  • @LeonPaxton
    @LeonPaxton6 күн бұрын

    You can do them both ways but a lot of beginners get hung up on their back truck dropping back into a smith if their toe side wheel is hard up to the coping because there is more distance for your heel side wheel to travel and get back into the ramp

  • @LeonPaxton
    @LeonPaxton7 күн бұрын

    Yeah dude, they will be more suited to a 9.25” egg board if you want them to be as close to flush as possible 👌🏽 But I ride 9” trucks on boards between 9.1” to 10” and don’t find and problems with the trucks sitting slightly inside or outside the board edge. That and I don’t want to have to buy a new set of trucks to suit every different board size I try lol

    We can redrill the wheelbase’s other than that, sometimes Heroin drops boards with a 14.4”-14.6” wheel base 👌🏽

  • @yoyoz333
    @yoyoz3338 күн бұрын

    I dont know if I agree with your explanation. Most boards are close to the same length, so a shorter wheelbase will mean that the nose or tail will be longer. A shorter tail will give you more power as it takes longer to snap to the ground. If you want the same power from a longer tail, you will need to make the tail steeper.

    When i was a kid, i would use really bad bearings from time to time. But if you soak them in wd40 overnight, they literally turn into abec 9s and it LASTS. Id do it to better bearings too and it just conditions them nicely and adds some smoothness. I had some blind bearings at one point, and would remove and replace the shields and soak em, and they worked amazingly
