  My dad loves only boys aloud apparently my dads neighbours son was in the only boys aloud my dad always breaks down crying when he hears this song because his dad aka my grandfather passed away in 2023 and when my dad was little he used to always be on his shoulders because it was the safest place in the world to him and this song just reminds him about his dad I always say he is always with him forever I live in Manchester in the UK but my dad lives in Holyhead wales where he grew up that’s where my grandfather passed away we played Calon Lan and songs by the beach boys because my grandfather loved the beach boys

  Hi OBA :) . Yet another fine Academy cohort passes through and holds the traditions of all doing their best for the greater OBA. To those who have now left OBA to pursue other careers , I wish you all the very best. To those able to stay with OBA , I am sure your skills attained thus far will largely help the ' 24 OBA lads. You all make the ' old Aussie dude' very very happy to have so much Welsh Choir singing available to me via KZread. Thank you to everyone associated with OBA and look forward to more years of professional choir singing from all the boys and girls from Wales. Cheers , Dave .Australia.

  I'm American and only recently discovered Only Boys Aloud. I still can't get my head around how so much remarkable talent comes from one place...it just doesn't seem possible. At any rate, this song, the tune sounds like Danny Boy....is there something I should know or someone could tell me about the song? Is it Danny Boy in Welsh?
