LMU itself should have been DLC of RF2 to begin with. RF2 have improved leaps and bounds in the recent years, is NOT outdated in any way, latest DLC BTCC is the best compared to any other sim.
All they need to do is add fresh content with a better multilayer system to compete with iracing, keep the modding aspect and don't go wild with the physics etc
AC 2 or EVO could do things a lot better. Proper pitting, synced weather and day and night cycle in multiplayer, driver swaps to name a few
iracing is about 5 times better ff
How about Automobilista 2?
Air fryers really are the best haha. I really feel like this game was created after the bad PR from their virtual Le Man fiasco. Hence the name of the game…. Clearly…
Totally right. When i jumped into AC world last year i download ton of content and then realised i was overwhelmed with choice and ending never using many of the cars I've downloaded. This way you get bored quite fast as the quantity make your experience similar use and throw away. To have a great experience it's better to have less but quality content and creating goals and purposes within the game. We live in a era where we are so overstimulated and we have too much stuff available too easily. I was going to quit AC as i dont have much time to play nowadays due to work and other personal priorities. However, i changed the way i play AC. Goals and focus on challenges. Group 5 cars, getting familiar with almost all the tracks the world, sticking with one car or just one category of car. Improving my laptimes. Having too much content, it's not the solution in my opinion.
Eh.. AMS2 with a custom file goes in circles around AC when it comes to FFB.
It's nice that you can adjust ffb so much in AMS2 but the physics are nowhere near as good as AC and AC has more detail for what's actually important when it comes to balancing a car on the limit.
🤣
hold gas n brake together !
this game sucks due to throttle bug and weird floaty physics, even suspension setup doesn't make big difference, my choice is dirt rally 2
Anyone else getting a ' Star Citizen ' vibe about LMU?
you need a simucube ultimate so you dont have 60hz ffb, then you could have saved the crash 😂 iracing is the best sim in the world!!!
So silly how you can't use right stick for throttle and brake, refunded because why are developers dictating what buttons we can use on our own consoles
I hope everyone who is complaining here it's also not getting paid at,work, do it for free
I’m in love with lotus 98t
I just want special events like in the first game with very different gold requirements.
we have imported mods from older sims to current ones for ages, is just a matter of time until we import and polish most of the stuff, i dont think this is a problem, just a matter of time. they have to f*ck up really hard for this to happen. we even race in rf1 imported track on AC
New SIM has to be substantially better though and easy to mod or offer features not in other Sims , or RF2 situation can happen.
@@GamerMuscleVideos tbh honest i think we will all end up in irenting in half a dozen years anyway. the numbers keep going down has the people that join during the pandemic keep leaving the hobby and current sims keep seing the numbers go down from all the division that having tons of sims. I renting has it all now with the rain update, its noob proof and easy to run in any pc compared to other sims.
All I want is a UI that doesn’t look like it’s from 1999
So just to add to GM's riveting documentary short, there is an update scheduled for now with the radar, new rolling grid thingmabob, etc. According to their site, early access buyers will get the BMW Hypercar free. Also for free are the 2024 liveries on the existing cars like Toyota, Ferrari and Porsche. The DLCs you will need to pay for are split into 4 over the rest of 2024 which will include in total 4 new tracks, additional hypercars and the GT3 cars (9 makes of which 2 are free to early access buyers) The DLCs can be purchased separately or all at once at a reduced price. ...and no I do not work for nor am I related to anyone at Motorsport Games. I DID however buy the game and would like to see it completed which will require support or $$s. See you on the track...virtually of course.
