Pros and Cons of Bus Life with 2 kids: 3 Months In!

These are our pros and cons based on our experience of living in the skoolie full time for the last 3 months. We will update you all with a full tour very soon! Our saving grace is our floor plan, it makes the space very functional - our pros/cons list might be very different if we went with a different layout.
Thanks for watching! George & Heather

I am SO glad that I stumbled upon your channel! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the transparency that you both have about the reality of bus life. With the bus life community booming now I thank you so much for being so authentic. I absolutely LOVE that your build is so different & you didn't try to follow what everyone else is doing & that just made me LOVE your build even more. You did what works for YOUR family & your needs & it's absolutely GORGEOUS! I am so excited to see the completed tour of your bedroom area. Just from the "almost finished tour" I know it's just as amazing as the rest!!! I mean you DO have THE MOST BEAUTIFUL kitchen & LR area & THE ULTIMATE DREAM skoolie bathroom! TWO toilets on a skoolie is A DREAM & you guys were clever enough to make that happen. Being married to a plumber/electrician (he's also an amazing carpenter) & owning a plumbing/electrical business for 10yrs now I can absolutely appreciate the brilliancy of making sure that you implemented accessible ways from INSIDE your home to get to the plumbing & electrical! We have flipped a couple of homes also & I think this is an ingenious idea to be able to LIVE wherever you are flipping as I know MANY LONG DAYS are spent there! I have watched hundreds of skoolie builds (a bit obsessed with it😁) as I am gathering as much knowledge & ideas as I can before we take the plunge & again, yours is by far my favorite! I look forward to continuing to follow your journey & maybe you guys can move to warmer climates in the winter. After all you DO have that option to just move your home wherever, whenever you want to! Do you have an Instagram page established? I checked in your description & didn't see one listed. Also do you plan on traveling & are you homeschooling or planning on it (Idk how old your boys are)?

I'm curious how you guys insulated your bus? typically spray foam or other types of insulation breaks the thermal bridge and prevents condensation from forming. also condensation is a reaction of burning propane. So if you have an appliance using propane all the time, that could be causing the condensation issue. I love your unique build! looking forward to the room tour!
