We see that your main power cable was Just The Right Length, but it would be wise to incorporate a drip-loop on the cable entering the equipment. Fascinating and well done, kudos!

The E class Mercedes diesel is the most popular taxi cab in Europe. That usually means it's cheap to operate.

I was hoping you were pulling the entire cab and doing a 100% refurbish. That year is one of my favorite in life. I’m 57. I’ve driven gas Chevy pickups 350,000 miles no major issues from that generation. My wife’s 2001 Tahoe took us 362,000 miles with a transmission swap and we sold to some friends who have driven it over 500,000 miles!! Your truck.. well it should be on KZread 50 years from now if taken care of.

I just found your channel, and have watched many so far. One thing I noticed, not so many band-aids, bruises, and cuts on your hands on more recent vids. Keep those gloves handy. I enjoy watching you thoroughly restore these mechanical objects. It's really nice to see all the tools you possess (or friend's) for fixing stuff. I don't have any of those skills.

When you consider the average moron that works in the average tire depot, it is a good investment for you and you might do other for them to recoup the money.

Oh my. You are too young and you know a lot about the cars. For me, every mechanic is a great person. However, looking how easy it looks when you do it, is amazing. How young you started to learn about it? Did you go to a mechanic school? I learn to change the oil of my car at age 26, too old, and I still do not understand all the parts in a car or truck.

The Last Word""" Range Rover Builds Straight Junk. I'm always astonished to see wealthy people drive these trucks and they just don't get it. They just don't know the cancerous headache that they purchased. I think possibly the last Great British car was an Austin Healey definitely worth the time to work on and fix. My buddy had one in the late '70s with an unreal all aluminum body and I remember rebuilding that with him and that thing was rocket. But as for anything else British I just don't see it.

I am an old school engine guy. As a young man I built hot rods that pushed over 800 HP and ran the cars at Pomona Dragstrip in Pomona, CA. I was heartbroken to see Waldo Fold on the rebuild when he was at the teardown point. I'm far to old school not to go the distance when you are that deep in a teardown and inspection. The why is simple, like Field of Dreams but mechanically you build it and "It Will Kickass" in the final tale of the tape "To Me" like I was taught by a Top Fuel Dragster Engine Builder go all the way and relish in your achievement. You have bragging rights and at minimum 100k to enjoy. At some point you have a choice to make because the RR will overall mechanically degrade quickly over time. So you find the right buyer (A Lover of RR trucks) and make a deal. My Father was practically a mechanical genius he and Smitty the 70's Racing Engine Master Pro were my guiding mentor and formed my love of Racing and engine building. I I have incredible faith that come my time. I will join them on the engine rebuilding team at the Pomona drag strip in heaven and at that point hopefully we're working on John Force's funny car. 😍😍😍

Watching people who don't know how to use tire machines use them cracks me up. Also there was just no need for such a big machine. A couple hours of practice on a normal table-top machine would have you set, even on low profile tires. Would've also saved quite a bit of money.

Those optima’s wont last you a year bud. Since 2014 or so whenever they were bought by interstate and moved to Mexico they are overpriced garbage. Get yourself some parts store AGM batteries for less than half the cost and will actually last you YEARS.

Interstate doesn’t make batteries. Optima batteries are made by clarios. Same factory that makes interstate batteries. I have a optima that I’ve been running since 2017

Diesel is also much safer. I would confidently throw a lit up matchstick into a diesel tank (preferably when cold😅--do not do it ⚠️). But it's fascinating that diesel is used to somewhat add to the armouring in the M1 Abrahams MBT.