Interesting point was raised, and I will point out a major flaw in MSG's long term plan listed toward end: at the moment in Le mans there's been progress but its going to find it hard against things like AC just now. One example is how flexible AC is and despite the cars in Le Mans being truly wonderful just now and the tracks feel ok - if you look at AC you can change it. Take the cars VRC modding came out with the Hybrids which are great too and RSS. Take the tracks and grip values: in AC you can go into the surface.ini file in the track data directory - and for a track like Surfers Paradise he made a great track but didn't do surface properly and doesn't have a groove file - no biggy, because the cars in game are now faster etc just change the Tarmac's Friction in there to 1.02 usually or 1.04 up to - 1.1 for a grippy but fair f1 car or similar(normally its often 0.97) -- it also depends how track was made well or not how you want to warm the tires and have it be dynamic and if your rubber line is meant to affect it and whether you have ideal temps or not or csp shadow temps etc 1.04 seems ok; carpet curbs and etc slightly less. With other tracks that were too smooth - tracks like ACU_sochi, ACU_Circuit of America's,ACU_ Valencia street, BAKU is interesting at 1.085, Chicago, plenty of them you just add in more grip and slightly adjust the groove.ini over time. THIS: also the AI in AC is too good, a higher grip will help you match them more; sometimes 1.04 is too much, and other times a modders 0.98 is just fine, so use accordingly. IF 1.04 means you do not make use of the curb in a particular car when you know of course it would need the curb to be used, then you have too much grip - it should be 1.03 or 1.02. Small amounts make a big difference with all the variables including how the track was made, eg splines and all kinds of things - latest csp lets you change some of that as well as making the AI better at predicting speed in turns. This will help even more. A good example of a track made right for which does not need any change can be many but take JR_road atlanta 2022, its got a grip of 0.95 and this does not need to be changed. Your car, perhaps the RSS 2017 will exhibit all kinds of nuances and unique movements from unexpected rotation at the front upon turn in for which you need to correct to needing the curb to flopping about to the rear being twitchy and moving about or rotating, sideways slide and grabs, to oversteer and understeer, you will be able to race very fast for 5 or 10 laps until your tires fail, and its all an expected and gradual progression of handling. AC is really hard to beat ain't it. Truly sublime and the effect of rapid increase of lateral movement is just top notch. Nothing like that exists in Rf2 or Le Mans so this DLC thing will be a long haul thing and I do not buy into it, I think its just anti consumer so much, and with world populations in south east asia going to the way side, and with UK and USA and aussies going onwards and upwards sharing free trade with no one else - WHERE do the consumers for exports of the future come from? The truth is in the west we have it good but in terms of consumers and customers these company's will have to stop 1 monopolies and 2 bad practices. 80% of chinese personal wealth was wiped out, it was propping up their banking system. People retiring. The gravy train will soon be over, a rational time will emerge, grass roots economics rather than subsidised business will exist. Thus long term MSport games better get their rears into gear. While it is true Australia shares with UK and USA about 4000 exact same laws and they have each others backs, and canada etc, nz, some others, but not the laws - there's council laws down in aussie exactly the same as in the UK as well as finance and data laws (and international law and maritime law of course which is global and they also started and ended the UN and World trade organisation and world health both/all 3 ended and useless now when it was used against the greater good.... and there's same British law in singapore and other places too. But the free trade with canada and aussies and UK and the exact same financial markets funding, and sharing in uk/usa/au the military industrial base (its not real that china can build ships faster btw - and their navy is about [not kidding] 30 times weaker than USA, and USA is stronger than Japans navy at 2nd by about a factor of 8-12. The economics of the globe are shifting and it makes sense if we cannot grow in USA and Australia and UK anymore - then as the world's safest places to STORE YOUR MONEY, we all had to change. And thus it makes sense with less exports means less money for others, and more money for them - but also with world pops thats less consumers, so they only trade into their own markets and some in France lol, good on the frogs, but scandinavia a little too, not india as they want nothing to do with the rest of the world, and china wont be around much longer, the entire culture is probably going to slip off the earth as they can't reconstitute the population. Thats not wholly different to Canada or Australia who can't lift their pops either just now without migration which again is coming to an end - not as many migrant either their countrys got better or they will run out of people -- but the USA and aussies have so much farm land they can afford to have even bigger populations, US has more farmland than