Planet Wild

Planet Wild

Planet Wild is a global community of people that deeply care about the planet. We're on a mission to bring back endangered species, clean up our oceans from plastic and to rewild entire forests to give them back to nature.

How it works:
1. On a monthly basis, our team selects impactful environmental projects;
2. The contributions from our global community are used to fund these projects;
3. Community members get video reports from our environmental missions, seeing the impact that they are unleashing with their contributions;
4. Step by step, our global community restores nature, increases biodiversity, unleashing a much needed systematic change.

Become a member and help restore the planet, one mission at a time: planetwild.com/membership.

To ensure that our KZread community remains a safe and respectful space for all, we've put together a set of guidelines that we ask everybody to follow: shorturl.at/ehsFZ.

    My girlfriend said their ears might act like some type of sub-whisker that helps them sense low frequency or low vibration sounds. Maybe a range that their whiskers don't pick up but because they're on their ears, they do.

    A blue whale! Not very long ago scientists thought them extinct. Very endangered, however.

    Seems like a drop in the bucket, and how do you randomly get diversity from monoculture? It would be better to introduce nature species back rather than just hoping for the best.

    The world 🌎 needs advocacy in every generation from multiple different perspectives and people. Steve Irwin impacted my generation (x) immensely. I’m grateful that Planet 🌍 Wild is advocating in this generation! Thank you 🙏🏻 for everything that you do for the Planet 🌏!! 💚💙💛

    Unfortunately, this is a rather dubious video. You show forests of pure spruce or pine stands and claim that diversity is reduced by clearing. This is simply wrong and the opposite is the case. Even on the initial ruderal areas, diversity is higher than in the pine forest. If shrubs then grow on the areas after a short time, even more so. You show high-quality heathland and claim that this is a completely useless area. What is wrong with you? Didn't you have biology lessons? These are paradises for insects and the like. The areas under the routes have been used quite sensibly for a long time. You have to make this more valuable first. But please not by destroying the existing good areas. Unfortunately, this all sounds like a bad sales video.

    Years ago I had a black dog of similar size that I called "Sun Bear" whenever she laid in the sun. Just like the young sun bear, she thrived on love and lived a long and happy life. Her name was Arabia. 🙂

    how do you know there are other types of tree seeds waiting to come up if it was used as a pine plantation for years and years. i think you should be seeding or planting other types of trees to help it along.

    Another awesome project you can consider doing is creating a buffer zone around rivers. This has 3 benefits rivers will flow for longer, please living on river edges won’t get flooded and you will also be creating wildlife corridors. It’s win win win!!!
