for me to the point of hand, arm or shoulder pain, so I returned it. The new 13” model, is surprisingly different. It is not just marketing. Only because I am still waiting for the 11” with nano-texture, just in case I tried the 13” and I am bedazzled: 1. The tandem OLED is beyond expectations, visually superior (by far) to the mini-led XDR, which was Apple’s best iPads display. 2. The thinness of the 13” and the weight reduction is enough to actually enjoy it as a tablet. The size is immersive. 3. I wouldn’t know just by watching videos, you have to experience it. If really in doubt, buy different models, decide and return the rest! Your own experience is invaluable. 4. So many of us want a mini with OLED!!! Thanks for the video Jon, I bought before watching it but these videos are always useful.
