Yeah, I have to agree with you on the footplate positioning and spacing. But, I do like using Ergatta the service with it and I don't think I could switch at this point for that reason. Also, I keep it in a finished basement and it is more aesthetically pleasing to look at than the others. I rowed over a million meters last year with most workouts being in the 30-40 minute range. If I go over an hour on the rower I experience a little bit of back pain afterwards

I’m only 5’8” - 5’9” but my legs are much longer than my torso, so I’m hoping this strategy applies. I’m not that tall but I feel this struggle😅

I was running properly my entire life, but then I saw all the movies and videos of people running. They all run on their heels. That shit threw me for a loop.

Summary: While at incline, walking engages your muscles a lot more than running.

These machines are so counterintuitive - unless you've actually rowed in a boat and realise that you don't go anywhere 😊

Thats helpful, however I've met many people that I can see are the cause of tha phrase, they squat with their knees, the back is the same, the but is nowhere to be found and they end up almost touching the floor with their knees

A good way to prevent that, is to Practice carrying 65% of your body weight on the Ball of your toes as you walk daily, your heals will hurt less, and it'll result in a natural running stride...

it is all about self motivation, how much do you want to improve, how much do you want to hurt extra, will you do an extra 20 min or 30 min or even 40 min...

someone would have to be really 'special' to push with legs while NOT pulling the handle. With the feet nice and low (like you advocate) people should feel a gentle 'quad push' with each stroke.
