This video is still helping out! I am doing research for our skoolie and was considering foam it green. You have saved us big! 💜
That bedroom terrifies me. What would you do in case of fire?
This looks incredible!!!
Wow perfekt sexy i Love it
Wow wow wow wow wow
Love this So Much!!! Love Everything you do!!!
Thank you!!!
Great job on the video, this is so good!
Thank you! Joe Baxter did such a good job with it!
BAD PREP!
I’m a first time home buyer in CT. Do you have any advice?
Ah Jeesh 🙏!!!!!!! Thanks Sorry they SUCK Glad you shared
This may be the weakest step by step tutorial on the subject on KZread. So, how are you going to rivet the sheetmetal to the hat channels with what you did. How are you going keep the rivets in line? You didn't even say what kind of 18 gauge you are using. Don't like being so negative, but this is really worthless.
Wow! This should be interesting!
So much work looks good. The video doesn't do a good job showing how massive this place is
Woo hoo first view, what a difference it looks amazing now
Would be nice if u can turn the shower on to it regularly showering 😢
Hopefully you can redesign some areas, add a heating pad for the water tank and get solar for your next trip. Please post an update when you can. Thank you for sharing.
Holy f i bought a kit and it’s on its way🥹
I need to do this in the next month or so, want to come help ( :
Thanks for this I was thinking of putting one of these in our semi outdoor shower on our tanked property. Winter is super cold so this won’t work. I would also want to use the wand for cleaning the shower.
pay to let the pros spray foam I dont like the kits.
I love the two bathrooms❤
A wet room second bathroom would be a good idea.
I like her accent.
Why can’t the urine be mixed with the feces and neutralized? Like with a cat’s litter box?
Did some research and these guys are now out of business.
No more updates? :(
I’ll post one now and do another one soon!
@@TeamBassett I just saw the update, and I understand completely. I couldn't believe that electric bill though! Yikes!
@@magnoliathebus yeah it was crazy!
thank you for this review. I was contemplating getting this but did not know that the wand could not be used independently. I'm not particularly eager to get my hair wet in the shower daily so this won't work for me and I am so thankful for your review.
The mist shower experience is definitely worth it. I use an induction hot water heater 4 feet from the shower. It has numeric settings. We Heat our water to 140° for the shower. We also use a separate 2 gallon thermal storage unit that specifically fills for the shower. The thermal storage unit paid for itself in 2 months allowing us to use a fraction of the water and energy we had been using previously with far greater satisfaction. I've heard some people say that having an enclosed shower stall keeps the heat loss at a minimum. It would also be easy for hot water manufacturers to adjust their flow rate with on-demand systems to match even one nozzle mist systems if enough people requested it. It may be that some people's water leaks equal what the shower would actually use so maybe that's why currently on demand hot water manufacturers have such a high flow loss rate before their systems kick on. This is similar to the flush toilets of the 1930s that in some places left the water always running in the toilet so manual flushing was never needed. We know now the environment can't afford it and still provide safe water. Even if that wasn't the case I sure couldn't afford the water bill.
I was gonna spray foam my shuttle bus conversion, thank you for leading me to another supplier and saving me and many other headaches. There's a saying the customer is always right even when there wrong". You guysshould of been treated better
I watched a video and these spray foams only give you a small temperature range it will work in.
Do you mind sharing the information on your bathroom I would like to do mine’s like this.
Thanks so much for sharing your honest review! Unfortunately, we could not include a Wand-only setting for this product due to two separate regulatory restrictions. That being said, we're thrilled to hear you love your Nebia :)
I live in Germany and have never seen a shower that gets connected to a pipe in the wall before. Do you have options to just connect it to a mixer tap? And if I have to turn up my boiler, do I actually save money on the water? Seems like the extra heat needed would counteract the water saved.
It seems crazy that regulations prevented a diverter from being included near to the connection point for the unit at the wall! Were a diverter included there, I’d have assumed that it would be possible to internally route water flow to either the handheld sprayer, the overhead unit, or to both at the same time-what might the restrictions be, or what might they be in place to protect, that they prevented this feature from being included??
