    It was maybe 20 years ago when I drank the KoolAid and purchased K&N air filters for our two cars and the big class A RV. Was there any noticeable performance difference? No. However, we did experience the MAF sensor issue with the Chevy Blazer. DW was driving it, and it intermittently conked out. Diagnosis eventually led to the MAF. It was replaced, and then I removed the K&N filters from all the vehicles. Never again. Was it the K&N air filter that caused the MAF to fail? Don't really know, and don't really care. Others wrote about it, it happened, I didn't need to experiment on my vehicles or put the engines at risk any further. I want/need reliability and longevity in my vehicles. In my view, the K&N did nothing to provide any enhancement to what we want out of our vehicles. At the end of the day, it's a matter of what you're looking to get from doing the change. Higher gas mileage? Better performance? Is the K&N going to make a significant difference or any difference at all? Under typical driving conditions, for the vast majority of folks, I really do not believe it will. If it's not providing any benefit, yet potential harm, then why do it? If you want to spend a few bucks more on an air filter, buy the premium instead of economy Fram, or whatever your favorite paper air filter. In the bigger picture, air filters are cheap - $10/year to replace. The K&N isn't going to save much, if anything, over time for the majority of folks. If the oiled air filter was such a wonderful thing, then why wouldn't the car manufacturers OEM them or even recommend them? Certainly they wouldn't hesitate to offer something that they could charge more for and provide better performance, don't you think? The obvious answer is the right one. If you love K&N and they perform better than the recommended paper air filter for your application, that's wonderful and I'm happy that they work for you.

    (Scotland here). I've been on bikes since the mid 80s, Sons of Anarchy didn't interest me at all. In the late 80s I drank in a pub where the Satan Slaves, Fife hung out, I didn't see any trouble, if there was any, the barmaid (Isabelle?) would have kicked them out. lol

    So happy to own 2 brand new 2024 TRD Offroad Premium 4Runners in my garage. Clear title on both. Both in Underground. Last of the great real Toyota vehicles made and assembled in Japan. Took a 100 pics of the new Tundra on a dealer lot and this junk did not have two straight lines or panel gaps anywhere. It was so pathetic and sad to see this junk at 75000. I had to laugh and cry in the same moment.

    If you want a basic truck that’s reliable, buy a 20 year old truck that was garage kept. There ya go. Most trucks from late 90s early 2000s were some of the best machines ever made

    Wrong if you buy these older diesels from year 2020 you can have 3000 hp and 3500 pound feet of torque and you can have three diesel fuel tanks underneath your truck and not only that you could put a huge diesel tank and you can put fuel diesel tank in the back of your truck in the bed part so yeah my dad’s truck could drive all the way from the East Coast as far as up in Canada you can go all the way to Mexico on three tanks of diesel you know how many miles in kilometres you could drive in a 2020 diesel looks like customized the fuck out drive forever you drive without having to fill up

    My dad‘s twin turbo diesel. V8 makes more power than all these trucks because he has 3000 hp 3500 pound feet of torque and believe it or not. He gets good fuel mileage with diesel not enough horsepower for people like my dad 485 pound feet of torque or horsepower or whatever you just said, that’s puny numbers. We need 3500 pound feet of torque real American muscle in a diesel truck

  • @fluence2105
    @fluence21052 күн бұрын

    Wrong. My dad’s tri turbo diesel V8 makes more power than that toy. Try 4000 hp and 4500 point feet of torque, buster. You can crank hog in that thing so hard it makes ur dad’s truck look like a Tesla. Btw it also has 6 fuel tanks and is reinforced with prefamulated amulite armor.

    Did you know your license plate is pure fucking day you could see that with a blind eye I would takeoff your Harley Davidson license plate so people don’t get your license plate number and start harassing you my advice I never would ever think I would see somebody’s license plate numbers isn’t that a bad thing because then you’re from Ontario you Canadian people can steal from you when they see your license plate, but I don’t think you should show your license plate at all. I think you should blur that out my advice to you.

    That ain’t much horsepower or torque my dad’s truck kicks out 3000 pound feet of torque and it’s a diesel and it would destroy that fucking little Nissan titan pick up truck. I think looks like a kids toy next to my dad’s truck.😂

    Nissan Titan is a shitty truck. You wanna buy a better truck you buy a Dodge they may cost a lot of money but they’re better but if you’re poor by a Toyota and if you’re more poor by a Nissan Titan why don’t you just buy a good truck? It’s either a Ford or a Dodge. Those are the only two things that are good in America. This immigrant shit fucking Toyota shit fucking sucks whatever truck that’s from. It’s from shit Japan.
