The Amputee Angler

The Amputee Angler

A double leg amputee after an explosion now sharing my fishing adventures on the land & Sea.

I do Sea fishing here in the UK primarily on the boat but also the shore and the occasional bit of freshwater fishing as well.

I hope you find it as enjoyable to watch as I do making it for you 🍿 🎥

Enjoy. 🐟🎣

I’ve had really bad luck with the camera. I ordered one from and it came from the UK, it worked for 1 trip. Then the camera wouldn’t turn on. The vendor sent a second one and it worked for 3 trips. Now the camera just doesn’t boot up and Westin just doesn’t respond. You can’t troubleshoot the camera either because there’s no software to connect it to. I’m still waiting for Westin to respond and help me out.

@@Lineaycarrete Well in a way I am glad you have mentioned this as it’s something I am going to mention when I do the actual review video of the camera as this was just the set up Video but… I have had the same issue with 3 cameras now, it’s not just a one off clearly and looking online someone else had had the same the problem on Amazon. It’s a brilliant designed camera for the job but unfortunately I think there is a design flaw in that it doesn’t work long due to the internal switch breaking that turns the camera on I think far to easily.

  • @Lineaycarrete

@@theamputeeangler I’m glad I’m not the only one. It’s definitely a design flaw. Hopefully Westin reaches out to me to send me a new one or help me fix the issue. I’m a content creator and I’d love to keep using the camera. By the way, since you’ve used the waterwolf, have you had any issues like this? I thought of buying it but it seems like it’s the same people making the camera since it’s from Denmark and similar design. Thanks for your feedback.

@Lineaycarrete I know some of the guys at Westin they have told me they’re going to respond to you here but if not reach out on Instagram to them! So the guy that makes this one is the same guy who made the water wolf he just jumped ship as i understand it and redesigned this escape cam improving some of the flaws. The Westin is a better more sleek design by far and lighter than the water wolf but if it’s not going to work then it’s a problem 😂 I have a full review of the water wolf on my channel but this video was taken with it 👇🏻 Crazy Clear Underwater Fishing Camera Footage - Bass Pollack & More kzread.info/dash/bejne/poCozpuFg9Pgcbw.html

No it’s not somthing I have tried yet as honestly the time of year I fish for them round here Mackerel and big Launce are plentiful and haven’t had the need to try but a big white strip of squid would work as it’s so visual, they also have been caught on bright white lures so I have no doubt it would work.