Staggering cuts will not make it stronger. Did the bus have staggered cuts before? No it didn't. If you want it stronger weld-in cross members that would actually make it stronger.
Love, love, love that you have separated spaces in the bathroom that are private. We are wanting to have separate spaces in our build as well but are not sure how much space to dedicate to each to have enough room to get the business done but not be too tiny. Could you please share the dimensions of each toilet room, shower size and sink size? TIA
Same please share
Loved he video, it helped us on our own roof raise. Thank you so much!! 😊 Who did y’all find to insure the bus with a roof raise?
Every time I see buses with kids beds under parents beds I’m just like…. How do y’all have privacy? How do you have intimate time when your kids are right below you? Or you just never do that’s kinda thing in bed….?
Thank you for the review. I wonder if the foam was stored or transported in high/low temperatures from the manufacturer which changed the results. Either way, your review was amazing and I will be using another company's product.
How much did it cost you to build this skoolie
I absolutely sincerely appreciate your review. We made a Mist shower with an agricultural sprayer and it works wonderfully but it's inconvenient to set up so it helps to hear reviews of manufactured Mist showers. I'll have to do a little more research but I'm feeling it will be worth it
How do you like the agricultural sprayer vs a regular shower head?
I was worried about using Foam it Green after watching this video so I emailed their customer service with this link. They replied that they had switched to a new supplier to fix the issue seen in this video. So I took the risk and used it in my bus last fall right before it got too cold to do so and it worked GREAT. I have had zero issues. Just wanted to post this so that others would know they have fixed this issue. Additionally, I received no compensation for posting this I just want to share my findings.
Is it 220v or 110v?
Like you, I truly hate doing dishes. How much power and water does your dishwasher consume? Do you think it might save water relative to washing dishes by hand?
What you are saving in water savings you are losing a portion of that to energy bill and the inconvenience of having to be right up to it.. which I’m sure is annoying. I was looking at theirs a few months ago and people all say the same thing. A mist is a mist. It can’t hold temperature very well.. so people tune the heater up.. which draws more power to keep it at higher temp. I’d like to have one I just am not dealing with the higher electric bill over water bill s
Hi! I wanted to address your comment about having a higher electric bill with Nebia as this is not true. First of all, in most cases you will only need to turn up your water heater if you have a very large/open style or an outdoor shower. But we understand that some people like it very hot :) Where the magic happens is when you are able to contain the heat/humidity produced by the spa shower as this creates our signature steam shower experience. This works best with an enclosed shower. If you have a hot water tank it’s best to think of your water heater as a kettle. It takes less energy to heat warm water a couple of degrees up rather than emptying the kettle halfway, filling it with cold water, and then heating it back up to the desired temperature (standard shower). Since Nebia draws very little water from your water heater, it does not need to continuously heat up gallons and gallons of cold water to replenish itself after a water-intensive shower. So, even if it is at a couple degrees higher, you will still be saving energy and $ with Nebia overall. Hope that helps!
What length was your square inch tubing?
You talked about getting rolled corners but did not show them.
Can you do a full bus tour that includes every space please? Even if you don’t give details about each area but it’ll be nice to see a full view of the use of all of the spaces.
Excellent review, concise and to the point. None of the other reviews I've seen for this mentions the shower head has to be on when you use the handle which is important to know. You also confirmed my thought that the micro droplets cool off faster than larger droplets.
Hi Victor, you are correct. All other things being equal, atomizing showers will be colder than non-atomizing showers because of their greater droplet surface area. However, I did want to let you know that our third and fourth generation Nebia showers are much warmer than Nebia 2.0 (the shower in this review). In fact, when compared to Nebia 2.0, the Nebia by Moen Spa Shower has droplets that are 61% larger in mass (17% larger in diameter), which significantly increases their ability to retain heat.
one of the best kitchen layouts i've seen. this has def gave me some inspiration.
in 2018 the same thing happened to me $3k wasted. right off the bat compound A wasn't coming out right. I didn't know anything was wrong until it started dripping off the ceiling. It looked plenty green to me. Called them up and they said the same thing. I must have done something wrong. Expensive lesson learned. I'll call a professional with the proper equipment next time.
You think this trash is a step by step tutorial? It's awful.