the rest of the world combined basically and as much coastline as the Med in europe; but the chinese are done for within 120 years, they cant replace even 20 year olds now....so think about the future if aussies cant get past 30 million or canada 60 million, india less and china melted away, this future is not too long away as the world gets older on average. The globe would have to wait for conditions in aussies and canada and USA will be ok, but those conditions to have more family's than is possible now. With a changing economics maybe both partners either will work, so back into the old days. Markets are changing even today; means better consumer choices and if you live in either UK or Australia or the USA, Canada - you don't float your dollar any more! even as its tied directly to the USA's dollar (and those country's essentially have become one entity in the past 100 years like some western conglomerate) - thus you automatically become richer if you live in one of those 3 or 4 countrys since they will no longer devalue their currency in order to be better placed in international trade (NZ wants in, not possible but NZ may be absorbed by Australia as well as [again] papua new gunea), and the USA too which may absorb various nearby places fully, and also that means companys will have to value people more. So the story is - if USA didn't step aside so much like it does for its mega alliance just now - it would outcompete the entire globe in a heartbeat. That sentence is reality 101. So they decided for security means and other means, and sensibleness, to change it up, and its been coming since Winston Churchill basically and the inter-governmental extended agreements, then the royal family had a say in dragging in the ausies then they went to the americans and it was a done deal. Those 4 country's put something like 20 Brigades onto French beaches in ww2. The chinese can't even get one brigade a much shorter distance. The economy that exists now won't last, Globally and china already fudges or fails to collect all its figures. Thus its worse than you think or they know. It really is that simple, there won't be a lot of wriggle room to take advantage of the market, business or situations as within 5-10 years countrys who are not those or france are going to literally wither away, nor norway or sweden most likely and one or two others; everyone will be substantially weaker except them; or anyone without a proper security and trade protection - the western core is fine but everyone else - look we don't even protect ships flagged under other nations flags anymore! So in future another point is that instead of business leading the charge and deciding where the money goes, its reasonable to expect government will be making that choice via the electorate. Being honest here - business has way too much say in things as it is now. Its really changed already. Mexico is slowly being absorbed too - the govt is hiring Militia and the country is fragmenting, its 'dollar' is basically tied to USA via NAFTA (free trade), so its literally no longer going to be any one else's rules except those core 3. Aussies have a problem with local monopolies but even that is being changed up for fairer competition. Consumers will benefit and have more of a say all across the core western country's. Now, thats important - WHY? lol because between USA/AU/UK they are all in line to reap multi-10's of trillions of dollars extra over the next 50 years. Already about 5 trillion more than otherwise is flowing throughout America right now since 2015 - and trade protectionism has only increased and only can increase. There's just less workers so its not directly felt as much, but in time that gain will be across them all. UK prob in a holding pattern for now, and Farage is back atm. A shakeup is indeed coming. In aussies their Greens party (like in Germany) is way out of favour, being asked to be last in preference. The 3 countrys realised, they have old presidents and knowledgeable politicians and where they are young: guys you dont think Sunac has about 50 old advisors or albanese, they ALL knew just by growing up - our worlds of which we are the center of our own worlds, joined as we are across 400 years or so - its like female solipsism, were the best when our middle classes were the thickest. That will be returning. Our blood sweat and tears? Its for US - no one else.

Does your cable you linked in the description give any bad latency when you use these settings?

Well.....ACC solved some core issue that AC had and that's why I'm exited about AC evo in the hope to fix some core issue that ACC have. I'm sure they will raise the bar once again.
TC,ABS,car systems , curbing is better in ACC over AC however They introduced input delay , less detailed FFB and more robotic driving when at the limit due to the above combined with more peeky tires. So when you get to the crux of driving ACC is worse than AC.
@@GamerMuscleVideos Well.... to be fair everyone was exited when they announced Unreal Engine for ACC, of course now we\they all see the downside of this and now we are exited to see a custom engine for AC Evo ......So is a good things (fix a short coming). About FFB that is so subjective that there is no even point to make an argument about since I have and loved AC but now if I try to drive a GT3 car in AC I can't even get temp in the tyre while in ACC I enjoy every second of it. Subjective! Have a good day.
