Pastor Tim reads a chapter of scripture from the Bible to seek Jesus in the known and to see Him reveal the unknown. We see the cultural, historical and faith perspectives of the passages and how the Word of God is as vibrant and relevant today as when lived so long ago.
Please help spread the Gospel of Grace by clicking the thumbs up button and subscribe to my channel so we can walk through the Bible together and see God’s living Word come to life in our own lives as we experience how God has guided His creation. Please share to spread the Word of the Lord to those who need to hear it.

Had to listen late this morning. Have a blessed day! 🕊️
Buenos Dias!
Amazing Psalm! Thank you Pastor Tim for an awesome read!❤
I wonder if it’s a spirit of victimhood or of anger/vengeance. He sent out the woman’s remains to each tribe as a sounding of the alarms of what the tribe of Benjamin had done and declaring war on them.
An interesting observation. Could be.
What are some of your favorite commentaries you use to break these chapters down?
I love "Preaching the Word" series (www.amazon.com/Judges-Ruth-Chaos-Preaching-Word/dp/1433506769). I use Blue Letter Bible as a base source as well as it has verious commentaries, translations, interlinear, etc. (www.blueletterbible.org/). I also use Bible Gateway quite a bit (www.biblegateway.com/). I have various books and other websites. Thanks for asking. Much of what people expect from pastors, preachers and priests is available to anyone.
Thank you
You are very welcome. :)
I needed to hear this today, Pastor Tim. See you tonight at Bible study.❤
Amen! Me too. :)
I just read 1 Corinthians 6 last night and I think Paul may also have been referring to this Psalm in verse 3: "Do you not know that we are to judge angels? How much more, then, matters pertaining to this life!"
That then leads us to Hebrews... :) Consistency in His Word is something God shows again and again from beginning to end.
❤
AMEN, AMEN & AMEN
Everyday, you and the church and the elders are in my/our prayers!!

Good morning Tim. Yes sometimes I do watch this later then everyone else. I usually don't comment because I missed the live broadcast but, the word is how I like to start my day. Thank you for doing such a wonderful teaching of the gospel. May you and your family have a blessed day.
Ahhhh I missed this morning. So sorry. I didn’t know if you were going to have it today or not.
Two new pups ,and still live this morning
Thank you Tim. I needed to hear this today!!
Have you ever seen tornado damage? Trees get twisted until they shatter, Verse 5 reminded me of that.
Thank you brother I am grateful ❤️🔥🙋
"...they knock their arrows to shoot from the shadows at the upright heart." Sounds like the keyboard tough-guys on the internet!
I always miss Slurping Coffees with Jesus so much when you're on break between books. Feels like a great day today
Looking forward to tomorrow morning and the next 2 1/2 months! Thank you for doing Psalms
Catching up, had to drive daughter back to school this morning. Was so sad to miss the live!
Thank you Tim as always for your explanation and teaching. Just catching up finally. This was a great Book and looking forward to Psalms.
"Ranks first" is our euphemism for "is best". But I think a better translation would be "the front rank" like in an army--indicating how powerful it is. This also fits with "Yet it's maker can approach it with his sword."
Good morning. Tim
Are you on this morning Tim 😊
No ma;am. Unfortunately we had a fHad a family emergency last night that kept Karen and I had the ER until 2AM. Father in law is in the hospital and we took mother in law.
Good morning Brother!
Morning!!!
And God said, let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, and that it was good. This is the first time God saw that it was good. The second time in Genesis that it was written that God saw it was good was when God let the dry land appear and gathered the waters under the heaven unto one place. If I am correct you said the appearance of the land and gathering of the water was the first time God saw it was good. Am I correct or am I not understanding the telling.
Correct. It was not until dry land and seas were created in verse 3 that God said it was good. Before the end of that third day. God will not say that again until day six when He populates the land with all animals and then again at the end of the day after creating Adam. :)
Hebrews 12:13 Mark out a straight path for your feet. Then those who follow you, though they are weak and lame, will not stumble and fall but will become strong.
Amen!
Pastor Tim, Thank you for sharing what God gives to you for the Body...you have a great pastoral and teaching anointing upon you. It is a privilege to know those that labor among you. ❤
We are so glad you found and us and walk with us my friend. Have a blessed weekend!
😬 Promo SM
Thank you Pastor Tim!
Pastor Tim thank you for letting the Holy Ghost use you. ❤
Good Morning Pastor Tim and everyone!
So true!
Good Morning ,Pastor Tim and to everyone
Morning!
Good morning!
morning
That is a great point that grace is for God's glory. John 9:1-3 would have rocked Eliphaz's world.
Good evening Tim , I’d rather listen with you instead of reading ahead . I can take it ….. by the way that cup is a bucket ❤️
I’m a little down after this , but that’s because I don’t have “the patience of Job “ .However I will return .
When reading Job at this pace it is reasonable to expect that. But like every word of scripture it is a book of hope. Stay with it and definately read ahead. I have learned in life that patience is only a virtue if you actually have patence (I don't). :)
It is an interesting conundrum. Habakkuk 1:13 says "Your eyes are too pure to look on evil; you cannot tolerate wrongdoing." But goes on to ask the same questions that will come up as we read Job. There is no denying that the Satan is evil--Jesus often called him the Evil One. And there is another example God sending an evil spirit in 1 Samuel 16:14-16.
I have spent over a week chewing on this. :)
Advisory sounds so lite , for the Evil Satan but now I’m really interested .
Very powerful
Changed my perspective on a couple of things happening today with the Church. :)
Thanks for your sermon. I listened your explanation about God's word in detail well. Also I can learned English pronunciation little. Because I am on the way of learning English for long times. Thank you so much. Merci beaucoup.
Your welcome my friend. May the Lord continue to bless you with the desire to learn His word ionm :)
I have a govt job, and talk about my faith. We are forced to be inclusive of all. Christians fall under all as far as I'm concerned
That is what I am talking about! Boldness in God! :)
