Dear Mumbaikars, शायद आपको नही पता होगा ।। दुनिया का कोई भी शहर के डिवेलपमेंट में एयरपोर्ट का सब से अहम योगदान होता है , पर मुंबई के लिए ये उल्टा है । अभी का सन्ताक्रुस एयरपोर्ट में 2 क्रॉस रनवे है और एयरपोर्ट भी अब लगभग मुम्बई के बीचों बीच है । जिसके कारण मुम्बई में बिल्डर्स को हाइट रिस्ट्रिक्शन फॉलो करना पड़ता है , जिसके चलते एयरपोर्ट के चारो तरफ हाई राइज बिल्डिंग नही बनाया जा सकता है । क्योकि बीच शहर के चारो ओर रनवे का अप्रोच फनल है । जिसमे कोई भी कंस्ट्रक्शन का height रिस्ट्रिक्शन होता है । तो अब यदि नवी मुंबई एयरपोर्ट बन कर उपयोग होना शुरू हो जाएगा तो अभी के एयरपोर्ट का 1 रनवे 14/32 को बंद कर दिया जा सकता है जिससे हज्जरों लाखो बिल्डिंग को redevelop किआ जा सकता है । जो अभी 10-15 फ्लोर के है उसको 50/70 फ्लोर का बनाया जा सकता है । और मुम्बई को आम जनता के रहने लायक बनाया जा सकता है । जल्दी ही नवी मुंबई का एयरपोर्ट बनना चाहिए । ये अंधेरी के आसपास के एरिया के लिए भी बरदान साबित होगा । धन्यवाद 🙏

There are few more things he needs to do, to leave a legacy behind. 1) There is a six lane proposed road between Thane and Borivali, but for the common man we need a metro line along this route it will cut down travel time 2) One more metro needed between Mulund and Goregaon 3) Colobrate with the likes of Singapore Transport Authority and Transport Department Hong Kong Lice sing Authority... but ask them to come here...and not send our Babu's on a holiday trip.... We the common man have had enough of this. 4) We need a free mobile application where you can track your next BEST bus. Display signs on Bus stops is not a feasible option in India. We can replicate what Melbourne Transport bus service has .. 5) We can build commercial complex above our Bus depots to earn more revenue. In Hong Kong and Singapore they have a bus depot on the Ground floor. Metro line on the first, Parking from 2nd to 5th Shopping Complex from 5th to 10th. Commercial offices, Restraunts and Hotels from 7th to 60th floor. Have a liberal FSI to make them able to generate rental revenue to subsidize our BEST Service. 6) More Sky walks between stations to Rickshaw stands, or other places with no hawkers on them but side shops on these sky walks. It will pay for themselves. 7) We need to create more connectivity , a holistic Transport approach and more tourist attractions. We need more people and not less. The way is to create avenues of growth and centers of employment 8) Lots of factories have closed down in and around Mumbai. This is natural progress. We need to create more centers of employment. This is happening . We have seen new centers spring up like BKC, Malad Mind Space, Lower Parel, CBD Belapur. With the Metro coming up location and distance will not matter 9) We need a 2047 plan for MMRDA

Actually the depot in aarey is harm to environment.. also now we have to built other depot at कांजूरमार्ग kanjurmarg for metro 4 and 6.. shivsena was saying lets built one depot at kanjurmarg for 3rd line also.. Aarey jungle is completely taken bu builders from all sides.. metro depot is just a way to take more land inside jungle..now as metro depot is there, some food facilities and other things and small business wilk come there and then it wilk make a way for builders to do construction.. Lets be a human who wants development but not at cost of environmental harm when other options are available and other plaves are available for depot

This metro is for real estate redevelopers, urban development dep has notified on 29 Feb 2024 about adding clause 33(23) in dcpr2034 on more FSI in Transit oriented development zone of 500m from boundary of each station on Colaba-Seepz Metro route and monorail routes and invited objections or suggestions before 29March 2024. 500m zone is very less and should be extended to 800m and plot area constraint should be removed. More car parking should not be encouraged in TOD zone but cycling and walking should be encouraged, metro monorail rail is not needed if people want to use cars and scooters or rickshaws.

Mumbai is known to get flooded during rainy season. I hope this aspect has been factored in, to prevent water rushing into the metro line which will cause a havoc