I got like 400 hours out of OG content, its fun.
The first major update should be free, and future content can be chargeable thereafter.
For MSG to survive this had to come at some point. Will i buy? Yes. Am i the most active on LMU? No. For me iRacing still is the go to because no matter what time you join, you are 5 minutes away from an online race. LMU im always 50 minutes until, and that just makes me shut it and open iRacing. More online plz LMU
DLC to unfinished product? Shitty dev model.
I'm on the raging side. First release the game then work on paid DLCs. The core content should be completed before releasing other paid addons and DLCs and everything added during the development should be presented as an update, not a 'free dlc'.
Really depends on the price. If it helps fund the game makes the final product great then I think its worth it. 😊
If they add good multiplayer features and improved AI (along with better graphics and as a bonus some decent career mode) plus make modding support even better, whilst allowing for quick and easy AC1 mod conversions, then it is highly likely that AC 2 will be the dominant racing sim for at least another 10 years. I hope Kunos realises this and is already on the way to delivering the sim we are all waiting for!
its a free dlc, it says so on their post
You get a free 2024 Hypercar, plus to 2024 GT3's, so no one is excluded from anything. Like rF2, you only need to own the track and one car to race.
Yah owning the track is the issue , new tracks on iracing end up dead half the time.
@@GamerMuscleVideos It's Imola, it will get plenty of air time!
Im just going to roll this out as a Nostradamus moment, the next assetto corsa will probably go down this path too ..... Just a guess, but keep your eyes open for a season pass shortly after early access. Look its the way of the future unfortunately.
Pretty fair assessment overall but where does £240/year for the first 3 years of iRacing come from?
That's how much you will end up spending if you have a year sub + buy a basic amount of content as you play the game a car or two and the tracks required to race it. Some people just stick with basic sub but iracing is very clearly designed to have people buy more content.
I don't care I will pay for lmu and not for iracing any more iracing cost me now 2000 euro il
Stitch up
If aseetto corsa evo has the graphics of ACC and driving that feels as good as acc im happy
Long term sim racing is very affordable with iRacing. For about A$160.- per Year I get at least 6 new tracks and 6 new cars including subscription. No more DLC's for me (I spent $100's on unwanted content)
First, you rent cars and tracks, coz you can't use them offline with AI without paying for the service (online services gone down x10 compared to 2007, but somehow they doubled the price). But I salute you bravery to talk about affordability of DLCs on AC fan channel ;)
@@unotoliPlay ac or am2 if offline lameness is ur bread!
@@volkarach0293 subject: dlc + affortable, none of this true for iRacing (and actually a fraud, coz technically sub is for online only)
Let’s call this what it is, we don’t pay for games anymore, we pay for a service. Some are good at service, some not so much. 😘
Bought it but have not played it for months. Waiting for VR - thought it would be here by now (yes I have played it in VR using the workaround but performance is not good and looks bad
That game doesnt have fucking vr what a waste
Another possible problem is Windows 10 is running to it's end . Will we, can we live with Windows 11 privacy issues. Will our games run in Linux?
So glad I refunded this at launch. So many better sims out there, with way more quality content.
I love this game, but i think its way to soon releasing a DLC as this game still miss some basic features. I will still probably buy the DLC.
That scenario is not unusual for iracing
I hope they add Rally support and more Hill climb stuff into AC-Evo. I'd even buy it via DLC if required, as I know not everyone loves rallying...
Oh no, after spending all the money on a top end pc, lining nvidias pockets. Then dropping thousands on sim racing hardware, I'm angry that I may have to pay £8 to a software company to make the best of it, behave.
Whenever complain about the price of Sim racing... I think about the cost of one tyre on my go kart and go... Hmm maybe it's not that bad 😂😂
